President Joe Biden is ignoring that thousands of Afghans are being processed in the United States, without having finalized their applications for visas, instead touting that processing begins in third safe countries outside of Afghanistan.During a press briefing on Sunday, Biden noted that Afghans are being loaded up on planes and heading to nations like Qatar, Germany, Kuwait, and Spain for processing. An estimated 22,000, the Pentagon has said, will be resettled across the U.S.“In order to keep a steady flow of planes taking off from Kabul,

Stunning video taken during Tropical Storm Henri captured the moment a bolt of lightning struck One World Trade Center and turned the Manhattan skyline a vivid shade of purple. The clip, filmed Sunday by New York City resident Ryan Nystrom, shows lightning hitting the spire atop the skyscraper in Lower Manhattan as Henri’s outer bands whipped the five boroughs with vicious wind and rain. The tower is especially prone to lightning strikes because of its height, but it was built with a “state-of-the-art protection system” that keeps not just the building safe

How many of us have thought it? From the beginning? How many of us have said it, for at least two years, to all who would listen? And now, even worse — far worse — how many of us, on both sides of the political aisle, have seen it in action during a real crisis? How can I put this “tactfully”? The 46th president of the United States is clearly mentally unfit to lead America. It’s not even close. Joe Biden is confused. Dare I say —hell yeah, I do — delusional? He appears to be incapable of understanding the disastrous reality of the debacle on Afghanistan

While it’s easy to suggest that Juan Williams is an idiot based on the content of an op-ed he just penned on Afghanistan that The Hill published, there may be more to the story here.Liberal pundits like Williams, who plies his trade on Fox News, exist primarily to carry water for the Democratic Party and its leaders in Washington, D.C., and with President Joe Biden taking a beating for the spectacular blundering of the U.S. exit from Afghanistan, Biden and his party are desperate to redirect the narrative here.

Trenton, N.J.—New Jersey will be getting a “significant’” but so far unspecified number of Afghan refugees imminently, according to Gov. Murphy said the state would do whatever it can to help, but he said it was likely that COVID-19 screenings and vaccinations would take place elsewhere. The White House repeatedly refused to address the Taliban's August 31 deadline to get US troops out of Afghanistan on Monday, dodging questions on the subject and snapping at reporters who asked how the government planned to save the remaining Americans stuck in Kabul. The Taliban’s seizure of Afghanistan — emboldened by President Joe Biden’s senseless decision to rush U.S troops out of the country without a plan — blindsided the Afghan government, the Afghan military, and America’s allies. This reckless decision has led to bipartisan criticism in the United States and from our global allies, and ridicule by America’s adversaries.
Biden’s attempts to blame everyone but himself for this fiasco, his refusal to take press questions for nearly a week (except from sycophantic George Stephanopoulos), and his decision to hide at Camp David while these events unfolded have only intensified criticism. More than four in 10 patients hospitalised with the Delta variant in England may have been admitted for something else, MailOnline's analysis of official data suggests. Public Health England's fortnightly update on coronavirus strains circulating around the country showed 7,285 people had spent at least one night in hospital with the mutant virus by August 15.
But it admitted as many as 3,154 (43 per cent) had likely come to A&E for 'a diagnosis unrelated to Covid' and tested positive later through routine swabbing.

Marines will lose their pensions, tuition assistance, and access to the G.I. bill, along with other military benefits, if they refuse the COVID-19 vaccination, according to internal emails reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.
An Aug. 18 email from Col. Teague Pastel, a commanding officer at the Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C., told colleagues that although "vaccines are still voluntary," the military believes "they will become mandatory in the near future." The penalties for refusing the coronavirus vaccination, Pastel wrote, should be in line with others for insubordination. Those penalties include "administration separation," a demerit in the Marine's personal file, as well as the forfeiture of various retirement and financial benefits.

President Joe Biden hailed the FDA's approval of the Pfizer vaccine as the 'moment you’ve all been waiting'–as he urged Americans who have been sitting on the fence to get their vaccine shots 'today' but dodged comment on Afghanistan. It was a welcome moment of good news for an administration battered by weeks of negative headlines, from spiking cases of COVID-19 to the collapse of the Afghan government and plunging poll numbers. And Biden, speaking at the White House, portrayed it as a huge victory even though it will be of limited practical value months after the vaccination received emergency approval.

