State investigators are calling the way prosecutors track credibility issues with Minneapolis Police officers a “systemic failure.”
These are issues that prosecutors are required by law to share in future cases.
The Minnesota Department of Human Rights report into racial discrimination at MPD provided the public a rare look into how prosecutors keep tabs on officers that may not be trusted in court.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation may have conducted as many as 3.4 million searches of Americans' elecronic data without a warrant last year. The Wall Street Journal first cited the number Friday, saying it came from an annual report published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The report doesn't allege that the FBI was illegally or improperly searching American data, but still could alarm members of Congress over privacy concerns.White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at Friday's press briefing she had not discussed the Journal's report with President Joe Biden.

President Trump surrounded himself with some unique individuals in his 2016 Campaign and in the White House. However, the relationship between George and Kellyanne Conway was the most bizarre in politics.
President Trump brought Kellyanne Conway into his White House as a Senior Counselor after she became the first woman to successfully lead a Presidential campaign. Kellyanne was fearless, sharp, and polished. She wasn’t afraid to tell the truth.
It was announced yesterday that Kellyanne will speak at the Trump Rally in Nebraska tonight.

NEW YORK—When some two dozen New Yorkers filed into a Manhattan courthouse this week to finish out their grand jury service, the case against a man who would have been the world’s most prominent criminal defendant was no longer before them. That man, Donald Trump, was facing potential criminal charges from the grand jury this year over his business practices. But in the weeks since the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, stopped presenting evidence to the jurors about Trump, new signs have emerged that the former president will not be indicted in Manhattan in the foreseeable future — if at all.

A federal speech czar? Geoff Morrell, the chief corporate affairs officer for Disney, who helped crafted the embattled company’s response to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, has resigned to “pursue other opportunities” after just three months.
The one-time George W. Bush Pentagon spokesman joined Disney only three months ago to head up the company’s global communications dept. — which included overseeing Disney’s government relations and public policy.
But on Friday, Morrell released a statement telling the company that he was stepping away, saying, “After three months in this new role, it has become clear to me that for a number of reasons it is not the right fit,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Elon Musk buying Twitter and taking over the controversial social media platform is the greatest defense of freedom and democracy since President Ronald Reagan said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” in 1987.For years now, Twitter, Facebook, Google and other Big Tech giants — run by rabid left-wing political activists — have been wrongfully and deceitfully silencing scores of conservatives and anyone who strays from their stringent liberal orthodoxy. CNN political commentator Van Jones was very blunt Friday, asserting that the day-to-day lives of black Americans have worsened under the lack of leadership by President Joe Biden and claimed that Democrats have “overpromised, underdelivered so far.”
Van Jones appeared on CNN’s “New Day” with co-host John Berman. He tore into Biden and fellow Democrats over cratering poll numbers, especially among black voters. A Gallup poll this month showed Biden’s approval rating among black Americans optimistically standing at 67 percent. The kicker is that number has dropped a shocking 20 percent since he took office.

Evidence continues to mount that the Hillary Clinton campaign paid former MI6 agent Christopher Steele to launder fraudulent opposition research through U.S. intelligence agencies.Newly published internal emails reveal that before Fusion GPS hired Steele on behalf of the Clinton campaign to dig up dirt on Donald Trump, the opposition-research firm began peddling several of the same Russia collusion lies that the former MI6 agent would later detail in the Steele dossier. This fact highlights a significant aspect of the Spygate scandal that deserves further focus and condemnation: Democrats’ outrageous exploitation of intelligence credentials and connections to launder scurrilous accusations against a political enemy.

It was not a coincidence that you had Elon Musk buying Twitter and then all of sudden, the Biden team found the need to form a Ministry of Truth run by the DHS — otherwise known as a creepy-sounding “Disinformation Governance Board.” Now, the first reaction to such an effort by the Biden Administration that most people would have to this is how incredibly Orwellian it is. The second might be that it’s exactly what the First Amendment was designed to protect against. The third might be to take notice this says “governance,” and is being run by the Department of Homeland Security, which usually is pursuing threats and crimes.

