Three police officers were denied service at a San Francisco restaurant because staff "felt uncomfortable" that they were armed.
"Three armed and uniformed San Francisco police officers came in to dine at Hilda and Jesse" on Union Street on Friday, the restaurant said in a post on its Instagram page.
"Shortly after seating them, our staff felt uncomfortable with the presence of their multiple weapons. We then politely asked them to leave."

I'd recommend that, when robbed, expect a significant delay when they call 911.

FTA: "Sillcocks added that the officers were welcome to return to the restaurant, as long as they came without their weapons."
The police can do what they want, but It would be a cold day in the nether world before I ever set foot in that restaurant again. I'd starve first.

So woke. Some child on the staff just had to virtue signal and management gives in? LOL, pathetic. I guess it's all part of the Brave New World ambiance.

Very sad. They deserve the devastation they are experiencing. They voted for it. They support it still. When the rioters and looters and criminals come after you do not come whining to me. I could not care less about you or what you have chosen. When you are robbed or harmed do not come complaining to us. You wanted it. So be it.

Any sane person would feel safer with three armed police officers in the restaurant especially considering the violent s******e that SF has become.

Hey, folks, this is a great place to rob etc. Just don't bring a gun. I guess other weapons are permitted.
I work at a big box retail store. An armored car driver comes in to the store once a week for pickup/delivery/etc. He wears a small gun. No big deal.

Next time this joint has an emergency, tell them you'll get their as soon as possible. We're very busy saving lives and protecting properties. Maybe call a social worker to negotiate the problem. What is wrong with the people in that city? They are total wackos. No charges for shop lifters, no bail for criminals, homeless everywhere no problem. Armed police officers come in to get something to eat the workers are afraid and un comfortable. Big problem. The moon bats have taken over. Just another reason to not visit California.

Typical "pudding for brains" liberals. I did encounter this in SF some 20 years ago, but that was a different matter involving AMEX Travelers Cheques with vendors. I won't go into that, but this thinking is prevalent in SF. That's why the city has turned into a s******e. It is not going to change.

The people running and working in that San Francisco restaurant are obviously existing in an alternate universe then the rest of the world. Clearly in that city, the inmates have taken over the asylum! If a mass of thieves show up tomorrow to rob their restaurant and assault the people there, who are they going to call? Ghost Busters!

The 'Staff' was afraid the mobs might think they support the police. they might get trashed/mugged in a BLM riot. After all in Demon Land, police aren't allowed to protect anyone.

That’d be san SCATfrisco.
No doubt those officers were very careful to not dirty their shoes with adam schiff or get jabbed with an aids-infested junkie’s needle as they deserted this abode of the Helpless, Hopeless Precious Widdle Snowflakes.

I had an office there once. When I think of the people there I remember Jack Nicholson in "As good as it gets" when asked how he writes women so well - he replied "I think of a man, then I remove reason and accountability".
That is what I think of now when I think about the people living in those big coastal urban areas. Especially when expecting any understanding of cause and effect. Take a look at the recent pictures of Union Square. But none of those nasty policeman with their scary guns are welcome.
Idiocracy was prophetic.

I had a client in Florence, AZ who owned a Mexican restaurant and wanted an addition designed using traditional adobe. We had a lunch meeting along with a room full of guards from the federal prison who were all armed having a nice lunch. I never felt safer in my life...oh, and my lunch was free!

Sorry cops, but I would think twice about hustling to that place of business if they should call into 911 for help. No reason that you can't send those social workers instead that they want, right?

Next time armed robbers come into your restaurant, let us know how uncomfortable you feel. Especially when your 911 call goes to a social worker.

How things have changed. The hoplophobes used to say ''only the police and military should be allowed to have guns." Now they want the cops disarmed and only the criminals to have guns. SFPD would never consider it, but this restaurant and the owners should be excluded from police protection; next robbery or disturbance police service will just be ''denied''. Besides, why would the police even want to eat there? Check out Hilde and Jesse's website $45 brunch tasting menu. Avocado toast, salati, kaluga caviar, eggplant escabeche, kombucha lavender lemonade.
