Border Patrol officials say a supervisory agent from the agency’s Tucson sector has died in what is being described as a "line of duty" death. U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz said this week that Anibal "Tony" A. Perez died Nov. 5. The exact cause of death was withheld for privacy reasons. Prosecutors and defense lawyers are making their closing arguments in the criminal trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 18-year-old who is charged with homicide after fatally shooting two protesters during unrest last year in Kenosha, Wis. Rittenhouse and his lawyers have argued that he was acting in self-defense when he shot three people with his AR-15-style rifle. In a dramatic turn on the stand last week, Rittenhouse testified that he feared for his life.

Nearly a year into the Joe Biden presidency, enthusiasm has reached such a nadir that former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) has suggested the aging politician may not seek reelection come 2024. Speaking with the New York Times about the Biden administration’s efforts to bolster Vice President Kamala Harris’s approval, Dodd, who worked alongside Joe Biden in the Senate for 28 years and who served as a member of the Biden campaign vice-presidential search committee, said that the president “might not” seek reelection. “I’m hoping the president runs for re-election,” Dodd said.

A Texas man has been denied monoclonal antibody treatment for covid because he is white. Earlier this year, the Texas Health and Human Services department (HHS) made monoclonal antibody treatments available to COVID patients following its Emergency Use Authorization by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in February. The state has issued tens of thousands of monoclonal antibody treatments over the past several months, but recently, thanks to a supply shortage spurred by the Biden administration, the agency has begun segregating who can receive the treatment based solely on the color of their skin. Now, the state is only providing the treatments to “high-risk ethnicity groups,”

The prosecution in the Kyle Rittenhouse Trial is caught TAMPERING with evidence, The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial has turned into a political show trial! The late stages of Kyle Rittenhouse’s murder trial in the shooting of three men highlighted the U.S. legal system’s constant debate over forensic technologies, even fundamental ideas taken for granted outside the courtroom. Rittenhouse’s defense team challenged Kenosha County prosecutors’ attempt to introduce enlarged images taken from drone video footage. Prosecutors said the images were a clear contradiction of Rittenhouse’s earlier testimony that he had not pointed his weapon at protesters prior to killing Joseph Rosenbaum.

We want to start tonight with Joe Biden, the isolated and deeply unpopular president of the United States. At this point, pretty much no one likes Joe Biden or will admit it. The latest USA Today poll has Biden at a terrifying 38% job approval rating. Biden's been in office less than a year, and already two-thirds of voters do not want him to run again. How unpopular is Joe Biden as of tonight? Let's put it this way. He's only 10 points above the single most despised person in the United States, which is his own vice president.

There is a concerted propaganda campaign underway to condemn Kyle Rittenhouse as a white supremacist and domestic terrorist. There is no evidence for any such thing. In fact, the testimony produced this week in Rittenhouse’s trial suggests these characterizations are just plain false. That hasn’t stopped Democratic politicians and various celebrities from making the claim. Rittenhouse is accused of shooting three white protesters last year during the Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin, killing two.

WASHINGTON — Pete Buttigieg, the transportation secretary who holds the purse strings to much of President Joe Biden’s $1 trillion infrastructure package, was holding forth with reporters on its impact — the promise of more electric cars, intercity train routes, bigger airports — when a pointed question came. How would he go about building racial equity into infrastructure? The 39-year-old former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate laid out his argument that highway design can reflect racism, noting that at least $1 billion in the bill will help reconnect cities and neighborhoods that had been racially segregated or divided by road projects. CORRECTIONS*