Even as criticism of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill continues, the mountain of proof that lawmakers were justified in passing the law continues to grow.
Nowhere is that proof more obvious than the Evanston/Skokie School District 65. The Illinois system recently adopted a radical gender education program specifically aimed at children from pre-kindergarten through third grade. Kindergarteners are taught that they will “feel like a boy or a girl or some of each,” and that is their gender identity. Kids learn to celebrate the transgender flag, shatter gender norms built by white “colonizers,” and do exercises with new pronouns for the 72 genders.

I held my silence following the death on Saturday of Orrin Hatch, the former long-serving Republican senator from Utah. One doesn’t rush to speak ill of the dead. And besides, Senator Hatch had some redeeming qualities. He was unfailingly gentlemanly and on many issues he was squarely in the same camp as I.
But he was also far from a conservative warrior; he was, in fact, part of the uniparty establishment, and pulled his punches on many key issues. For a scathing look at Hatch’s record, check out Michelle Malkin’s essay at Vdare.com:

The claims that the 2020 Presidential election was wrought with fraud and abuse have been sung from every mountain top in the land, and by every conservative politician or public figure of note. Conversely, claims that it was the most secure election in the history of Presidential politics have been spoken on every liberal street corner and by every mainstream media personality in the country.
The American public has become tired of both sides, having been beaten down by the rights claim of a “rigged” election, and weary of the lefts claim that this was a white glove tested, perfectly executed demonstration of democracy in action.

When Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently unveiled his “six pillar plan” for dealing with the crisis on our southern border, he certainly didn’t mention this truly awful idea. During his recent testimony before Congress, Mayorkas slipped in one option that Joe Biden is reportedly considering. In order to provide better care for the tens of thousands of illegal aliens streaming across the border, the White House is looking at the possibility of diverting funding from the Veterans Administration for that situation. Additionally, some of the doctors and nurses tasked with caring for our veterans could be reassigned to providing care for the illegals.

Marjorie Taylor Greene turned the tables on Jim Acosta, calling out the notorious CNN pest who tried in vain to lure her into commenting on text messages that were sent in the aftermath of the so-called “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol. With media chatter heating up before Nancy Pelosi’s sham January 6 committee holds public hearings in June, something that Democrats will make every attempt to turn into a national media spectacle, Acosta sought to get the Georgia congresswoman’s remarks on video which would almost certainly be twisted in order to portray her in a less than flattering light.

New federal lawsuit seeks to halt Texas’ border trespassing arrests, give more than $5 million to illegally detained migrants. In a new challenge to Gov. Greg Abbott’s controversial border security crackdown, a lawsuit filed Wednesday is asking a federal court to shut down Texas’ system of arresting migrants en masse along the Texas-Mexico border, and make the state pay more than $5 million to men who were illegally imprisoned under the system. The lawsuit comes nearly a year after Abbott first ordered Texas police to arrest men suspected of illegally crossing the border on misdemeanor trespassing charges.

Watch “2000 Mules” the investigation into the 2020 ballot trafficking conspiracy. The Gateway Pundit recently spoke to David Lara, an Arizona citizen who discovered a ballot trafficking “cartel” in his local community of San Luis. We previously reported that the Arizona Attorney General received this evidence before the 2020 General Election, but he did nothing about it. RINO Mark Brnovich waited until now to investigate the stolen 2020 Election.

