How Critical Race Theory
Is Taught in Public Schools

Original Article

Critical race theory is making its way into institutions across America. Christopher Rufo, a visiting fellow for domestic policy studies at The Heritage Foundation, joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss how critical race theory is affecting what children learn in schools. (Snip) “Critical race theory is an academic discipline … that holds that racism is the driving force in society, that in order to understand power relations, in order to understand institutions such as the law, education, the Constitution, [and] social relations, you have to understand that through the lens of race,” Rufo, also a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, says. Rufo explains how critical race theory is affecting corporate America

Comments:

Rufo is also an activist and has some interesting info about what he does towards the end of the interview. He also says that as more people become aware of Critical Race Theory, more are emboldened to speak up and organize against it.

THEY can't teach your kids if your kids aren't there. Pull them out. Contact the HSLDA to find out the requirements for your state to homeschool, or enroll in a private religious school. Public schools are funded by enrollment. Hit them where it hurts. Take over the school boards. Rethink the proverb, "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world". Who is teaching your child?

DrFauci has taught us nothing if not the ability to teach and learn without classrooms. It is imperative that state Trump country legislators adjust laws to allow open enrollment at virtual schools. Open boards for schools. Parents can select those schools that avoid BLM and other junk curricula. They have woken the unwoke. We have numbers and geography.

For me 'critical racing theory' is to enter the corner from the opposite side of the track, smoothly braking and then transition to a light throttle setting to settle the car as you sweep across the track to a smooth late apex, and begin feeding in more and more throttle, feeling for traction, as you clear the apex and exit the turn, trying for maximum exit speed to get a good start for the next straight. Practice makes perfect. And no skin colors involved at all.

It's a dishonest or naive theory. We have a capitalist economy. Anyone can take part, most do. There are those who won't compete for the opportunities available. According to the race theorists, there are many who can't compete. So, the only option for them is welfare.....subsistence living. The answer is to stay on welfare, or prepare yourself to become marketable so you can get a job and work your way up. The answer is not to punish those who have chosen to partake of the opportunities available in this country, of which there are many.

On April 23, Julie Appleby, a senior correspondent with the Kaiser Health News network, published a piece in the Los Angeles Times entitled “Michigan’s Outbreak Worries Scientists. Will Conservative Outposts Keep Pandemic Rolling?” implying that both the sleepy Michigan town where I live, and the college I attend, are biohazards: Michigan’s outbreak could be an anomaly or a preview of what will happen in the nation as it emerges from the pandemic. Will pockets of covid denialism and vaccine resistance like that in Hillsdale—where the local college newspaper ran an opinion piece against the shots—serve as reservoirs for a wily virus, which will resurface to cause outbreaks in

Nearly 50 percent of Americans polled think that at least some social distancing measures will be permanent. Who can blame them? We have decided to make avoiding disease our full-time job. It’s more important than going to work or seeing your friends. It’s worth destroying the established Western social convention that we be able to see each other’s faces in public. I’ve got news for you: If you spend all your time worrying about getting sick, you’re sick already. America is having a giant, hysterical, hypochondriacal fit. The news that federal investigators searched and seized electronic devices from the apartment and office of Rudy Giuliani, a Trump lawyer, raises so many questions and involves so much missing information that even someone as skilled a mystery writer as Patricia Cornwell might have difficulty unraveling the story. I’m not that person, unfortunately, but let me try to make some sense out of this crime story. Background President Biden’s son, Hunter, had a lucrative position with a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, and it raised suspicions that this created a conflict of interest respecting U.S. policy toward Ukraine. Suspicions about improper influence upon the Bidens by certain Ukrainian officials were heightened

If you don’t recall the long sad story of the nine black teenagers convicted for raping two white women nine decades ago in Alabama, convictions clearly handed down in an atmosphere of extreme racial prejudice, here’s the account. In much the same way, I believe the conviction of Derek Chauvin on three counts -- each with inconsistent elements of the offense -- in an undeniably prejudicial atmosphere violates the Supreme Court ruling in Sheppard v Maxwell (384 U.S. 333) where the Court ruled that while the press had the right under the First Amendment to publish stories about the murder of Sam Sheppard’s wife, the defendant had the right

Bhattacharya is a professor of medicine at Stanford University. He’s a health economist by training. “I think about things from a cost-benefit point of view, you have to think about what the costs and benefits are of any policy to set before you make a recommendation,” Bhattacharya said on The Epoch Times’ “American Thought Leaders.” “In the case of masks, the evidence that children spread the disease even without a mask is that they’re much less efficient spreaders.

Most Americans are convinced there is an “epidemic” of police shooting unarmed black males in America. This widespread misperception is reinforced with misreportage, sensationalized reportage, missing context, and the lack of reporting on analogous cases. In February, a survey was released that showed how many adults overestimate the number of adult unarmed black males were killed by police officers in 2019 (the last year with full data available). The Skeptic Research Center published the results, which were broken down by political ideology. A chart based on these responses is posted below:

A pair of doctors at Brigham and Women's Hospital last month outlined a pilot program that, they said, would offer "preferential care" to patients of color. The proposal, published in Boston Review, accuses hospitals across the country of practicing "medical apartheid"—something they said must be addressed through "race-explicit interventions." Those interventions may violate civil rights laws, and Brigham and Women's Hospital assured the Washington Free Beacon that they are "not currently underway at the hospital." That hasn't stopped one of its authors, Dr. Michelle Morse, from moving on up: She is now the chief medical officer of New York City. In her new post, Morse will wield enormous influence

Republican candidates did extremely well, edging out the rest of the field. Sanchez said the Republicans received an overwhelming majority (62 percent) of the total voters.
