On Friday, the attorney for Kelly Meggs, one of the prisoners being held without bail for events on January 6, filed a notice informing the United States District Court for the District of Columbia of a report that guards had negligently or intentionally disbursed a toxic substance in such a way that prisoners were inundated with it, resulting in several being evacuated on stretchers. Meggs’s lawyer also mentioned the dire conditions in the jail and requested, that the court release on bail those arrested in connection with events on January 6.

Congress and the Senate have their own Gitmo, the DC Jail, where 1/6 prisoners are held. Can anyone trust this government anymore? when it shows such disregard for its citizens. This government must envy the Chicom treatment of the Uighurs by the way it is acting. A really Fubar'd state of affairs.

When I read articles on this subject my heart breaks. How could this happen in our beloved country? How could our own citizens be persecuted this way on trumped up charges brought by partisan hacks? The the most damning question is where are Republicans on this? They are the real poltroons! The stench of cowardice must be overwhelming when you get near them, which, of course, the great unwashed masses rarely do. They sit in their high perches looking over their domaine never giving a thought that men are being treated in a manner they could never even imagine. Their soft lily white hands are never soiled from the toil of a hard days work. The most pain they ever feel is a paper cut, if that. I have such loathing for these spineless creatures who suck the life out of our government and do very little to benefit this country. They are self-absorbed political whores with zero integrity and the ever present motivation of self-interest. They can’t be bothered to advocate on behalf of these men who are in effect political prisoners. Their treatment while incarcerated is an act so heinous that it should lead the nightly news and every social media platform. Our political class has failed us. One party has gone turned to the dark side. Law and order mean nothing to them as long as they get their way. Democrats are liars, cheats, and so corrupt and depraved that it would make the Borgia’s blush. Their lust for power and control is destroying this nation. They know it and they welcome it. Republicans on the other hand, are so spineless that they fail in every aspect when it comes to protecting and defending the Constitution. Their oaths mean nothing as long as they can benefit monetarily and retain the prestige of their office. Which is worse? The party who is destroying us or the party that is allowing it if not complicit in the destruction?
It has been said that tyranny is when the people fear the government. Freedom is when the government fears the people. I believe it’s time the tables were turned. These destroyers and traitors must learn that this government is by, for, and of the people. Parents like the ones who showed up and voiced their outrage at those school board meetings puts the fear of God into their black hearts. We possess something they can never achieve, numbers, a love for this country and unwillingness to submit to a political class that is hell bent on destroying us. I cannot believe we have taken as much as we have. It is clear to anyone with a brain that this administration is at war with we the people. I cannot believe a bunch of pasty, weak, dimwits who are so offended by everything under the sun have the power to make us cower like children. We have to find the courage of our forefathers or we will be forever slaves to a corrupt government that I do not even recognize anymore.

It's become a cliche at this point, but really, think about it. Imagine if these were BLM/AntiFa rioters who were being put in solitary and gassed, etc. There would be a segment on 60 Minutes every week, and there would be brand new riots with the media applauding.

This is absolutely outrageous! Those people shouldn't even be in jail, much less going through torture. On American soil. Where's the Gitmo-type outrage? Where are their families? Where are their state reps who luxuriate right there in Washington? Where are the lawyers in the House and Senate? Lindsey? Gohmert? Almost all of them need to be tarred and feathered for doing nothing about this. Citizens need to get over having electeds who represent US; those days are gone. We're supporting lavish lifestyles, wealth building careers, and wanna be dictators. That's it!

I truly believe these Prisoners, who have been subjected to this kind of hatred by Prison Guards, are going to come out of this without a Jail Sentence and as Millionaires! They might have to wait until 2024, when we have a Republican President, to actually be allowed to Sue the Government and all Others who have been involved in keeping these AMERICANS in a Prison without even a TRIAL. But, when the time comes, THEY will win and the Government will be forced to pay, BIGLEY!

