President Joe Biden will nominate federal Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on Friday to replace Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, which would make her the first black woman on the high court's bench should she be confirmed by the Senate.
Breyer announced his retirement last month after 28 years on the Supreme Court, effective when the current term ends this summer. That paved the way for Biden to fulfill his 2020 campaign promise of nominating a black woman as a Supreme Court justice.

Another affirmative action pick who was shepherded through Harvard Law without having to do anything, just like Obama. She’s been overturned a number of times already. Here we go again.
Time for the Republicans to grow some ‘nads and refuse to vote for her.

Ukraine is going to be disappeared like afghanistan. The Gullibles will be directed towards the first black female justice without a penis who can- biologically speaking- bear children absent a protective abortion.
Like afghanistan and Ukraine we too are being buried.
The Gullibles are happy. They’ll be even happier when they can hate Trump even more!!!!

What liberals fail to understand but many black people do is that the great flaw with affirmative action is that even when a highly qualified black person gets a job they are still under a cloud of suspicion that it was not because they were highly qualified but because they were black. Biden set that in place when he announced he would appoint only a black woman to the Supreme Court. If he had just shut up, whoever he appointed might have been more fairly judged on their qualifications.
Of course if a black CONSERVATIVE gets a high position it's because they aren't REALLY black or they are an Uncle Tom.

Are ya sure she hates America enough? After all biden wants to be sure that American citizens are given the least amount of concern. Especially if they are white. Even though HE is white the rest of us must be punished for being white. Because anyone other than black must be of primary importance. No need to worry because soon white will be a minority. Will we be allowed to survive? We must first ask permission. CEO's want to have more minorities but they are never willing to be the first to leave. Elites always win.

The United States has prayed and worked for over a century to eliminate racism. And here we have a "president" who selects a woman of a minority race for possible supreme court justice.
The selection runs afoul of efforts to establish equality.

Doesn't it feel good to be enlightened? We are so sophisticated! Who thinks this is the best person for the job? Lololololol! When our government does stupid stuff like this, it is obvious we are not paying attention to things that matter most. This stupidity will bite us. That's what stupidity does.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, as amended, protects employees and job applicants from employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin.
If the Repubs in Senate had spines, they would ask a federal court to block any nominee who is selected on the basis of race and gender. Such blatant discrimination in hiring is against several specific federal laws, and any nominee so chosen should be challenged on the violation of these laws. Won’t stop this candidate but it will at least force Biden’s DoJ to justify Biden’s hypocrisy in not equally applying US laws.

Isn't ironic that the man who treated the second Black person to serve on the SCOTUS like a piece of dirt on his shoes gets to pick another Black person for the court. Justice Clarence Thomas is a highly qualified judge who was treated terribly by the democrats lead by FJB. The media back then was and still is all in for the democrats and I remember their reporting about Thomas. I don't expect the Republicans to act like the fools from the other party did back in the 90s. I do however hope that they don't let Ms. Jackson just skate through her confirmation.

She was born Ketanji Onyika Brown,
There doesn’t seem to be an origin for Ketanji. Onyika is of Igbo origin, but as a surname. There are masses of “black" baby names at baby naming sites on the internet.
These names must sound more interesting to them.

Why so many black mothers insist on naming their kids with such ridiculous names is beyond me. These kids are then saddled with these non-African names which to a certain extent could impede their progress later on in life. These non-names could reduce the confidence people might have in a person no matter how intelligent or competent they may be especially in a professional setting.

Look on the bright side; he merely said he promised to ''nominate'' her. He can't decide how everyone will vote. The Obamaphiles will do as they have always done without being told. But there are many others whose minds #44 does NOT control.
