How’s masking going? If it’s doing you right, why not double your pleasure? You can. Or, you have to — according to the mayor of Philadelphia. That would be, if you haven’t taken the vaccine. And if you work for the city. As reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer, COVID cases in the city have surged. Therefore, the mayor and his associates bear robust remedies. On Wednesday, Mayor Jim Kenney and acting Health Commissioner Cheryl Bettigole laid out new restrictions. To put it colloquially — they’re somethin’ else. At a press conference, Jim bemoaned his duty: “It goes without saying that none of us want to be here discussing restrictions

he COVID pandemic has witnessed the exercise of state “police powers” on a scale and scope unprecedented in America’s peacetime history. Out of fear of contagion, massive amounts of private property in the form of shops, restaurants, bars, and other businesses were peremptorily seized and shuttered. The rights of landlords to collect rents and evict tenants were suspended. The ability of people to cross from one state to another was hobbled by regulations, quarantines, and delays. And most of this was accomplished by governors and mayors acting by decree, with only the most tenuous of statutory authorizations.
Initially implemented for what was to have been a brief period of medical

The “whistleblower” Mike Lindell claimed would present bombshell evidence of election fraud at the South Dakota Cyber Symposium on Monday allegedly refrained from releasing the data that would irrefutably prove the 2020 election was stolen. This came after her office was raided by the radical far-left Colorado secretary of state. Lindell, who promised to release irrefutable proof that will shock the world at 7 pm at the symposium, explained that he had to convince Tina Peters, the Mesa County Colorado Clerk and Recorder, Colorado to take the stage amid fear of further retaliation by the government after contesting the election results of her county. ” I was bringing

An executive order signed quietly by Tennessee’s Republican governor is troubling some Americans as it greenlights the National Guard and State Guard to implement quarantines and involuntary commitment of citizens “in connection with certain health care and emergency services operations,” with the governor specifically concerned about “an increase in COVID-19 cases.” Gov. Bill Lee signed Executive Order 83 on Friday “with little fanfare” according to Tennessee Stands, an influential conservative coalition. The group says it found some of the provisions in the executive order “exceptionally concerning,” including:
“Discretion to utilize National Guard and State Guard members in connection with certain health care and emergency services operations.” Telephone

Dr. Anthony Fauci has doubled down on his support for local vaccine mandates to compel the vax-skeptical to take the jab against their wishes. As the national debate over mandatory vaccines continues to rage, Democrats are doing their best to force or coerce people into being vaccinated — instead of letting it be a personal choice. During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Fauci discussed the ongoing issues with the COVID-19 pandemic, with the conversation focusing largely on the Delta variant. Media activist Chuck Todd opened by asking Fauci about the confusion in the information coming from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as to whether

The University of Wisconsin removed a controversial boulder from its Madison campus Friday after the Black Student Union and other activists objected to its description nearly 100 years ago with a racial slur. Chamberlin Rock, which rests atop Observatory Hill, is named after a 19th Century geologist and former university president, Thomas Crowder Chamberlin, whose work centered on glacial deposits, according to a bio on the university’s website. But it was a reporter’s reference to the rock in a nearly century-old Wisconsin State Journal article that prompted the push for its removal. In October 1925, the university had the boulder excavated and placed prominently atop the hill to honor Chamberlin,

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.) and other NYC officials are protesting against the recent proof of vaccination mandate issued by NYC mayor Bill de Blasio. In expression of their disagreement, they sent a letter to de Blasio, a Democrat, demanding a reversal of “this unfair directive immediately.” “This ‘vaccine passport’ directive not only forces small businesses to deny service to their customers, but it prohibits large swaths of our communities from participating in regular society,” reads the letter led by Malliotakis, the only Republican member representing NYC in Congress. The mayor announced on Tuesday that indoor dining, gyms, and entertainment venues will require attendees to show proof of vaccination, including staff members,

President Joe Biden continues promoting coronavirus vaccine mandates for American citizens, but the White House still struggles to explain why that standard is not applied to migrants crossing the Southern border. White House press secretary Jen Psaki ignored a question Thursday asking if the administration wants to apply the same vaccine standards proposed for foreign visitors to migrants released into the United States. Psaki said that “interagency working groups” are developing a plan for international travel but did not address migrants coming across the Southern border. “Given where we are today with the Delta variant, we will plan to maintain existing travel restrictions at this point,” she said.

As the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 jihad attacks draws near, nearly 1,800 people who lost loved ones on that terrible day have made it clear that one person they don’t want to see at anniversary events is Old Joe Biden. And it’s not, as you may have expected, because they don’t want commemorations to descend into a platform for yet another one of Joe’s embarrassing displays of his rapidly deteriorating mental state. NBC News reported Friday that the Dotty Puppet is not welcome at events in New York City and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where the plane on which courageous patriots foiled the jihadis went down, “unless he upholds h

Shocking video obtained by The Post shows the moment a woman with a gun walked up to another woman and shot her dead on a crowded Prospect Heights street Tuesday – before casually strolling away. The video shows a shooter wearing a purse walk up to 42-year-old Delia Johnson and shoot the unsuspecting victim in the head while she was having a conversation with some people sitting on the stoop of a building on Franklin Avenue near Prospect Place. The shooting happened at about 9:40 p.m., police sources said. After the victim drops to the ground, the shooter fires off several more shots,

There was a time when parental involvement in our kids’ education was seen as a good thing that all parents should do. We were invited to meet our kids’ teachers and even participated in class once or twice a week. This was all part of making sure our kids obtained the education our tax dollars paid for. The COVID pandemic and the moral panic following George Floyd’s death destroyed all of that. Unionized teachers advocated for closing schools and keeping them closed and started sneaking in critical race theory teachings at every level during online classes. When parents noticed and asked, they tended to get a run-around or

The Woke Folk are not finished. As I said last week, they are tearing down statues of Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Frederick Douglass. It is only a matter of time before they expand their attacks on other historic irritants that have gotten under their skin, say, Santa Claus or perhaps Uncle Sam — he should have been gone long ago. But now according to the Good Times — also known as the Washington Times — the Woke Folk want to change the names of “1,000 rivers, mountains and other places because they consider the names to be racist.” That is the way the Times reported the story last Wednesday.
