What do Russian collusion, Hunter Biden's laptop, and Covid-19 vaccine mandates all have in common? They are all misinformation spread by the American propaganda media.
The very young often fantasize that they will perform some great accomplishment that benefits humankind when they get older.
A field that offers that kind of personal reward is journalism, having over 6,500 individuals employed in the United States. Many enter journalism knowing that the financial rewards may not be as attractive as other vocations, but the impact on society can be significant.

Not as long as journalists betray their humanity. It is NOT important whether a journalist favors a liberal or conservative bent, We all have some personal tendency towards one viewpoint or another. It is how we ALL see the world. Since only God clearly sees both sides of every question, as long as a writer acknowledges personal limitations and faces up squarely to their own inherent bias, then there is hope. It is when arrogance supersedes honest reflection and deludes a journalist into believing they have a lock on truth that they violate not just journalism ethical standards but forget that lying is the same as hiding the truth and that Hell is not simply a state of mind but rather an actual destination where they may be trapped forever.

The same question could be asked of the Teaching Profession.....answer to both is NO! Things have simply gone too far down the rabbit hole and there is no way out.

Any journalist that thinks they can help “change the world” should be fired. Let them go into social work.

Journalists? NO, they're nothing but professional LIARS. You can tell they're professional liars because they can say/write the most ridiculous things, especially about this demented fool in the WH with a straight face. They're only fooling the most stupid among us.

I think little to no honorable journalism is done by the legacy media. There may be some honor in the journalism done elsewhere, but the media in the USA don't realize that those internet sites are actually doing real journalism.

Journalism is not a profession, has no professional standards, or enforcement. Anyone can call themselves a journalist. Journalism has been replaced with propaganda, emotion, and feelings replacing objective fact gathering and reporting.

Journalists we're once the "fourth estate".
Now they are the "fifth column" otherwise known as subversive traitors.
They surrendered their souls in Operation Mockingbird and have never looked back.
I wish they were worthless, but in reality they poison is every day.

It is, for Peter Doocey. The kid knows his business, absolutely effective in an unfriendly environment. Maybe CNN will try to buy him away from Fox. I hope he turns them down. He deserves an Emmy, plus a Pulitzer, but probably will get neither.
Jennifer Griffin, unfortunately, is still at Fox, and is saying idiotic things. Too bad. Take her,, MSNBC. Take her, CNN.

Journalist falls in to the same category as Lawyer and Politician
We have an over abundance longing for attention and relevance and most are willing to do anything which might advance their fame and career.

Journalism is dead. It has been replaced with propagandists. That is what rises to the top in today's journalism. They all have an angle they are playing. They all lie. They cannot be trusted. They should not be watched or followed.

Actually, #12, journalists have a code of ethics promulgated by the Society of Professional Journalists (Sigma Delta Chi). The code's first principle is, "Ethical journalism should be accurate and fair. Journalists should be honest and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information." Now, that's a laugh, whether watching local news or reading the NYT/WAPO or other media.
Over 100 years ago, William Randoph Hearst built an empire using sensationalism, "yellow journalism". Newspapers are today a dying breed. Television needs visuals and hyperbole to draw eyeballs. The 'Net publishers need even more to draw attention to themselves. And so we have what we have.
Did you know you can lease eight television sub-channels from a Dallas station for $25,000 a month? Imagine what some media "mogul" could do with that? #5 market in the USA. And where are those complaining about "liberal media" with their checkbooks? That's chump change. Perhaps a GoFundMe appeal...

Journalism never was honorable, well over 100 years ago the phrase "yellow journalism" was coined and it wasn't a compliment. Hearst and Pulitzer were successful at selling sleaze and lies, same is true of the journalists who have followed.

Not without a complete and total wiping of the playing field. Then start cleaning out the propaganda sites known as journalism schools. Total and complete reset.
