In the wake of the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade and Casey v. Planned Parenthood, the corporate and entertainment world have joined the pro-abortion chorus in denouncing the decision, the Court, and the pro-life movement. Their reaction has been swift and predictable.
The Hollywood crowd wasted no time screeching on social media, according to Newsweek. Bette Midler wrote about the Court: "They did it. THEY DID IT TO US. ... How dare they?" She called a woman who suggested adoption as an alternative to abortion "some b---- on TV" and warned gays, "You're next." Actor Samuel L. Jackson called Justice Thomas "Uncle Clarence."

Very little is being discussed about how we got here; The ''Freedom of Choice Act'' would have codified the legality of abortion into Federal Law. In 2007 candidate Obama told Planned Parenthood that his first act as President would be to sign it into law. He lied. He had a veto-proof majority and it was never passed. If it had been passed, it would have been difficult to repeal [think Obamacare]. Ginsburg could have retired and had Obama name her replacement. She refused and indicated that she wanted her replacement appointed by the first woman president [we know how that worked out for her]. The Dems' hubris, vanity, and exploiting an issue for fundraising has resulted in the issue being decided by State Legislatures. Yet, the Dems vilify and threaten sitting court justices for defensible legal interpretations.

I think it was a Country-Western song that said, "Don't be so open-minded that your brain falls out."

Boycotts or semi-boycotts don't work. The battle will take place in the political and cultural arenas. Opposition to dictorial politics should be based on a rational sense of reality and ethics. It is already being done. We are winning, that is why they are crying and screaming and exhibiting their violent desires.

Don't be amazed, OP. It would be a full-time job trying to keep track of which outfits are "woke" and which are not. And "woke" businesses may hate us, but their hatred is an abstraction. Their prompt and efficient service is a day-to-day reality.

The Freedom of Choice Act has been proposed since the 90s but never made it out of Judicial Committee hearings during ny session of Congress. It is so obviously unconstitutional it was never considered to go to the floor.
A Constitutional Amendment is required in order to remove abortion from the 10th Amendment rights of States. This SCOTUS finally had the courage to acknowledge that there was nothing in the Constitution to support any Federal juristiction or enforcement powers regarding Roe v Wade.

Better Midler complaining about the loss of abortion services is a joke. Not even a liberal, basement dwelling pajama boy would touch that pig!

And, echoing and agreeing with #8, how about Kellogg's breaking up. I bet that a significant piece of that is people just not buying their like of politics with their cereal. I entirely stopped with Kelloggs and General Mills cereals, and found suitable alternatives.

Free Americans need to stop buying stuff from CommuNazis and their mega-corporations, like Disney.

I can understand the women's freaking out about this, but why the men? Have they had it too easy since Roe VS Wade? They can just tell the pregnant partner to go get an abortion and is off the hook. Meanwhile what that does to her body, never mind her psyche, is her problem. More fool she. Maybe women will need to smarten up about who they jump into bed with.

Haven't paid for a movie ticket in years. Never step into a Starbucks. Stopped buying from Woke Coke. Many others are doing the same. Hollywood profits are down, Starbucks is closing stores, and Coke has been selling buy one get one free cases. It makes a difference.

I no longer spend ANY money with companies who hate all that I revere. I am amazed at how people continue to support those who hate them and fund those working against all they believe in. Usually the reason is "convenience". It would be inconvenient to not use these products or services.