The U.S. Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt on Jan. 6 during the insurrection was cleared Monday after an internal review concluded the action may have spared the lives of lawmakers and staffers who had barricaded themselves inside the building.
"The officer’s actions were consistent with the officer’s training and (U.S. Capitol Police) policies," the agency's inquiry found. The agency declined to identify the officer.
Federal prosecutors decided in April not to pursue criminal charges in the case.
Some who supported the Capitol siege by rioters angry about the outcome of the presidential election cast Babbitt as a martyr to the conservative cause.

The Pfizer and BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine became the first Monday morning to receive full FDA approval. The two-dose immunization was initially the first to receive emergency use authorization in December of 2020.
The Biden administration, local governments, and some employers hope that the full approval means Americans who have, until now, been skeptical about receiving an unauthorized jab, will have their fears reduced and opt to receive the inoculation. The full approval is expected to lead to more businesses and institutions requiring vaccinations for employees and students.

In the November 2020 general election, whose chaotic results have been vigorously disputed, almost 15 million mail-in ballots went unaccounted for, according to a good-government group that focuses on electoral integrity.
The research brief by the Indianapolis-based Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) notes that as the nation dealt last year with the CCP virus (which causes COVID-19), various U.S. states “hastily pushed traditionally in-person voters to mail ballots while, at the same time, trying to learn how to even administer such a scenario.”

An internal fight among legislators over a forensic election audit is spilling into public after Sen. Doug Mastriano, R-Gettysburg, accused leaders in his own party of stonewalling his investigation. The senator made the comments during a Thursday interview with One America News Network that he later doubled down on in a lengthy statement posted to his social media pages the following day.

The Biden administration has moved to quickly process migrants streaming across the southern border but has not been able to speed up the processing times for Afghan interpreters and other allies who assisted in America's 20-year war effort. The White House announced last month that it will speed up asylum claim processing for migrants at the southern border, claiming in a release that they are seeking to "fair, orderly and humane" immigration system after the Trump administration policies "unjustly prevent individuals from obtaining asylum."

A Washington Post reporter has shared how British troops helped her and friends flee Afghanistan - as pressure mounts over US forces' continued refusal to leave Kabul airport.
Susannah George told of how she and the paper's Afghan staff were able to latch on to a separate evacuation led by UK troops, after spotting them and asking for help to flee.
That saw them hurriedly travel along a road to Kabul's Hamid Karzai Airport in armored cars driven by private security guards.

A Taliban spokesman warned of "consequences" if the US kept troops in Afghanistan beyond its August 31 deadline hours after President Joe Biden said he could do exactly that. In an interview with Sky News on Sunday, the Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said: "It's a red line. President Biden announced that on 31 August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that." (Snip) Taliban sources have also told Reuters that they would not extend the August 31 deadline for Western forces, adding that

We Americans focus tightly on our federal elected officials. (snip) Trump’s presidency, though, revealed how powerful these unelected people are...and how much they hate us. Exhibit A for today is General Michael Hayden, former Director of the NSA and Director of the CIA – under George W. Bush.
Hayden’s Twitter feed reveals how very deeply and profoundly this former military officer and government official hates that half (or more than half) of America that voted for Trump. Almost everything Joe Biden has touched since entering office has turned to dross. None of his blame-gaming, none of his distortions, none of his fantasies and unreality can mask that truth. The Afghan Catastrophe - Seven months ago, Afghanistan was relatively quiet—with about 10,000 vestigial NATO troops, including 2,500 Americans, anchored by the Bagram Airfield. They were able to provide air superiority for the coalition and Afghan national army. With air power, NATO forces, if and when they so wished, could have very slowly and gradually withdrawn all its remnant troops—but only after a prior departure of all American and European civilians, coalition contractors, and allied Afghans.

