For nearly a year the Biden “presidency” -- whoever they are -- has subjected the United States to a destructive revolutionary agenda of unprecedented scope and virulence, all of it arising out of an irrational civilizational death wish for which there is no historical parallel.
No more than a small minority of Americans knowingly voted for this.(snip) the only question worth asking is how, if at all, a counterrevolution of sanity can be mounted and succeed.
Surprisingly, there is real hope. That hope lies in two stubborn centers of resistance that remain: nearly 50% of the American electorate, judging by the 2016 and 2020 elections; and the Republican Party.

A wake-up call if there ever was. We’re standing at a precipice of the fall of our great country. Conservatives and Republicans are the only ones willing to fight for it. The left works 24/7 against us to pursue it’s ruination.

Hogwash! The Republican Party is running away from the Counterrevolution faster than you can say, "Let's go Brandon!" We have damn few representatives that are on the side of the people, and as long as China Mitch and Pretty-boy McCarthy steer the congressional votes they will remain neutered. I'm tired of pulling knives out of my back. I'm off the reservation and going rogue. Kiss my grits. FJB and FGOP.

It appears that at least some Republicans are aware and are fighting back. However, there are Republicans that believe in Neville Chamberlain type appeasement. Declaring "peace in our time" does not make it so.

I wonder how many of the Republicans in congress have been compromised and are being blackmailed/controlled. Almost no one has spoken out against the theft of the presidential election or tried to help Trump fight the blatant fraud. Conversely, most were traitors, like Sen Toomey (R-PA) who made a statement THE DAY AFTER the election, stating there were no signs of voter fraud in PA, this after a 700,000 vote lead vanished overnight. Clearly, he was ordered to do this. And now Dr. Oz from NJ wants to replace Toomey. I suspect the deep state "recruited" the celebrity doctor.
And now we are learning the CIA covered up child sex crimes by its employees. This after an FBI agent, David Harris, was arrested last summer in New Orleans and charged with numerous child sex crimes, including rape. I wonder if he had many "buddies" in the FBI. And the Maxwell trail is being censored by the media (except some lies about Trump), and lying Comey's daughter is a lead prosecutor in a trail being overseen by an Obama judge.
I pray someday the truth comes out about these elites and what I believe is the major story underlying so much of the corruption - child sex-trafficking. Maxell and Epstein were not the ones on that diabolical island.

If it's the Republicans who are going to lead it, we're going to have to do better than Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy.

Nobody gets a lie past TQ (#3). Despite all of the political warnings concerning the formation of a third party, it just might happen in the near future. Democrats are failing faster than the rollout of the Ford Edsel but republicans are using the same blueprints. It seems that the only people running for office now are those who were in the bottom quarter of their Social Justice Studies courses and those leading the parties are way past their sell-by dates.

The GOP is no different than the democrat party. Believing and hoping that the GOP will save America is foolish. They will not! Only the people (citizens) of America can save this country. To submit fealty to a party be it Republican or Conservatism is the first step in giving up your individual rights and freedom because you have given your power not to a person but to a committee whose interests are far removed from your own. What we see today is the result of Democracy and this result has been known to be inevitable since Plato and by the Founders of the United States. America has lost its will, courage, values, and mind. Hope is a palliative administered by con men.

There is the bigger picture here and it is the eternal battle between good and evil.
God wants his children to achieve goodness, and his arch enemy, Satan, wants to destroy humanity.
America is the greatest nation of the world with guarantees of life, liberty, and happiness, and the first nation with freedom of religion. Satan's minions have nearly destroyed us and the only hope now is for Americans to fight the evil surrounding us in a counter revolution to ensure individual freedom and to destroy the forced existence they are about to impose upon us. This article outlines very well what our response must be to this great tragedy now imposed upon us all. The darkness now is everywhere.

I wouldn't count on republicans to do anything for 'we the people'. When they all sat silent letting the 2020 election be stolen with a demented low IQ idiot placed in charged it became pathetic. We have no government just a cabal of nitwits wearing masks and parading around like champions. Pelosi along with her crew should have left all the fencing and cement barriers in place for all I care Washington is a wasteland to me. Yes, there are patriot revolutionist out here in nowhere land but that ballot box is hardly the answer anymore not as long as Dominion machines and paper ballots exist. We are going to lose again as republicans so why not go third party it's worth a try. There are two Americas so why not squeeze the undesirable rats of both parties out of 'red states'. We have to have ownership of something if it's not Washington. FR

Whoops. That post was meant for another article. Sorry.
As to this one: FTA: Mention of the Republican Party may have caused a few groans from the readership, and I sympathize. The Republican Party may not be much, but, institutionally, it’s all we’ve got. Every other major American institution has either signed on for the revolution or completely acquiesced to it.
I agree.

