No new ideas. Just “get Trump”. What boring little people.
The more it is acknowledged that the election was fraudulent, the weaker these nuisances look.

The witness list for the impeachment was stopped by Speaker Pelosi for a reason. This lawsuit will end the same way.

One hopes the defendants will issue in short order subpoenas to interview witnesses. Sure will be fun hearing what Naci, Chuckie, Mitch, and a whole host of other brave elected officials have to say. I would include Chairman Xiden but I'm sure he doesn't remember shinola.

These guys have standing --- but Republicans don't ever have standing to file a lawsuit.

Standard stupid, fact-free abuse of the legal system to "get Trump".

This case could be extremely interesting (at least to attorneys) regarding responsibility for payment of Donald Trump's attorneys' fees and costs. It seems likely that Rudy will have to pay his own attorneys' fees and costs. Even if this case is resolved in favor of all Defendants pursuant to motions to the court made by the Defendants' attorneys, defending this case could be extremely expensive. This case does not appear to be a good candidate whereby the court will require the Plaintiffs to pay the Defendants' fees and costs.
I'm wondering more and more whether the primary purposes of these various federal court cases against Donald and/or Rudy are to have them to incur huge attorneys' fees and costs.
Remember that General Flynn had to file for bankruptcy because of the legal expenses incurred because of his single federal case.

The prosecution has the responsibility to provide evidence that proves their allegations. The defense has the authority to call witnesses, confront their accusers and to challenge the allegations and evidence offered by the prosecution. In all cases, there are established rules of procedure and rules of evidence.
The discovery process will be very interesting and, unlike the sham "impeachment" trial, the legal process is subject to legal rules and not a political process.
I eagerly await an objective investigation and trial.

The plaintiffs must show that Trump and Giuliani intentionally conspired to deceive his followers regarding the validity of the election. If they can show that there was evidence that their contention of a stolen election was arguable and a legitimate matter of dispute then there would be no grounds for the suit. This should require the submission of the affidavits and other documentation that Giuliani and other produced and presented to the state legislatures. They can also show the letters that were sent to the Senate by GA, PA, and AZ legislatures asking to delay the certification until they could review all the evidence of fraud that was produced.
I think Trump has a pretty good case if the plaintiffs aren't able to shop for a hanging judge.

Discovery should be hilarious.
This is nothing more than judicial harassment, grand standing and resume padding. I could destroy the democrats in court, and I can barely spell the word.
Prediction: This case will never be argued in front of a jury. The LAST thing the democrats want is a public hearing where there are actual standards of evidence.

The lawyers will get paid no matter what. In other countries, if the lawyers lose a case, they pay.

In typical leftist ongoing narrative, President Trump and Rudy Giuliani are accused of inciting and carrying out a riot at the Capitol that caused grave danger of harm to Thompson and other congressional members. As icing on the cake, the suit continues alleging President Trump solicited support and endorsed “belligerent and violent actions” for his reelection by organizations such as the Proud Boys.
