What the Hell is Going on in Russia?

Original Article

"What the hell is going on in Russia" is the kind of headline you write when there's so much weird stuff going on that it's impossible to summarize it cleverly. Maybe you'll find this catchier: there's a lot of stuff getting blown up in Russia and it might not just be the Ukrainians blowing it up.

Comments:

I like the conclusion of this article: "it's the nature of wars that are meant to be limited to spin out of control."

The dead oligarchs and their families are Vlad the Mad consolidating his control. His power derives from oligarchs and a few of them and their families have been sacrificed to keep the others in line. The explosions COULD be Ukrainian sleeper cells activated to hamper Russian support efforts. Ukrainians can easily infiltrate Russian society. OR, it could be Russians themselves, maybe military, who don't want to get dragged off to Ukraine to die for Vlad's ego drive.

Wow any fool could see this is a war that neither can win. Vlad needs to cut and run but he doesn't have that in him.

In war it's called "sabotage", otherwise, it's "terrorism". So, I guess it depends on who is doing it. Maybe it's the same ones who are blowing up food processing plants in this country...

I've been expecting this. Ukrainians can rather easily pass as Russians, and with some forged papers, and a backpack full of explosives - wreak havoc. The Germans in France found that they had a lot of difficulty keeping RRs and such working. They caught and killed a lot of French resistance fighters, but the Resistance was able to cause them a lot of difficulty. This isn't surprising, other than it took this long to organize and get rolling.

All these fires and explosions in Russia are just a total coincidence, just like we are told the fires and explosions at all the US food processing plants the last few months are also coincidence. Take off your tinfoil hats!

What's really happening - look shiny thing or is it a squirrel! The facts are Mariupol is lost and the Ukrainian army in the Donbas Cauldron is being annihilated. Karma, I think not. The psyops out of our and western leadership and parroted by the MSM reminds me of a derivation of an old nursery rhyme: Mary had a little lamb It's feet as black as charcoal It stuck it' head between its legs And whistled up its **!

Sounds like sabotage. A lot of Ukrainians actually live in Russia, and have so for years. They are probably striking back when the opportunity allows. Putin doesn't have an iron-clad grip on society like the Soviets did in the 1970s.

The saboteurs might not be Ukrainians. They could be ordinary Russians who don't want to die in or for this useless war. Come to think of it what DOES Putin get by attacking Ukraine?

One might also ask that question about food processing plants here in this country. The government issues a warning about possible food shortages and distribution in this country, and immediately food processing plants start catching fire, blowing up, and planes crashing into them.

Could simple oxygen therapy be enough to reverse the effects of Alzheimer’s? [...] small-scale study by researchers at Tel Aviv University suggests that dementia patients may see those symptoms improve, and even reverse, through hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). [...] professor Tom Dening, an expert in dementia at the University of Nottingham, told the Telegraph, “To be useful, the treatment would have to be continued indefinitely, so any patients would have to be very highly motivated and have good transport links to the treatment facility.” With some 6 million dementia sufferers in the US, “it is hard to see how hyperbaric oxygen could ever be available on this scale.”  CORRECTION*

A group of Sarasota County parents has sued the Sarasota County School Board, arguing that its policy requiring children to wear masks while at school denies them their right to an equal education. The 59-page lawsuit was filed Oct. 21 in Sarasota County by Amy Cook and Gustavo Collazo, as well as Nicholas Eastman and Catherine Gonzales. The School Board is named as the defendant. [...] The lawsuit invokes the historic 1954 Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka race-based case that established that every child should have an equal right to education, as well as the Florida constitution, in its reasoning as to why students shouldn’t have to wear masks.

AMC Theaters will require its customers to wear face masks after catching backlash for its initial reopening plan, which did not include making masks mandatory out of fear of "political controversy." The popular theater chain debuted its “AMC Safe & Clean” policy on Friday, designed to allow for a safe reopening for its customers after shutting down theaters in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the initial plan did not make the use of masks mandatory despite numerous health experts saying they're an essential step to curtail the spread of COVID-19. However, after some intense public outcry, AMC reversed its decision later in the day.

As businesses start to reopen Monday in Miami-Dade County, indoor movie theaters are one place you won’t be able to go for a while. But an old-fashioned movie-going option is coming soon to North Miami: a drive-in theater outside Dezerland Park, the largest indoor theme park in the region which has been closed since mid-March due to COVID-19. The city of North Miami issued a permit last week to let the park host drive-in movie nights every Friday through July 3. Michael Pizzi, an attorney for Dezerland, said he worked with city officials to make sure the site will be safe.

For the adults in the house, trying to do their own jobs while helping children with class work has become one of the most trying aspects of the pandemic. Daniel Levin’s son, Linus, 7, was supposed to be doing math. Instead, he pretended to take a shower in the living room, rubbing a dry eraser under his arms like a bar of soap, which upset his 5-year-old sister, distracting her from her coloring. As much as he tried, Mr. Levin, who lives in Brooklyn, could not get Linus to finish the math. His hopes for the reading assignment were not high, either.

WASHINGTON — Citing growing worries about high gasoline prices, Democratic leaders announced an effort Thursday to give the Federal Trade Commission increased authority to crack down on companies that engage in price gouging. In doing so, they downplayed the possibility of other options such as a federal gas tax holiday or offering oil companies more government incentives to increase production. Instead, they said the FTC needs more tools, including stiffer fines and penalties and a team of dedicated experts to monitor markets and go after price gouging. With voters concerned about the growing toll of inflation, Democrats again signaled their intention

When Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently unveiled his “six pillar plan” for dealing with the crisis on our southern border, he certainly didn’t mention this truly awful idea. During his recent testimony before Congress, Mayorkas slipped in one option that Joe Biden is reportedly considering. In order to provide better care for the tens of thousands of illegal aliens streaming across the border, the White House is looking at the possibility of diverting funding from the Veterans Administration for that situation. Additionally, some of the doctors and nurses tasked with caring for our veterans could be reassigned to providing care for the illegals.

A man cops say is Guerrero was then filmed brutally-attacking his victim while wearing knuckle-dusters while his posse jumped on the man's car and stole it. The van driver made no attempt to fight back.