This week, we've been introduced to a new breed of an old Stasi standby now in the United States: the intrusive political censor.
Once the province of crummy, furtive, little gray-faced men, as depicted in "The Lives of Others," these modern day censors are now out and open as big social media stars, not even trying to hide their claims to being our political masters.
While Elon Musk, was decrying the censorship activities of Twitter's top corporate attorney Vijaya Gadde, and the latter famously bawled about her company's new owner, Joe Biden's secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, was introducing us to think tank regular Nina Jankowicz who made a bizarre

In case you were wondering why all views contrary to the Official Narrative have been canceled, it's because of the Asch Conformity Experiment. (snip) Asch showed that people will actually believe things that they know to be false if they think everybody else believes those things. That is the point of the COVID nightmare experiment we just lived though. You must believe:
COVID is hugely riskier than it actually was, so any actions are justified.
Vaccines are your only hope, even though the technology has never worked.

WASHINGTON — Citing growing worries about high gasoline prices, Democratic leaders announced an effort Thursday to give the Federal Trade Commission increased authority to crack down on companies that engage in price gouging. In doing so, they downplayed the possibility of other options such as a federal gas tax holiday or offering oil companies more government incentives to increase production. Instead, they said the FTC needs more tools, including stiffer fines and penalties and a team of dedicated experts to monitor markets and go after price gouging. With voters concerned about the growing toll of inflation, Democrats again signaled their intention

Much has been said about Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law. While the left did everything possible to demonize the bill and turn public opinion against it, their efforts didn’t work.
Their media tried to label it as the “Don’t Say Gay Bill,” which it wasn’t. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his husband Chasten, among others, tried to convince us that kids would die as a result of the law, which they won’t. And Democrats continue to assert that the law will negatively impact the learning environment for kids in the state, which is absurd.

Coming out of the New York Post is the horrible story of a fifteen-year-old who eventually killed himself after relentless bullying from pro-vax classmates who alleged the deceased was not vaccinated against Covid. Nate Bronstein, a teenager who attended the $40,000 per year Latin School of Chicago, was found dead this past January.
A lawsuit was filed shortly after his death, and goes into remarkable detail about how often both the parents and now-deceased child attempted to reconcile the bullying over the false rumors of him not being vaccinated against Covid.

Things got pretty weird, pretty quickly in the wake of Elon Musk’s trial balloon about buying Twitter, a deal that went through Monday, much to the chagrin of the progressive chattering class who were super duper certain the Tesla and SpaceX boy genius was just foolin’ for fun.
Poor NPR, for example, forced to aggregate what Musk might actually do with his new toy (and, to be fair, they pulled from his own public statements), characterizes the sale this way:
“[T]he world’s richest person who has a penchant for theatrics and erratic behavior is about to have the power to reshape discourse

The Biden Justice Department is finally acknowledging the war on cops: FBI Director Christopher Wray denounced the 59% increase in cop murders in 2021.
An officer is murdered nearly once every five days, yet violence against law enforcement “doesn’t get enough attention,” Wray said Sunday on CBS’s “60 Minutes.”
That is an understatement. Wray’s bosses — Attorney General Merrick Garland and President Joe Biden — have instead focused almost exclusively on alleged white-supremacist criminality

Few events in recent history have elicited such handwringing and lamentations from the left as the possibility that Elon Musk might own Twitter.
But have all their tears been for naught? The deal that Musk has crafted to buy the social media giant is fragile and could unravel as fast as it was put together.
One indication is the market — usually a pretty good indicator of what’s going to happen. Twitter shares plummeted after investors began to look more closely at the deal.
Musk also has a history of changing his mind. (Snip)
There are a lot of moving parts to the Twitter deal and investors aren’t convinced Musk can

When it comes to the economy, Democrats like to say it’s unfair to judge a president by his first year in office. Very well. President Biden is now in his second year and now we have the statistical verdict of his economic stewardship rendered by the first-quarter drop in GDP. Stagflation, anyone?
It may well be that the first quarter’s annual GDP growth of -1.4% marks not just the beginning of a period of low or no growth accompanied by inflation, but also the return to the stagflation that ruined the decade of the 1970s and helped destroy the presidency of Jimmy Carter.
And no, you can’t blame Donald Trump