In his Pulitzer Prize–winning book, Guns, Germs, and Steel, geographer Jared Diamond attempts to explain why Eurasian civilizations have survived and triumphed over those lost to history. I wonder whether a future sociologist might one day sum up Western civilization's demise as the natural consequence of Guns, Germs, and Feelz, or rather, how hysterical fear-mongering over self-defense and microorganisms and a new world order based on feelings ended up dooming the West. At the end of July, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives sent a letter to Rare Breed Trigger notifying the Florida company that the ATF had classified

The Biden administration is working to ensure that $300 weekly unemployment payments from federal taxpayers continue in some form beyond their expiration date set by Congress. Lawmakers enacted weekly $300 unemployment payments and set them to expire Sept. 6 in response to joblessness during the pandemic. A political battle is expected over the payments, especially since many Republicans have argued they are contributing to elevated unemployment despite widespread job availability.

People will put up with a little absentmindedness or occasional faux pas. But when creeping senility puts lives at risk and national interests in jeopardy, that’s entirely different. (snip) Consequently, we are about to witness a genuine insurrection that will put Jan. 6, 2020, into proper perspective. Fifty years ago, journalist Gary Allen set out to write a book to prove conservative anti-communists wrong. But while researching, he realized he had not seen the "hidden picture." There indeed was a conspiracy, shielded by a narrative advanced by liberal academia and the mainstream media, both actually in the service of an elite cabal that included Rockefeller, Ford, Morgan, Rothschild, Loeb, Kennedy, and Carnegie. No longer willing to dismiss "right-wing conspiracy theorists," he titled his book, published in 1971, None Dare Call It Conspiracy.

A network of “hundreds of thousands” of people, including analysts, are using satellite imagery and other tools to help Afghan interpreters who worked for U.S. forces to evade Taliban checkpoints in Kabul and bring them to the safety of the airport.
The network’s work is necessary because the Biden administration is refusing to offer any assistance to the 20,000 interpreters and their families who are at great risk every second they remain in Afghanistan.

"For most of the past week, in the fires of the worst foreign policy crisis of his young administration, the president who won the White House on a promise of competence and compassion has had trouble demonstrating much of either.”
That’s not us saying that. This is how the New York Times described the Afghanistan debacle, which is as sure a sign as any of how much trouble President Joe Biden is in right now.
But we’d go further than the Times. Biden’s backers – and Biden himself – didn’t just

WASHINGTON – Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday confronted Secretary of State Antony Blinken for statements that President Joe Biden has made on Afghanistan, including the president's claim that al-Qaida is no longer active in the country.
During remarks on Friday, Biden said the United States no longer has any interest in keeping troops in Afghanistan because al-Qaida, which was behind the 9/11 attacks, is gone.
“What interest do we have in Afghanistan at this point with al-Qaida gone?” Biden said. "We went to Afghanistan for the express purpose of getting rid of al-Qaida in Afghanistan, as well as... getting Osama bin Laden. And we did."

The majority of Americans no longer believe President Joe Biden is competent in his role as the Commander-in-Chief, according to a CBS News poll.
Fifty-one percent of the respondents said Biden is not competent in his position as president. This is compared to only 49 percent who said he is.
Additionally, the poll found that 52 percent of the respondents did not feel the president has been focused.
The poll was taken during and after the fall of the now-Taliban-controlled Kabul, Afghanistan, when Biden botched the U.S. troops’ withdrawal from the country. With that, 53 percent of the respondents said they disagree with the way Biden withdrew the troops.

Afghanistan is on the cusp of morphing from a mere national humiliation that will constrain US foreign policy for the next generation into a military catastrophe that could compare to the fate of the British Army during its 1842 retreat from Afghanistan if we continue on our current course.
Despite the abject and total failure of every component of the US government to carry out its mission, and more than ample evidence to demonstrate that our elites and government are incompetent beyond belief, a campaign is now starting to gaslight us into believing that this is a stroke of genius by

The Biden administration was having an extremely rough time spinning their Afghanistan failure as they made the rounds on the Sunday shows. Secretary of State Antony Blinken made things exponentially worse on CBS’s Face the Nation after fill-in moderator Major Garrett got him to admit the administration was asking the Taliban for “permission” to get Americans out of the country.
Blinken’s fumble began when Garrett asking him about President Biden’s comments regarding “an agreement with the Taliban,” because “that implies we're negotiating with them.” “Does that not confer upon them already legitimacy,” Garrett fretted.