The treatment of these people is outrageous for many reasons. These gestapo goons are treating prisoners in ways that this country would not have permitted for the past two hundred years. All because they tried to right a wrong, the election stolen from Donald Trump and awarded to a brain-dead head of cabbage. This is the type of behavior that causes violent revolutions. There are so many simultaneous outrages going on in Washington that is hard to focus on any individual one but people are going to pay. This is no longer America.

Held ten months without charges or bail. They are political prisoners. Where the he!! are the Republicans? It is clear this place needs more oversight. Actually it has plenty of oversight which probably means both parties are OK with what is going on. This jail should be bulldozed.
if this really happened, the prison should have documented it. If inmates were removed by stretcher that would also be documented. Otherwise the prison is covering up their actions.

The judges in whatever district that includes DC should be disbarred immediately for allowing this Soviet style imprisonment to go on. Now we find the guards are maybe teargassing the prisoners? The arrest, illegal detention of and the conditions that these political prisoners are being subjected to, is the most important thing that is happening in this country today. Increases in inflation, taxes, supply chains, all pale in comparison. The only issue that comes close to this is the mandate for forced vaccinations and masks. Once the government empowers itself to physically attack you, which is exactly what it is doing, all bets are off. We have never seen anything like this in our lifetime and I would submit in our country's history. Never.
Greg Kelly is the only one that has been keeping these prisoners' story alive. Last week he interviewed several of these guys and their lawyers. He talks about this every night. And thank you Marjorie Taylor Green AND Louis Gohmert. The only two Republicans that have the guts to confront this corrupt government. Republicans make me want to vomit. I get physically ill when I think about how useless and what cowards they are. Even my own congressman here on the East End of Long Island has been silent about this travesty taking place each and every day. How in need we are of our beloved Rush's voice.
I cry for these poor souls and our country. Nothing is more important than the lives of these people because everyone of them is us. When they get gassed, we get gassed. When are beaten, we are beaten. When they are imprisoned, we are imprisoned. What can we do about this? Perhaps if everyone of us called our congressmen and senators (my senators Schumer and Gillibrand are useless) perhaps we can bring light on this and start some kind of movement? We cannot forget them. We must do something!

These monster jailers gassed them all because THEY WOULDN'T WEAR A MASK. (24/7 according to the report). What is it going to take for the J6 to be released? Whatever "crime" they committed has already been paid for in spades. But personally, don't think they did any crime--see short cop waving people into the Capitol.
This from an EVIL OBAMA/BIDEN REGIME. Call your legislators, House and Senate. Flood the switchboards with calls demanding action! 1-202-224-3121, U.S. Capitol Switchboard. Call every day until these prisoners are released!

Are there no high powered conservative lawyers willing to fight on behalf of these people? It seems to me the legal representation for these prisoners has been weak. Where is the ACLJ, Jay Sekulow's organization, considered one of the most powerful groups in the nation? Where is the Heritage Foundation and the many other powerful conservative organizations? And where is conservative media? You're right #31 Greg Kelly is the only media person trying to bring attention to the plight of these political prisoners. I realize Tucker Carlson has done a 3 part series for Fox Nation on the subject. I have not watched it but I will. I also don't think it's about these political prisoners. We also need more members of Congress to step up. I won't hold my breath.

I say it all the time that this could be anyone of us! Oh, yes.
I've been to Washington, D.C. dozens of times and very well could have been walking by when the "insurgency" took place. Just walking by minding my own business and then I see a crowd that looked like it was going to a Mummers Parade and the police were just waving them into the Capitol building! By golly I might have joined the fun! And that would have been it for me ... I'd be rotting in a cell right now.
The FBI/DOJ used facial recognition software and matched pictures up against the data base of the 50 state's motor vehicle departments to see what kicked up on a driver's license. That is how they caught so many so fast ... not just "friends" and neighbors turning people in.
Of course they don't use that software to look at the BLM rioters but that is where we are in the new Eastern Europe of America.

My guess is zero.
I would bet that at least 80% of the guards are black and that even the white guards there did not vote for Trump.
