The Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx allegedly slapped her husband during a domestic dispute, according to her spouse.
A police officer from the Flossmoor Police Department in Illinois was dispatched to a home on June 4 at around 10:00 p.m. in response to a domestic dispute between Kim Foxx and her husband, Kelley Foxx. Kelley Foxx dialed 911 to report a domestic dispute with his wife, according to the police report, which states that the officer was told that the dispute was physical but there were no injuries "yet."
Fox News obtained the police report through a public records request.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) went up by 8.6 percent in May, the highest year-over-year increase since December 1981, the Bureau of Labor Statistics revealed on Friday.
The increase was higher than the 8.3 percent increase projected by economists. Core CPI, excluding volatile energy and food prices, increased by six percent year-over-year.
The CPI increased by 1 percent in May alone, with core CPI rising 0.6 percent over the same period.
Price increases were recorded in “shelter, gasoline, and food,” the BLS said. Gas prices hit a new record on Friday with the national average reaching $4.986 per gallon, according to AAA.

If the Democrats thought that the reaction to the Jan. 6 Committee was going to be riveting, the reaction so far from a variety of quarters says not so much.
CNN’s Chris Wallace expressed skepticism that the Committee was going to produce anything of worth.
“I’m kind of skeptical about what we’re going to see tonight and over the next couple of weeks,” Wallace said on CNN minutes before the hearing was set to begin.
Wallace said the committee had put itself in danger of falling victim to too much “hype” about its findings and “over-selling” what they have to tell the American people about the attack.
One of the most difficult psychological transitions is facing hatred of self or loved ones by significant people in our lives. The challenge of admitting when we are hated makes it difficult to take steps to protect the vulnerable from that hatred. The normal mind projects onto others the degree of acceptance and respect that it naturally grants to others. The healthy mind must learn through unhappy experience when mutual acceptance and respect are absent. Most Americans do not trust the Biden administration or Dr. Anthony Fauci to properly handle a monkeypox outbreak, a Trafalgar Group and Convention of States Action survey released Wednesday found.
“How much do you trust that the Biden Administration and Dr. Fauci will handle the Monkeypox outbreak properly?” the survey asked.
Overall, 56 percent indicated that they do not trust them, and of those, 46.8 percent said they “don’t trust at all.” Another 39.7 percent said they trust the administration and Fauci to handle it, and of those, 27.7 percent said they trust them “very much.”

While meeting with conservative activists at a Phoenix IHOP, Senate candidate Blake Masters (R-AZ.) questioned whether Jan. 6 was just one big set up by the FBI.

Blake Masters, a Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Arizona, forcefully ejected a Democratic activist from a GOP mixer last weekend, according to video footage of the event.
The incident took place at a meet-and-greet for Republican candidates in Green Valley, Arizona, on Saturday night. Peter Jackson, a 73-year-old Democratic activist, went to the event wearing a “Black Lives Matter” T-shirt and a button reading “fully vaxxed”; he was immediately confronted after he tried to attack an elderly woman.
Despite taking action into his own hands to help the elderly woman from being further attacked, left-wing journalists and activists targeted Masters, painting him as the villain.