There's an old joke about a fictitious poll taker who asked people what they thought about ignorance and apathy when it comes to politics and elections. One respondent said, "I don't know, and I don't care."
I thought of that joke after seeing a recent YouGov poll. It shows a vast gap between what people believe to be true and what is verifiably true.
Here are a few examples. According to the poll, transgender individuals make up just 1 percent of the U.S. population, yet people believe the estimated proportion is 21 percent. Only about 1 percent of U.S. households earn more than $500,000 a year,

The media likes to lecture Americans about the increasing threat to democracy posed by ‘conspiracy theories.’ The term, historically relegated to UFOs and the JFK assassination, has picked up steam in recent years as it seems to have obtained some political usefulness. Early examples include the Hillary Clinton private email server, spying on the Trump 2016 Presidential campaign, and the contention that Trump-Russia collusion was a product of the Clinton campaign’s opposition research. In each of these instances, dismissing allegations of wrongdoing as conspiracy theories proved more useful than trying to dispute what later turned out to be reality.

On April 22, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law legislation that eliminated the Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID). Enacted in 1967, the RCID gave Disney self-governance over its 39.06 square mile, 25,000-acre resort area on the outer limits of Orange and Osceola Counties. The RCID gave Disney authority to function as the equivalent of a county government. Some pundits have argued that First Amendment law gives Disney good odds of defeating what has been described as a “retaliatory” revocation of Disney’s RCID. Rightly construed, the First Amendment does not protect Disney from loss of the “special privilege” because Florida has done nothing to target

A majority of Americans approve of Elon Musk’s $44 billion buyout of Twitter, according to the results of an upcoming poll obtained by The Post.Even as employees of the social media giant are melting down at the prospect of new ownership, a Rasmussen poll set to be released Friday found that 62 percent of adults think Musk’s purchase will make Twitter better.Just 13 percent, meanwhile, feel Musk will make the platform worse, the poll shows.Women, Republicans, people over 40 and lower income earners were the most enthusiastic demographics about the Musk takeover.

Elections have consequences.
Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences. Joe Biden tweeted a hit piece on Republicans on Thursday night. This was posted before his pudding and an early bedtime. After four hours the President of the United States had only 1,199 retweets. He has 33 million followers. (Tweet) President Trump published his first post on Truth Social tonight. After an hour Trump had 42,000 retweets and over 100,000 likes. He has 2 million followers on Truth Social.

Donald Trump has made his debut on his Twitter rival Truth Social with a self-deprecating gag about one of his many controversial tweets. The former president wrote: 'I'M BACK! #COVFEFE' in his inaugural post Thursday evening. He accompanied the message with a photograph of himself looking at his phone on an immaculate green croquet lawn outside his Mar-a-Lago country club in West Palm Beach, Florida. #COVEFE is a lighthearted reference to Trump's 2017 tweet, where he criticized the media coverage of his administration. On May 30, 2017, the then-president wrote on Twitter - which he vowed not to rejoin, despite Elon Musk's $44billion purchase -

A former U.S. Marine was killed while fighting alongside Ukrainian forces after the private security firm he worked for sent him to war. The family of Willy Joseph Cancel, 22, of Orange County New York, confirmed that the husband and father of a seven-month-old son had died in the Ukraine fighting Russian forces on Monday, CNN reported. He is survived by his wife Brittany, who he married in July 2019, as well as the couple's seven month-old son Anthony. A Bronx man has been freed on a misdemeanor charge despite allegedly being filmed beating a 53 year-old man while wearing knuckle-dusters after his friend's poor driving saw them crash their Lexus into the victim's car. Miquiel Guerrero, 23, was arrested on March 30 after he and five others surrounded the unidentified victim, 53, and his car after they crashed into each other on Exterior Street in the Grand Concourse neighborhood. A man cops say is Guerrero was then filmed brutally-attacking his victim while wearing knuckle-dusters while his posse jumped on the man's car and stole it. The van driver made no attempt to fight back.
