For most of 2022, Democratic voters have been more ambivalent about participating in the fall midterms than their Republican counterparts. According to conventional Beltway wisdom, however, that enthusiasm gap has been narrowed by the recent Roe v. Wade ruling and the Jan. 6 hearings. It’s probable, though, that last Monday’s FBI raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate will reestablish the Republican advantage. This unprecedented action will likely energize GOP voters and drown any increase in Democratic enthusiasm beneath a red tsunami. The first poll to measure public response to the raid indicates that it has galvanized Republicans and Independents.

All of the independents and even some of the Dems are getting tired of this nonsense.

I have been faithfully voting for almost 60 years and will continue as long as I am alive. I can’t wait for November. I just hope the Republican Party can at least slow down the Dem’s vote fraud. They know now it’s their only hope.

As always, the left’s judgement on just about everything is clouded by their arrogance and feeling of moral superiority. Unfortunately when they control every institution in America our opinion doesn’t count for spit.

I fall in the independent category BUT I will not now vote for ANY Democrat. Sorry D's there were a few good ones here and there BUT they all fall in the Progressive Socialist melee.
No more Dems ever and I will RUN to vote.

From what I’ve been reading, there was no narrowing of the gap by Roe and hardly anyone cared about the J6 committee. But the response to the raid has been overwhelming with PDT breaking all fund-raising records and polling as more popular than ever.
The left never learns that sometimes you have to hit the brakes on crazy.

I think the Dems, FBI, DOJ and others are not yet through with Trump. I think this was just the first Shot of many to come before the Mid-Terms. That said, REPUBLICANS will gain more and more voters as the persecution goes on and on. In the end, they might yet get Trump if they charge him with CRIMES that he will have to fight in long, drawn out fights in Court. If that happens, he might have to step aside. But! if Democrats think they have won the fight, I say it will just be the beginning! If DeSantis steps in, he will win. Anyone who has been following how he has governed Florida knows he is no Pushover. He is Fearless and he won't hesitate to take over where Trump left off. He will take down the Powers that took down Trump, one by one. I guarantee it! In the end, we will get the last laugh when the FBI, DOJ and others are laying in a puddle of water!

Even if the Rats and the Gestapo lose this latest 'Get Trump' gambit, you can bet your house they have another lie-fest ready and waiting. They're nuts. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real thing.

I believe the dims have up their sleeves a very sinister and calculated electoral strategy to take out PDJT.
How many of us know soft DJT voters who love his policies and track record but dislike intensely his personality? The softness of their support is that they ‘just don’t want to go through it all again’. Given that truth the dims will use every sledgehammer or tiny needle against the man to remind the soft voter (mostly suburban female) for the next two years that a vote for DJT is a guarantee that this all will continue forever if he runs again. They will never let up.

For those who view politics only through their Trump lenses, I fervently pray they wholeheartedly support the GOP in this year's elections for control of both houses of Congress. While Republican politicians aren't perfect, they are a darned sight better than any democrats. Plus, if Republicans take over the House with a huge margin, then Trump, if elected in '24, will not have to be dodging impeachments and taking back the Senate will allow Trump's court nominees to be approved and seated. Changes to our IC and federal law enforcement will be possible with control of Congress and the White House. Most importantly, in order to even survive as a nation until the '24 elections, a Republican Congress is necessary to blunt Biden's excessive tax and spend, open border, and hideous Green New Deal policies. Garland and perhaps Biden can be impeached and removed. After two years of Kamala, the democrats in '24 may as well throw in the towel.

I have a humble suggestion for PDJT, to be accomplished with the help of his landscape crew at Mar-A-Lago. Dedicate a suitably sized area to be renamed 'Lexington Green'. Be sure to include an enormous vessel in which to receive campaign contributions. Better not to have a guest register to sign.