Relying on the Republican party for a counterrevolution is a lost cause. They sided with the Democrats when they stole the 2020 presidential election. They sided with the Democrats on January 6 when they rolled out their fake 'insurrection', and murdered unarmed protestors. What will these people do next to hold on to power? Electing Republicans is meaningless if they side with the Democrats, and that is what most of them will do. Washington has that much influence.
The Democrats and the people behind them indeed have our country on a suicidal path. If the Republicans had their act together they would provide a sensible alternative to the Democrats, but they don't.
We can try to vote them out of office. Maybe they would wise up, but that is doubtful. Maybe the country would turn around. Maybe Washington would take away open honest elections entirely.

I tried to write online to the republican national committee and to my surprise they only communicate they YOUTWITFACE of which I don’t participate. I then took my sharp tongue and scolded my local republic hq and immediately received back 2 responses with an invitation to attend the next meeting and an acknowledgement of yes, we are also disappointed with congress. Please be involved in your local if you can, I have been truly negligent..

Rely on the Pubbies? BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Now that's a real knee-slapper!
The only thing we can "rely on" from those spineless jellyfish - - is that they'll find themselves nice, comfortable nests in the deep weeds.
As bad as the Pubbies have been - - they'll be even worse after next year - - because we'll no longer have Fightin' Roy Blunt as our champion.

Republican Party will save us? Consider two names: Mitt Romney, Lindsay Graham. There are many other spineless grifters like them, who talk a good fight (e.g., Miss Lindsay), but collapse when the time comes to vote in the United States Senate. There are a mere handful in the Senate who have not accepted illegal cash bribes ("donations") from nefarious American criminal enterprises (e.g., Google, Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, Solyndra, Soros, Terry McAuliffe's "MyCar" defunct electric car company, numerous labor unions) or from underhanded foreign enterprises and governments (e.g., China, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia). Nancy Pelosi may be despised by the Republican electorate, but she is their model for unethical self-dealing, with a husband who invests based upon her insider trading information, until the couple is now worth upwards of $110,000,000. The CIA and the FBI hold dirt on all Senators and Congresspersons as well as some justices of the Supreme Court, from multiple sources.

I cannot form a picture of the placid Mitch McConnell leading any revolution, or the strip MTG of committee assignments McCarthy doing anything but accepting Pelosi's actions, no matter how outrageous. Pelosi took over McCarthy's job and appoint the Republican members of the Jan 6 committee, and McCarthy did nothing. McCarthy could have shut the Congress down, and he should have, but he has no fight in him. The Republican Party is 50% Democrats, i.e., Rino's. Until the Rino's are purged, no counter revolutions are happening. We actually do have a third party in Congress, the House Freedom Caucus. Freedom Caucuses can be formed now, and require no third party. Republicans have to face the reality that the Democrats are willing to use force and ignore the law, and are doing so, and the Republicans are not, which means Republicans can never win. The Republicans have to use force to restore respect for the law and our constitutional republic, or we will not have one.

Spineless RINOs always stand in the way. John McCain, Paul Ryan, Elizabeth Chaney...the list goes on and on. Our country might have some hope of there were a few DINOs. I know of only one or two, in the entire country.

One of the best, clearest expositions of the problem that I have seen in a long time.
I hope we can find a non-violent way back, but the extreme left may absolutely insist on violence to recover our country. I hope it can be avoided....although Portland and other big, insane cities, run by extremist leftists are already bathed in violence for years now.
Don't give up the fight, but never doubt that it may require more than voting, MUCH more.

If Freedom is ever to be restored, the GOP must be cleared out of the way. The Republican PArty is running interference for the Totalitarian Sociakists. The GOP co-opts and side-tracks efforts to get at the socialists.
Stop voting for Republicans.

The frustration expressed by many of these comments shows why we need to de-elect Trump. He has the skills, temperament, and moral justification to do what needs to be done... raise hell and purge the corrupto-crats! The average Republican politician doesn't have the stomach to do more than "try to get along" with the crooks, and the average Democrat IS one!!

As long as Cocaine, China Mitch and that IQ deprived moron Kevin McCarthy are in "leadership" positions the republican party (I have stopped capitalizing republican as I have done with democrat) will never, EVER represent the people OR save the country. Mr. Peterson, F...Kevin McCarthy just voted with 80 other republican morons to establish a totalitarian Orwellian data bank to track "we the people" and our vaccination status. Are you kidding me? 80 republicans and the leadership think this is an okay thing to do and Peterson believes the republican party will save America? Hey Peterson, you weren't listening if you just heard a groan from we suckers out here when you mentioned the republican party. That was a LOUD, PIERCING SCREAM, saying NO WAY. Without Trump we are doomed.
