Texas House Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Black is going door to door to round up Democrats in the Lone Star State in an effort to reach quorum so the legislature can vote on election security, according to KXAN. The House needs two-thirds of its members present to hold a vote, but Democrats have refused to show up, with nearly 60 fleeing to Washington, DC last month in a flashy display of defiance. Local law enforcement is also assisting in the search, and if they find any lawmakers they can take them into custody and bring them to the Texas House chamber.

The final report of the 2020 Census that will be used to redraw lines for congressional districts within 44 states was released by the Census Bureau on Thursday, setting the stage for redistricting battles in state legislatures around the country. The process of redrawing congressional district boundaries has the potential of changing the majority control of the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2022 midterm elections from Democrats to Republicans. Thursday’s report added demographic detail at the census tract level within each state, a more granular analysis than the 2020 Census data released in April, which offered aggregate data at the state level.

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell said President Joe Biden’s 90-day COVID origins investigation is an insult to the career intelligence officials who have been probing the virus’s origins for well over a year and will continue to do so as new information comes in.Grenell, who led the intelligence community during the early months of the pandemic from February to May 2020, said Biden’s May 26, 2021, directive to the intelligence community to “redouble their efforts” to determine the origins of the virus shows the president never paid attention to the evidence he likely received during his daily briefings.

Stephen Colbert is wrong about a lot, but his biggest mistake yet was allowing Clown News Network’s Brian Stelter onto his show this week. A recent poll indicates that the number of Americans who do not desire assistance from the federal government has risen by double digits.
The poll — carried out by Fox News — shows that Republicans are driving the 11% increase in Americans who want a less involved federal government:
Nearly half, 47 percent, say the message they would like to give the federal government is “leave me alone,” up from 36 percent a year ago. On the other side, 44 percent say they would tell the government “lend me a hand.” That’s down significantly from 57 percent who felt that way last August.

When President Joe Biden defended his decision to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan by a September 11 deadline, the president told reporters in July that it remained "highly unlikely" the Taliban would take control of the country. "The likelihood there's going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely," Biden said. "The Afghan government and leadership has to come together. They clearly have the capacity to sustain the government in place … there's not a conclusion that, in fact, they cannot defeat the Taliban."

President Biden is facing a potential foreign policy and humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan as the Taliban makes rapid gains, capturing major cities and prompting concerns over the safety of U.S. diplomatic personnel and civilians on the ground.
The Taliban took control of Kandahar and Herat on Thursday, the second- and third-largest cities in Afghanistan after Kabul, followed by Lashkar Gar on Friday. The Biden administration is sending about 3,000 troops to the country to help evacuate diplomats from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, as well as Afghans who have applied for special immigrant visas for helping the United States during the war.

Call it a "Biden pay cut." Americans' real wages are falling under President Joe Biden. On Wednesday, the Labor Department announced that inflation rose by 5.4 percent over the previous year -- the fastest pace (tied with last month) since 2008.Last Friday, it revealed that average wages only rose by 4 percent over the same timeframe. These numbers confirm what Americans already know: Their living standards are declining under President Biden as inflation swamps wage gains. The Federal Reserve and Biden administration have tried to gaslight Americans by downplaying inflation and calling it transitory. Yet consumers and small businesses in the real world are feeling its full effects.

“Still, while more severe [coronavirus] measures — such as mandating vaccines for interstate travel or changing how the federal government reimburses treatment for those who are unvaccinated and become ill with COVID-19 — have been discussed,” the AP writes, “the administration worried that they would be too polarizing for the moment.” For the time being, the White House seems content with shaming those who are unvaccinated, while demanding private companies mandate vaccinations for their employees.
For instance, Biden told churchgoers April 1, they were being ungodly if they did not become vaccinated.

"Have you or a loved one been hurt or injured by the Democrat Party?" That's the only question Republicans should run on radio and television ads from here on out. It's the same question civil litigators regularly use in late-night commercials when they're looking to add new members to class action lawsuits, but compared to asbestos poisoning, the side-effects of prescription medicines, or injuries from medical devices, the Democrats are the Grand Pooh-bahs of causing physical and emotional harm to everyday Americans.

