Adherents of radical feminism are five decades into a powerful campaign that seeks to shape the way American women think. Politics, fashion, Hollywood, academia, and media propagate a singular vision of womanhood, relying on savvy use of optics, messaging, and even make-up. These radical feminists have done a remarkable job of silencing or sidelining their critics. Ironically, whether they know it or not, feminists’ unspoken premise insists men are superior to women and women must become like them in the pursuit of equality. Therefore, to be equal, women must be able to eliminate the consequences of sex, like men, and rid themselves of unborn children through unrestricted abortion.

This article is beautifully composed, and the message is exquisite. Please take the time to read it. Here's a sample: "..Fly-over women know feminist ideology is the weary set of ideas that led us to a country in which millions of women are desperately unhappy—and many are hard-pressed to actually define the word “woman.” There is no happiness in an ideology that foments narcissism, self-absorption, and isolation from the basic cell of civilization: the family. Only a deeply confused culture would seek to replace the word mother with “birthing person” or breastfeeding with “chest-feeding.” The fly-over woman understands her womanhood and motherhood deep in her bones and doesn’t see maleness as a goal to achieve or person to conquer. She knows she needs men. She knows, as women have for millennia, that being a woman is synonymous with carrying something. ...There are a lot of fly-over women out here. Many of us feel alone, overwhelmed, exhausted, and unseen. But we will continue to raise our families as best we can, however imperfectly, navigating the constant messaging and policies out of step with our own values and beliefs, because we know that without strong families, what’s left of civilization will collapse overnight.

Although this is in the first paragraph, it bears repeating; "Ironically, whether they know it or not, feminists’ unspoken premise insists men are superior to women and women must become like them in the pursuit of equality. Therefore, to be equal, women must be able to eliminate the consequences of sex, like men, and rid themselves of unborn children through unrestricted abortion." Misogyny is part and parcel of radical feminism. If it were not, NOW would leading women students marching across every college campus denouncing men who are appropriating their sex, in order to achieve status in sports and scholarships they cannot earn competing against other men. While blackface has been limited to entertainment and bad-taste costumes, "transsexuals" are stealing rights and honors due to womanhood and the meaning of being a woman. If blackface is offensive to bLACKS, when nothing is materially is taken from them, then how is a man pretending to be a women not also offensive when women are being materially hurt and damaged? Fifty years ago the radical feminists adopted the philosophy of a hedonistic man, Larry Lader, who promoted abortion because it freed men from their responsibilities. He seduced Betty Friedan (apologies for the mental image) into believing that abortion would be "empowering" for women. Betty packed the 2nd NOW convention with students from the eastern women's colleges and late one night brought forward the pro-abortion plank. The college vote overwhelmed the old-line feminists who were blindsided by the surprise. Over one-third walked out and away from NOW. Many of those women went on to found pro-life groups, such as the March for Life. For a fascinating history of how abortion was mainstreamed into America, including the background of the Roe decision, a must read is "Subverted: How I Helped the Sexual Revolution Hijack the Women's Movement" by Sue Ellen Browder.

These women are The Normals. One of the great lines (of many) in the article..... "They carry children in their wombs, their arms, their hearts, their minds." Yes, and they love them, and don't murder them like the leftists do. That's a huge, immense difference. The difference between human and inhumane, normal and abnormal.

This article’s writer correctly describes flyover country as being between Hawaii and Maine. My children (and grandchldren and great-grandchildren) are the best things I’ve ever done. No other career than motherhood - and I was forced by circumstances to have a few - ever brought he pride, the joy, the contentment, the feeling of real accomplishment than those little (now big) people have brought over the years. So flyovr country women can be found in every state in our wonderful Union. It’s not the geography. It’s the values, the character.

The disorienting effects the Marxist movement had on the path to womanhood for women born in the 10 years after WWII was enormous. Good girls didn’t….but they were saps and everyone knew strong independent heroic women did. When a cute boy wanted it the bold self-actualized thing to do was go ahead despite the inner knowledge that it just wasn’t right. When a baby was conceived despite birth control the girl was alone except for her buddies at Planned Parenthood who never laid eyes on her before and wouldn’t again once the abortion was completed. She didn’t tell her mom or her friends because of the shame. She carried the pain alone. Women are still being pulled in all directions like rubber bands to be self-absorbed, hip, modern and licentious while feeling angry, lost and alone. Until the day comes that they realize they’ve been manipulated and angered over a dopey philosophy by a 19th century wastrel and ne’er-do-well who ignored and disdained his own wife and kids and left them for others to take care of.

