There are few things more disgusting than when the judicial branch joins in with a vendetta against a defendant because of the political climate.
In April, former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree murder, second-degree manslaughter, and third-degree murder in the death of George Floyd. I’m not a fan of police brutality, but what happened to Chauvin at the hands of his own department and the local judiciary was nothing short of using one man as a human sacrifice to appease the mob. The decision to keep the trial in Minneapolis in view of the existing riots

One could feel the tension at a Clark County School District board meeting as one fed-up dad spoke for a group of fourteen parents while serving a $200 million lawsuit over mask mandates. Watch: [Video]
“This is segregation based off of your own fears and your own personal interests,” the unidentified father argued. “The people in this country have had enough, and we are fighting back.”
“I have something to give you,” he then said. “Security, would you do me a favor? Would you please hand those forms to the board members? You’ve been officially served a $200 million lawsuit with six complaints and violations or multiple amendments.”

Viruses and other infectious organisms have been around since long before humans walked the planet. While many microorganisms are helpful and necessary for human survival and function, others bring disease and death. Immunity is what prevents humans from being wiped out by a particularly virulent bug.
The CDC defines immunity as “protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.”
How does one achieve immunity? As the CDC explains, there are two ways.
Natural immunity is acquired from exposure to the disease organism through infection with the actual disease.

Shortly after the ‘War Against COVID’ began, the government designated two new categories of American citizens -- the largely arbitrary classification of ‘essential’ and ‘nonessential’ workers. Firefighters and paramedics were deemed essential, for good reasons.
But now, like their colleagues on the frontline in the medical profession, these brave men and women -- once heralded as heroes -- are now scorned as villains.
In the state of California, they have gone from heroes to zeroes in the eyes of despotic Democrats, who have given them an ultimatum: get vaccinated or get fired.

In 1787, an imperial Russian governor named Grigory Potemkin constructed a pretty village facade, a theatre set, actually, that's since become known as a Potemkin Village. His aim was to fool the passing empress, Catherine the Great, into thinking all was well on her journey through war-ravaged Crimea, when in fact it was not.
It now looks like the White House has viewed that story as a how-to guide -- this time, to fool the passing voters.
According to Ed Morrissey at Hot Air:
Today's deep question: Why does Biden use a stage set instead of the White House?
The “fake set” question first came up a week ago,

Just imagine if no one knew that there has been a 'novel' COVID-19 virus 'pandemic' sweeping our nation and the world for the past 20 months or so. What if people weren't subjected to nonstop body count and 'case' tallies? What if they didn't know about the hyper-wrong, grossly inflated death projections in early 2020 from that mathematical virus model and its always-wrong author in England? What if we hadn't had a similarly accuracy-challenged little Fauci-gnome-man spreading fear and hysteria? What if the CDC hadn't illegally changed the death coding requirements in early 2020 to count anyone dying with COVID-19 as dying from COVID-19?

In the wake of Attorney General Merrick Garland’s announcement that he plans to sic the FBI on concerned parents who speak out at school board meetings against critical race theory and COVID restrictions, Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) blasted the Biden administration and said Americans should “be afraid of your government.”
“Moms at school boards are being told that they’re criminals, potential domestic terrorists, for the crime of dissent, and I think criminalizing dissent is something that we should all be appalled with,” Paul told Fox News.
Garland claimed that there has been a “disturbing trend” of teachers being threatened or harassed.

During all of 2020, and some of 2021, mainstream media rallied to place every single COVID death in the U.S. at the feet of President Donald Trump. In fact, during the final presidential debate, then-candidate Biden said, “Anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America.”
On Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” Wednesday, Laura Ingraham wondered, “Then why didn’t Biden step down today?” When Biden made that statement, the number of COVID deaths was around 220,000 in the U.S.
It turns out that according to new data from Johns Hopkins,

A recent report from CNBC indicated Americans are paying the highest prices for gas in the last seven years, and some cities have gas prices as high as $5 per gallon.
CNBC noted that Americans are paying the highest at the pump due to the steady climb the nation has been seeing over the past year.
According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), a federation of motor clubs throughout North America, the national average price on Wednesday for a gallon of gas was $3.22.
Wednesday is the highest national average since “at least” October 2014, CNBC reported, but in some instances, states are paying way more.

Some 38 California schoolchildren have been abandoned by His Fraudulency Joe Biden in Afghanistan for 36 days now.
It is a black mark on the corrupt conscience of the American media that this is not the biggest, all-consuming story in the world right now. Hell, it’s not even the biggest story at the far-left L.A. Times, which just goes to show you that the fake media are even willing to sacrifice children to protect Democrats.
The L.A. Times:
There are dozens of Sacramento-area families still in the country, according to the San Juan Unified School District. Recently, three families — including seven students — made it back to the U.S.

A report from the New York Times indicates that gun dealers in Afghanistan are selling U.S. pistols, rifles, and other weapons in their stores.
According to the Times, the items being sold also include equipment like “binoculars and night-vision goggles.”
The weapons and equipment were “originally provided to the Afghan security forces under a U.S. training and assistance program that cost American taxpayers more than $83 billion through two decades of war.” The Taliban actively sought out the U.S. weapons and equipment, for war-fighting, only to sell it “to Afghan entrepreneurs because Taliban demand has eased with the end of combat.”

During an appearance on Fox News, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) weighed in on President Joe Biden’s eroding poll numbers, particularly as Biden and Democrats on Capitol Hill are attempting to pass multi-trillion-dollar spending packages.
The Louisiana Republican described Biden as being as “popular as a fever blister.”
“President Biden has two bills that he’s pushing,” Kennedy said. “The fake infrastructure bill, which will spend $400 billion that we don’t have, and the bill to which you referred, the spending orgy reconciliation bill which, by the way, President Biden says is free. I would remind you that mice die in mouse traps because they think the cheese is free.