Despite the steady drumbeat from the media, government agencies, Big Pharma and the established medical bureaucracies attesting to the safety and effectiveness of the COVID vaccines, those who remain skeptical of their trustworthiness advance a range of countervailing arguments.
The vaccines are really panaceas, essentially unreliable, innocuous or even useless.
Favorable trial results are statistically manipulated. The Pfizer math is shifty and the “per protocol” method is frankly disingenuous, constituting a violation of bioethics laws.
The vaccines are potentially harmful, yielding dangerous side-effects, aka “adverse reactions,” that are routinely underreported in passive, voluntary sites like VAERS in the U.S. and Yellow Card in the U.K.

Over the past year, perhaps no group has felt a greater impact from coronavirus lockdowns than our nation’s schoolchildren. In many ways, the widespread school shutdowns resembled a cruel social experiment with predictably disastrous results: plunging grades, rising mental health issues and, most distressingly, a surge in suicide attempts. But after the horror that was the 2020 to 2021 school year, a recent edict by the Virginia Department of Education promises to impose even more radical changes that could soon make the commonwealth’s public schools unrecognizable.

It may be 2021 but one elementary in Atlanta is acting like it’s the Jim Crow era based on the principal's policy of segregating children in classrooms based on race.
A black mother whose child attends the Mary Lin Elementary School was shocked to find out the principal implemented this policy last year. She only discovered it was happening when she asked to place her child with a teacher she thought would be a better fit.
"[The principal] said that’s not one of the Black classes, and I immediately said, ‘What does that mean?’ I was confused. I asked for more clarification. I was like, ‘We have those in the school?’

It was a small story on a local news channel’s website, one that may not have attracted much interest. “Pursuit and Standoff in Valley Village Ends Without Suspect in Custody,” read the August 8 headline from CBSN Los Angeles.
This seemed odd. How, I wondered, did the suspect give the cops the slip when he was surrounded and with a police helicopter overhead? I gave the story a click, and here it is, in its entirety:
A vehicle that nearly hit an LAPD cruiser close to the intersection of Lankershim and Burbank Boulevards led police in a pursuit and eventually a standoff at a Valley Village used car dealership.

Extended rent moratoriums and the slow distribution of billions in federal rent assistance are driving many small landlords to call it quits. “Nobody wants to become a landlord anymore,” said Diane Baird, (Snip) Mike Bodeis, president of the 450-member Port Huron Area Landlord Association, and himself the owner of 40 rental houses, told The Epoch Times, “It’s a myth that 3.6 million Americans may soon be made homeless. Two-thirds of them could be paying their rent, but are not because they choose not to. They did not choose to pay their rent or utility bills with all the stimulus money they received.

How’s masking going? If it’s doing you right, why not double your pleasure? You can. Or, you have to — according to the mayor of Philadelphia. That would be, if you haven’t taken the vaccine. And if you work for the city. As reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer, COVID cases in the city have surged. Therefore, the mayor and his associates bear robust remedies. On Wednesday, Mayor Jim Kenney and acting Health Commissioner Cheryl Bettigole laid out new restrictions. To put it colloquially — they’re somethin’ else. At a press conference, Jim bemoaned his duty: “It goes without saying that none of us want to be here discussing restrictions

An Ohio judge has ordered a man to get a COVID vaccine or face up to 18 months in prison. Judge Christopher Wagner issued the order to Brandon Rutherford, 21, at a sentencing hearing in a Hamilton County court on Wednesday. Wagner said that he must get vaccinated within 60 days as a condition of his probation for possession of fentanyl.
“I’m just a judge, not a doctor, but I think the vaccine’s a lot safer than fentanyl, which is what you had in your pocket,” Wagner said at the hearing.
“You’re going to maintain employment. You’re not going to be around a firearm.

Joe Biden is begging the Taliban to spare the U.S. embassy when they knock down the Afghan capital of Kabul and completely overrun the country, And with the fall of Kandahar, Herat, and all the other big Afghan cities, that could be any day now.
Here's the lovely story from the New York Times:
WASHINGTON — American negotiators are trying to extract assurances from the Taliban that they will not attack the U.S. Embassy in Kabul if the extremist group takes over the country’s government and ever wants to receive foreign aid, three American officials said.

