Excerpt from Dr. Naomi Wolf's 'The Bodies
of Others'

Editors' note: In this powerful excerpt from her new book, The Bodies of Others: The New Authoritarians, COVID-19 and The War Against the Human, Dr. Naomi Wolf examines the human advantages over technology -- and why the globalist elites long to annihilate them. (Snip) As a political force, humans in “analog/humane” spaces have unmatchable superpowers. A group of humans in a local town hall, or a statehouse, or Congress, or Parliament have powers that they lose when driven to digital alternatives.

Comments:

This short excerpt makes me want to read her book. I’m glad this somewhat strange woman has moved to our side. Her insights are sometimes profound.

The fall of Montpelier to the radical left 7 replies

If there is one concept that captured the brilliant vision of President James Madison for government, it was his statement in Federalist 51: “Ambition must be made to counteract ambition.” The use of checks and balances to prevent the concentration of power was key to the stability of the constitutional system that he created. Indeed, his own home at Montpelier may now be an example of what happens when there is such a concentration of power and no check on its abuse. (Snip) The exhibits now emphasize Madison “the enslaver,” and visitors have complained that there is little comparative attention to his contributions to political theory and institutions.

Elon Musk recently declaring that we need to move on from President Donald Trump is the latest example of chatter I have noticed lately on the news and conservative blogs about why we need to do an about-face to Governor Ron DeSantis as our presidential nominee in 2024. (Snip) First, I am a big Governor DeSantis fan. He is showing what strong state leadership looks like and how it is possible to constitutionally resist a tyrannical federal government. DeSantis has been a profile in courage, toughness, sensibility, and even love as he stands for the citizens of Florida. He is the living embodiment of a patriotic executive.

The left’s obsession with centering everything on race and sex has reached a new and despicable low with an upcoming movie called “The Woman King.” The “historical epic film” centers around the real African kingdom of Dahomey, which existed during the Scramble for Africa in the age of empires, around 1800 to 1904. Viola Davis plays General Nanisca, leader of an all-female band of warriors known as the Dahomey Amazons, as she struggles against European attempts to conquer the kingdom. Wow! It’s got everything! Strong, black women and evil, white Europeans. It’s a leftist dream! Except for the horrific reality of how the kingdom of Dahomey treated

Headlines lately have not been encouraging for the faithful. A Gallup poll shows that the percentage of Americans who believe in God has fallen to 81 percent—a drop of 10 percent over the last decade and an all-time low. This accelerating trend is especially pronounced among young adults. (Snip) Perhaps surprisingly, our survey discovered that the perceived message of science has played a leading role in the loss of faith. We found that scientific theories about the unguided evolution of life have, in particular, led more people to reject belief in God than worries about suffering, disease, or death.

The calls and text messages are relentless. On the other end are doctors and scientists at the top levels of the NIH, FDA and CDC. They are variously frustrated, exasperated and alarmed about the direction of the agencies to which they have devoted their careers. “It's like a horror movie I'm being forced to watch and I can't close my eyes,” one senior FDA official lamented. “People are getting bad advice and we can’t say anything.” That particular FDA doctor was referring to two recent developments inside the agency. First, how, with no solid clinical data, the agency authorized Covid vaccines for infants and toddlers,

First of all, none of you are required to become parents. Some people should never, ever be parents. The shrieking ogres bawling and fainting in front of the Supreme Court recently look like they’d make terrible mothers. (Snip) But for the rest of humanity, the normal people, parenthood is something that beckons like a shimmering far away shore as you exit your teenage years. “One day,” we think, “I’ll get to have my own baby!” Planned Parenthood is the greatest branding triumph in the modern world. (Snip) Waiting until conditions are perfect, however, is a bad idea. It’s a trap that will leave you high and dried up.

Apologies for being late with a post today. The day was a busy one for me, with much of it spent transcribing what I thought were the especially relevant parts of an interview with Dr. Pierre Kory, President of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC). (Snip) I think readers will find these lengthy excerpts quite interesting and even powerful. The focus—at least of the excerpts I’ve included below—is on excess mortality resulting from the Covid injections, as well as treatment for those who have been injured. What I’ve left out are the portions that deal with the efforts on the part of the American Board

Police in the Netherlands opened fire at farmers protesting against the government’s radical new “climate change” policies. The shots were fired when a tractor convoy tried to push past a police barricade, the local news reports say. “The incident occurred late Tuesday evening on a freeway access near Heerenveen” in northern Holland, the Swiss newspaper Schweizer Bauer reported. “Farmers had blocked the road with tractors. As they approached police and their vehicles, the officers resorted to their firearms and hit at least one of the tractors,” the daily added, citing police sources.

Five weeks ago, shortly after the last mass shooting occurred, I published a two-part series demonstrating the link between taking certain psychiatric medicines and developing violent psychotic behavior, which includes committing mass shootings. Although this idea is commonly viewed as a “conspiracy theory” this label is inappropriate because there is a large amount of evidence showing this does happen, and both the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the link exists. (Snip) As far as I know, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham are the only news hosts on any network who have ever been willing to air content critical of the pharmaceutical industry,

Doctors are mystified by a rash of seizures, rashes, etc. happening to 2 and 3-year-old kids. The only thing these kids have in common is that they were given the COVID vaccine just days earlier (two to five days earlier). The doctors cannot figure out what is causing the seizures (since it couldn’t be the vaccine since those are safe and effective). The medical staff is not permitted to talk about the cases to the press or on social media or they will be fired. (Snip) There is nothing on the mainstream media about this since the nurses and doctors aren’t allowed to talk about it.

The power of the administrative state to destroy liberty and property – to blast through legislation, science, and judicial oversight – was never more on display than in the last two and a half years. One would hope that the deep bureaucracies would have learned their lessons on how not to respond to a new pathogen. There is no evidence they have. Regardless, the real problem is much deeper. It has to do with the status of the administrative state as the effective governing apparatus of the US. It’s not Congress and not the President. It’s the vast and permanent bureaucracy of 432 agencies and 2.9M bureaucrats who are unreachable

Welp, here we go again — with more ignorance of the role of the United States Supreme Court in the aftermath of the Roe overturn. Only this time, the idiocy comes from within SCOTUS, courtesy of Elena Kagan, who on Thursday claimed the legitimacy of the Court is tied to its conformity with public opinion. Roll that over in your mind a couple of times. Silly me. All this time, I thought the Supreme Court’s role was that of final arbiter of the law, thus ensuring the American people with the promise of equal justice under the law and, thereby, as guardian of the Constitution

Faced with demographic shifts and a red-hot civilian job market, Army officials said the number of active-duty soldiers is expected to drop considerably over the next several years.(Snip)Recruitment officials for the Air Force, Navy and Marines say they are facing similar challenges.
