On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) said that “in the southern part of the area from Laredo down to the valley,” only 30% of Border Patrol agents are actually on the border because the rest are doing processing and administrative work, and that at a time when “we have larger amounts of drugs coming in, more people coming in, we have a lesser number of Border Patrol agents doing their work.”(Snip)He continued, “But the problem is, as you know, Border Patrol right now in the southern part of the area from Laredo down to the valley, 60% of the Border

Former President Donald Trump’s adviser believes Covid-19 could have leaked from a Wuhan lab where scientists were working on vaccines for similar viruses. Infectious diseases expert and former presidential Covid adviser Dr Deborah Birx told The Mail on Sunday that coronavirus ‘came out of the box ready to infect’ when it emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2020. The adviser said most viruses take months or years to become highly infectious to humans. But, Dr Birx said, Covid ‘was already more infectious than flu when it first arrived’. She said that meant Covid was either an ‘abnormal thing of nature’ or that Chinese scientists were ‘working

Haiti’s capital has been racked by a week of heavy fighting between gangs, with the global medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) warning that thousands of people were trapped without food or water in one district of Port-au-Prince’s notorious Cité Soleil slum. “We are calling on all belligerents to allow aid to enter Brooklyn and to spare civilians,” said Mumuza Muhindo, the MSF’s head of mission in Haiti, in a statement referring to the contested area within the sprawling Cité Soleil. About 20,000 people have fled their homes since May because of gang warfare, according to the UN.(Snip)The violence is the latest in a litany of woes

It's a bridge too far gone. An industrious vagrant has built a 16-square-foot wooden home on the Manhattan Bridge bike path, right under the noses of city authorities—a new low for the once-great span that’s now a magnet for trash, graffiti and hobos. The ramshackle shed was pieced together with plywood, two-by-fours and cardboard. It lacks indoor plumbing—but the homeowner has a green pail for that. He also has a lounge chair to take in the fabulous views.(Snip)On Saturday morning, the city Department of Homeless Services and other agencies conducted a cleanup in the area. Workers painted over graffiti near the shack

Clean energy proponents are touting the use of solar and wind power in oil-rich Texas, but a summer heat wave is showing the limits of renewables in sustaining a major power grid. Temperatures have climbed into the 100’s this month and Texas energy companies are sending urgent messages to customers to warn of rolling blackouts. They also are asking customers to conserve by raising thermostats, cutting back on using dishwashers and washing machines and limiting electric vehicle charging. Energy Texas, one of 150 retail electricity providers in the state, blamed the looming threat of power outages on “triple-digit temperatures and low wind generation.” Despite producing more oil

The globalist billionaire who funded the woke transformation of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello paid for a similar overhaul of James Madison’s house—where the author of the US Constitution has been shoved into a supporting role, while slavery and racism take center stage. No American flags fly at Montpelier, Madison’s plantation home in rural Virginia, and not a single display focuses on the life and accomplishments of America’s foremost political philosopher, who created our three-branch federal system of government, wrote the Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers, and served two terms as president.(Snip)Another exhibit damns every one of the nation’s first 18 presidents

Joe Biden’s transgender Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Rachel (Richard) Levine and newly hired DOE employee Sam Brinton celebrated Bastille Day at the French Ambassador’s residence. Sam Brinton is a “non-binary” drag queen into “kink” with “they/them” pronouns. Brinton is also a “pup handler”–Yikes. Sam Brinton wore a blue dress with bright blue heels and Rachel Levine wore his admiral’s uniform, pantyhose and heels. “Week 4 On The Job: Champagne and Celebration with the French Ambassador in his residence for Bastille Day. A teen who was twice charged with possessing loaded handguns got treated with kid gloves both times under the state’s controversial “Raise the Age” law—allowing him to allegedly use another weapon to accidentally shoot himself in his bedroom, The Post has learned.
But even the self-inflicted wound wasn’t enough to get reputed gang member Rodney Sanders of Brooklyn locked up, which only happened after his fourth gun arrest in less than nine months, according to law enforcement sources. “What does it take for politicians to realize some people should not be treated as minors?” one Brooklyn cop fumed. “Do they have to shoot someone besides themselves?”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson has claimed that President Joe Biden takes 'pills' to boost his cognitive performance before public appearances. Biden, 79, has strenuously rejected similar allegations in the past, but Carlson claimed on his Friday evening show that he had spoken 'directly' to a witness who saw the alleged medication on the 2020 campaign trail. 'His staff, supervised by Dr. Jill, his wife, was giving him pills before every public appearance. Checking the time, and at the certain hour giving him a dose of something,' said Carlson. 'Before taking the medications, this person said Biden was 'Like a small child.' You could not communicate with him,

The president of the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation filed an ethics complaint over a prominent Democrat, accusing the congresswoman of damaging the reputation of a gun rights researcher.
Kevin Roberts, president of the organization, said parts of California Rep. Katie Porter’s line of questioning in a June 8 Oversight committee hearing should be retracted over her alleged intentions to defame a GOP witness. “I would love for the committee to reprimand the representative for doing what she did,” Mr. Roberts told Fox News Digital. “I think at the very least there needs to be an apology. There needs to be a … retraction in the official record of that exchange.”
Comments:
The civil unrest fomented by the BLM communist front group started in the summer of 2020, which the first paragraph of the article pinpoints as the inflection point for increase gun violence, yet the name of American secular saint George Floyd appears nowhere in the article. "Black" or "African American" aren't mentioned either, despite, as the pattern goes, nearly all of the violent crime coming from a very specific subset of The Community. So instead of communist agitation and culturally sanctioned criminality being at fault, it's guns. A nation cannot survive when its people are fed a steady diet of lies, which is why the communists took control of the news media.
