The White House Christmas decorations include six stockings—one for each of the Biden grandchildren—hanging over the fireplace. But Joe Biden actually has seven grandkids. “The decorated State Dining Room celebrated the ‘Gift of Family’ the White House said, and the six stockings hanging over the fireplace were for Naomi, 27, Finnegan, 21, Maisy, 20, Natalie, 17, and Robert Hunter Biden II, 15, and little Beau, 1, according to the ‘Today’ show,” reports the New York Post. But, Biden’s 3-year-old granddaughter, Navy Jones Roberts, did not get a stocking. Navy is the illegitimate daughter of Joe’s crack-smoking artist son Hunter Biden

GREELEY, Colo. — A Walmart store in Colorado was evacuated after a shoplifter deployed bear spray against several employees, police said Sunday. Officers responded to the Greeley Wal-Mart Sunday afternoon after receiving multiple reports about bear spray being deployed. Workers had tried to detain a male shoplifter but he allegedly assaulted them, spayed them with the bear spray and then fled in a vehicle prior to the arrival of police. Emergency crews treated at least five people for exposure to bear spray, which can painfully irritate a person’s eyes, skin and lungs. The store was evacuated as a safety precaution

WASHINGTON — As Stacey Abrams builds her second gubernatorial campaign in four years, she is looking at a Georgia electorate that is far larger, younger and less white than the one that handed her a narrow defeat last time around, according to an analysis her aides provided exclusively to NBC News. That's one reason Abrams is confident that the result will be different this time, despite a national political wind that has shifted to Republicans' backs following the election of Joe Biden to the presidency in 2020 and Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock to the Senate in January. BRUSSELS -- Belgian police used water cannon and tear gas Sunday to disperse some rowdy protesters in Brussels after most demonstrators marched peacefully to protest tightened COVID-19 restrictions that aim to counter a surge of coronavirus infections. Thousands came to reject the new measures announced Friday, the third week in a row that the government has tightened its rules as an avalanche of new cases strains the country’s health services, depriving people with other life-threatening diseases of treatment. Shouting “Freedom! Freedom!” and carrying banners that said, “United for our freedom, rights and our children,” protesters marched to the European Union

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) assembled a Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) earlier this week to address a permanent indoor mask mandate in the state. Oregon is one of a few states that still retain one nearly two years into the pandemic. The committee included several community stakeholders, including representatives from the hospitality industry, the business sector, and faith communities, according to local ABC affiliate KATU. Dr. Paul Cieslak, the medical director for communicable diseases and immunizations with OHA, explained to KATU that OHA's potential "permanent" indoor mask mandate is not necessarily permanent because it can be repealed. "Permanent means indefinite.

U.S. officials believe Russia is planning a multi-front military invasion of Ukraine, involving as many as 175,000 troops, as soon as early 2022, Fox News has confirmed. The U.S. is taking recent signaling from the Kremlin very seriously, and does not consider the matter a bluff, a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News. Russia already has about 100,000 troops stationed along its border with Ukraine, the defense official said. When asked about the report Friday, President Biden vowed the U.S. would make it "very, very difficult" for Russian President Vladimir Putin to carry out the plan. "We’ve been aware

Not all relationships end in “happily ever after,” and birds are no exception. While more than 90 percent of bird species form monogamous couples, many of these will end in divorce. The reasons for splitting up are as varied in birds as they are in humans, and often revolve around things like poor compatibility or slacking off by one partner. However, new research has found a surprising cause of divorce: climate change. Like many seabirds, black-browed albatrosses form monogamous pairs that can last for the entirety of their 70-year lifespans. However, just under 4 percent of these couples will separate

The U.S. economy created far fewer jobs than expected in November, before a new Covid threat created a scare that growth could slow into the winter, the Labor Department reported Friday. Nonfarm payrolls increased by just 210,000 for the month, though the unemployment rate fell sharply to 4.2% from 4.6%, even though the labor force participation rate increased for the month to 61.8%, its highest level since March 2020. The Dow Jones estimate was for 573,000 new jobs and a jobless level of 4.5% for an economy beset by a chronic labor shortage. A more encompassing measure of unemployment that

WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden wants to take a victory lap on the infrastructure deal he signed into law last month and to pitch Americans on his social and climate spending bill working its way through Congress, but the coronavirus has other plans. The president was elected on the promise of bring the pandemic to an end, but fears over the global spread of the omicron variant prove the shadow of COVID-19 may loom larger than the administration anticipated. Much like this summer, when the delta variant ripped across the country and undercut the White House's celebration in the pandemic fight

DENVER — The union representing more than 2,000 RTD employees didn't hold back when expressing frustration and outrage over the conditions at Denver's Union Station. "It’s a hellhole. It is," said Lance Longenbohn, president of the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 1001. "It’s not safe for the public. It’s not safe for the employees. It’s getting worse." Longebohn doesn't want to take credit for the phrase "hellhole," saying that's how an employee described the current environment. He says he has been fielding complaints from drivers and is concerned about their safety. "They actually said to me it’s a good day if

Administrators at Stanford sent an urgent email to the university staff and students on Monday, reassuring them that two ropes found on a tree that “resembled nooses” would be thoroughly investigated since nooses are “a potent symbol of anti-Black racism.” But the administrators added they didn’t know if the ropes, which were estimated to have been there for almost two years, were actually nooses or “part of an abandoned swing or rope ladder.” A copy of the email was provided to the Washington Examiner and was sent by Dean of Students Mona Hicks as well as Vice Provost for Institutional
