For all of the media’s hyperventilating about the GOP’s “culture war,” most Republicans show little to no interest in fighting it. In truth, the “culture war” is hopelessly one-sided, pitting tenacious Democrats against irresolute or decadent Republicans. Take Nancy Pelosi’s recent gay marriage bill. It passed in the House of Representatives not in spite of the GOP but in part because of it: 47 Republicans, including members of GOP leadership, joined the Democrats in supporting the bill.
Imagine the cries of horror from the media and the Democratic base if 47 Democrats ever voted for a piece of GOP legislation on a crucial social issue. That’s inconceivable

If one is not seasoned and practiced in the Scriptures they cannot determine good from evil, right or wrong. So, one opinion becomes as good … or as bad as the next!

Homosexual "marriage" codified will lead to more Christians or just regular folks being forced to cater to the perversion of these people . Miller -Meeks of Iowa voted for the descent to the sewer.

The culture war is lost in the political and business arenas. Even the spiritual arena, where there are apostate denominations. All we can do is be voices of protest. If we don't speak up, we are just as guilty.

I think Voters will not scream and stomp their feet if they don't agree with the way their Representative voted on this Bill. I think they will show their displeasure at the Ballot Box. So, don't be surprised if a few of those Senators who decide to vote with the Democrats lose their "Safe" Seats!

We don't care who you marry, what you want to be called or what you do in your bedroom with people and animals. We just want you to shut up about it and stop asking us to accept, celebrate or condone it. Remember when you had a closet in which to hide? Get back in there.

What seems to be left unsaid here, is that a primary motivation towards same-sex marriage is the huge benefit of piggy-backing on health insurance, and the simplification of inheritance of real estate and money.

Congress must not have been paying attention to the recent decision by the Supreme Court that anything not specifically mentioned in the Constitution is a matter for the states, not Congress. I doubt if this law will pass the Senate, but if it does, it will be contested in the Supreme Court.

Isn’t it funny that Hispanics are leaving the Demonrat Socialist Marxist Party BECAUSE they lack any moral values???
Conservatives get criticized for having them and told supporting ethical and moral stands are hurting political gains, while the current UPSIDE DOWN “culture” promoted by media is driving them away. Add to that the highly increased cost of living due to inflation and the forgetting that the VAST MAJORITY of the population CANNOT possibly dump their automobile mode of transportation for totally electric vehicles and you realize that what is being promoted is not reality because the leadership of this notion is OUT OF TOUCH with REALITY.

#4, that'll show 'em all right. Make sure the Dems not only keep the Senate, but increase their majority. Sarcasm, btw.
As bad as the RINOs may be, we need to make Schumer the leader of the MINORITY party. Otherwise, we're all screwed.
Look, we won on abortion. This is a country of diverse opinions and compromise. We can't win 'em all.

The best defense is a good offense, and "conservative" forces are perpetually on the defensive trying to conserve, not advance. And there is the major problem. It offers little on the social front except what exists. Pick a social issue, and what's the response...from tradition to Bible quotes. And these don't sell well in the arena of public opinion. What is the most daring conservative position today? To rollback marriage laws? Not much to sell there.

Face it, marriage is between a man and a woman. Since the beginning of time, supported by every country and every type of people, even in the dense jungles where people never had contact with the outside world, they had marriages and they were between a man and a woman. Even in cultures where marriages were pre arranged by families they were between a man and a woman. Have you ever heard of a pre arranged marriage between same sexes. NO. You see, when two partners of the same sex get together it's a civil union, not a marriage. They know it and the world knows it. Got it....

They may not care, but we do. They're leaders of their small group; they are supposed to be leaders of a party that has a platform and a belief system. What does the platform say about marriage? Huh, you punks? Our side needs to learn how to follow our own rules and the rules of our platform. For MAGA to truly fight back, we need to clean how first!
