If one didn’t know that Chris Wallace was a Fox News anchor, one might think they’d tuned in to MSNBC instead. Over the last few years, he has made no secret of his disapproval of President Trump. Although Vavruska said he felt almost immediately better, he wishes the urgent-care doctor he went to see in the early days of his flu-like symptoms in mid-March could have prescribed a similar treatment before he grew progressively worse and ended up in a hospital room, hooked up to an oxygen tank and fighting for his life.
One of the liberal myths that you can see being spread on social media, aided by some in the liberal media, is that Fox News downplayed the Wuhan coronavirus and because of that that Republicans/evangelicals/those “other people are going to spread infection everywhere, just you wait and see.
The problem with this goofy conspiracy theory is that every element of it is wrong. Fox didn’t downplay it more than any other media outlet. Indeed it wasn’t Fox calling things like Trump cutting travel from China racist and suggesting there was nothing to fear, it was Democrats and outlets like the New York Times.

None of the options are good, but no other conclusion can be drawn.
Bill Gates, billionaire philanthropist, and Anthony Fauci, the White House’s go-to for shaping the public’s response to coronavirus, have been given some mighty powers in recent weeks — specifically, the powers of influence that have led to the shuttering of businesses; shutting up of citizens in their homes; shutting down of schools around the nation; stalling of the national economy; and of late, shaping of messaging that’s led to thousands of Americans wearing stupid face masks everywhere they go.
Who elected these guys so they could sink so America’s freedoms?

Cuomo’s remarks came during Saturday’s coronavirus news briefing held in Albany, New York, after a reporter asked him whether he had considered a White House run. “Democrats would like to see me replace Joe Biden on the ticket,” Cuomo asked before saying the idea is “flattering” and somewhat “irrelevant.” Cuomo went on to discuss why many would not be fond of his consideration of running for president and how it correlates with his handling of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

Idris Abdus-Salaam, 33, a truck driver from Durham, North Carolina, on Tuesday pulled into the Pilot Travel Center on Strawberry Plains Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee, got out of his truck, pulled out a knife, and went on a stabbing spree. He stabbed three women to death and injured a fourth. When confronted by police, Abdus-Salaam refused to drop his weapon and was shot dead. According to Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) spokeswoman Leslie Earhart, authorities are still trying to determine his motive. But will they miss an obvious clue that is right in front of their faces?
The three women Abdus-Salaam killed were all employees of the Pilot Travel Center.

Two reckonings are due on the Wuhan virus, and both should begin soon.
Let’s call these two reckonings the Foreign Reckoning and the Domestic Reckoning, because our current national crisis of an imprisoned and dying economy has dual sources.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange secretly fathered two children with one of his lawyers while he was holed up at the Ecuadorean embassy in London and fighting extradition to the US, according to a report.

It has been my custom now for several decades when looking at some shiny new policy being proposed, some public threat that “we must all act to counter,” to stand back and ask myself “Cui Bono?” i.e. “Who does this benefit?” Additional considerations are: is this in any way effective or commensurate or even sane for the problem it purports to solve? Who is pushing for this? The hordes of the entitled aren’t quite sure how to behave. Everything has changed. How will they be aspirational? How can they show America that they too are in pain, struggling and therefore relatable/likable? Many of them have dug deep into their shallow psyches and bravely tried to show us their burden either via their own television shows or social media channels to get their daily dose of crowd-sourced dopamine.