#9 The same goes for the Baby Boomer women who got pregnant and were forced to give their babies over for adoption. ("The Girls Who Went Away" by Ann Fessler." It is known as the Baby Scoop Era. Gen-X adoptees are just now coming to terms with that era and how it has affected them. Feminism has another dirty secret in that regard as well.

A perfect example of the condescending, self-righteous, ignorant and woke feminists is the D.C. public defender who graciously "educated" the D.C. protester grandmother who was the first to be sentenced for the crime of "parading" on the Capitol grounds. Didn't know that was a crime, since politicians and leftists are forever parading about on our Capitol grounds. Flyover women are not ignorant hillbillies waiting to be educated by the woke. Those of us who work for a living and have children know more about life than these liberal and woke morons ever will. Too bad we can't sentence them to live and work amonst us for a year or two, and see how most of America lives. I doubt, however, that we could put up with their insufferable arrogance and ignorance.

Josh Hawley was just explaining how much he agreed with Barack Obama when Kamala Harris arrived. For weeks, the junior senator from Missouri had raised hell over who should head the federal agency that is the equivalent of the federal government’s human resources department. Hawley gave speeches and made procedural motions that deadlocked the Senate, ultimately resulting in the arrival of the vice president’s motorcade on Capitol Hill. That’s when Hawley lost the fight. And Hawley knew he had lost the moment his chief of staff leaned over to interrupt an interview with RealClearPolitics. “She is here,” he announced.

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the Department of Justice is suing the state of Georgia Friday over their passing of a law to ensure election integrity and security. President Biden has been highly critical of the new law comparing it to Jim Crow. George Washington University Law Professor and Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley sat down with "Fox & Friends" Saturday to analyze the DOJ lawsuit. "I'm highly skeptical and I think they may ultimately regret this move. It could indeed clarify this issue in a way the Biden administration does not want," Turley said.

Judges appointed by former President Trump have stymied President Biden's policies on multiple fronts in the early months of the new administration, taking what experts say is a less "deferential" approach to executive power as judges appointed by past presidents. "What you’re seeing is that ‘pen and phone’ initiatives are running into legal trouble right off the bat," Ilya Shapiro, the vice president and director of the libertarian Cato Institute's Robert A. Levy Center for Constitutional Studies, told Fox News. "Trump appointed a lot of judges — more than anyone in one term than Jimmy Carter, for whom Congress created 152 new judgeships to fill

Something strange is afoot in the party of Jefferson. With the Democrats still spinning after the collapse of their election bill — and progressives furious with the White House’s seeming lack of commitment to that effort — the president has already pivoted, announcing a plan to tackle the violent crime wave besetting American cities. And the Vice President? She’s on her way to the border, 91 days, two countries, and countless laughs after it was first assigned by the boss. Some might notice that cracking down on rampant crime and tackling a crisis at the border were not topics of discussion when now-President Joe Biden and now-Vice President Kamala

J.D. Vance is the man Republicans have been praying for since the day Donald Trump stormed to the party’s presidential nomination five years ago. He has a lot of the traits conservatives liked about Trump: Vance, too, is a political outsider with proven appeal to an audience beyond politics, thanks to his bestselling memoir Hillbilly Elegy. Like Trump, Vance offers himself as an avatar for the people who have been discarded by globalization and demonized by a left-wing media and education establishment. And he is as radical as Trump — maybe more so — in his willingness to reject the merely liberal side of American conservatism. Trump defied elite orthodoxy

It's a very basic concept of journalism: Cover the stories that impact your viewers and readers most, the stories they most care about. But for one very big story, there's been relative silence from our national media, just passing mentions. It is the skyrocketing violent crime that is paralyzing many major American cities while prompting record numbers of police officers either resigning or retiring. Here's a look around the country at what many cities are dealing with: New York City: Despite having the country's largest police force, the city’s murder rate is up 48 percent over 2019 (pre-pandemic), while shootings have increased by 107 percent in two years.

In a nation of hundreds of millions of people, each with their own thoughts, beliefs, and ideas, there will be those with ugly thoughts committing ugly deeds. Racial prejudice will to a certain degree never be truly eradicated. And yet, we have done an excellent job as a country in substantially minimizing these attitudes socially, and even ensuring racial prejudices are eliminated at an institutional level within government. Although we are not perfect, in regard to race and opinions about race, we are living in the best of times; our nation is not recognizable as the place where segregation ruled throughout the South as recently as the 1960s.