When government fails to act in the interests of its citizens, it’s their duty to take action. For 20+ years, the United States has seen failure of government through unrestricted illegal immigration, one-sided trade deals, uncontrolled spending, and failed foreign policy.

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett denied an appeal from students at Indiana University to block the school’s vaccine mandate.
Barrett, who has jurisdiction over the appeals court involved in the case, denied the students request for an injunction against Indiana University’s vaccine mandate on her own without consulting other colleagues on the court and without hearing from the school.

Of all the reinventions Bob Dylan has undertaken in his long, shape-shifting career, none was more radical and jarring than his conversion to Christianity in the late 1970s. In terms of defying expectations, not even going electric can compare with going evangelical.
This was Bob Dylan after all, a Jewish-born avatar of 1960s counterculture. He could have adopted few other identities that would have felt like such a direct repudiation of everything his fans thought he represented. What happened? How did the restless mind behind “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “Like a Rolling Stone” find Jesus Christ and later release a trio of Christian rock records?

Is there anyone on the planet who does not know that the media and big tech have sought to control the COVID narrative from the outset?
Probably. Just as there are most likely people who do not know that volumes of contrary information about COVID has been suppressed, which includes valuable information about available therapeutics such as ivermectin and HCQ. (snip) Do all of the censors who are operating as if trained by the Soviets know they are part of a massive cover-up, a calculated plan to deny the American people free access to any and all information actually available and which may be valid?

It’s that time of year again, the season of headlines routinely screaming about “record” amounts of acreage burned from out-of-control wildfires caused by, of course, “climate change.” But is it true? Is global warming driving a surge in wildfires? The answer is no.
The media started again this week with the release of the United Nation’s latest dire climate change report, based on the same faulty models and filled with more apocalyptic predictions that won’t come true.

Earlier this week video was released of President Biden’s son Hunter Biden naked with a hooker complaining about Russians stealing his laptop for blackmail purposes.
Hunter Biden filmed the whole thing and kept the video on his laptop that he later abandoned at a computer repair shop in Delaware. This is a national scandal like Nothing this country has ever seen before.
Certainly, dirtbag Chris Wray and the FBI are on top of this? And yet Not One mainstream liberal outlet even ran the story!

For decades, the Democrat “death tax” has been greatly frowned upon by Republicans and the American people. Most Americans hate the concept of taxing someone’s wealth after they have died however this has not stopped Democrats from gouging money from a deceased person’s family.National Review reports that the death tax has dropped from 55% to 40% this century however it now appears that the Biden administration wants more. You heard that right: The Biden administration wants to tax you or your loved one’s dead body.

Ryan Coyne, CEO of We the People wine, had some fun with Newsmax’s Eric Bolling Tuesday over the viral ad that is blowing minds all over the internet with 11 million views and counting.“It’s a wine company catering to conservative values with what some are calling the most patriotic commercial ever,” Bolling explained before airing the aggressively American ad.(Video) In it, former President Ronald Reagan gives a speech about the love of country and the people trying to destroy it that could have been written today. Combine that with visuals that tug at Americans’ heartstrings with unbridled patriotism

Donald Trump's secretary of state has strongly criticized the White House for their tactics in Afghanistan, saying that the country would not be falling to the Taliban if Trump was in charge.Mike Pompeo warned on Thursday night that the country was turning into 'a breeding ground' for future terror attacks weeks before the 20th anniversary of 9/11.'It looks at best naïve and at worst ignorant,' he said, of the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces.'Weakness begets war, and you see what weak leadership ultimately leads to.' By Thursday night, 12 provincial capitals had fallen to the Taliban and two thirds of the country was under their control.

It doesn’t get more idiotic: “The Taliban also has to make an assessment about what they want their role to be in the international community,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said with a straight face Wednesday.Oh, and the State Department has sent diplomats to “press the Taliban to stop their military offensive and to negotiate a political settlement, which is the only path to stability and development in Afghanistan.” They’re also begging to have the US embassy in Kabul left alone, warning that future US aid is at risk — and so effectively promising that we’ll actually subsidize these barbarians.
