Illinois Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker, apparently beginning his quest for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination, called for “mass protests” and “destruction” in an evident attempt to outflank any other prospective candidate in rhetoric targeting the Trump administration.
An average of recent polls of prospective 2028 Democratic presidential candidates found that former Vice President Kamala Harris led with 27.1%, followed by former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg at 16.1%, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) at 12.9%, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker at 8.6%, and California Governor Gavin Newsom at 7.9%. Pritzker ranked 10th with 3.2%.
Speaking at the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner on Sunday, Pritzker bellowed, “Never before

President Trump will sign a sweeping “law and order” executive order Monday to overhaul policies that he says hamstring police and prevent the mass deportation of illegal immigrants, The Post has learned.
The bucket of seven major reforms, outlined in an administration document, includes instructing the Justice Department to “create a mechanism to provide legal resources and indemnification for officers facing unjust expenses from official duties, including pro bono assistance.”
The order also seeks to “increase surplus military assets for local law enforcement” — which Democratic administrations have curtailed — and calls for authorities to “pursue legal action against state or local officials obstructing criminal or immigration law enforcement,”

The second illegal migrant nabbed in Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s Gucci bag theft has been identified as a Chilean national who was released into the US despite being handed a notice of “expedited removal,” The Post has learned.
Cristian Rodrigo Montecino-Sanzana was busted in Miami on Sunday after he and another illegal migrant allegedly made off with Noem’s designer purse containing $3,000 in cash last week, law enforcement sources said.
Montecino-Sanzana was released into the US in January 2021, according to sources — despite the US Border Patrol issuing him a notice of expedited removal when he was apprehended trying to sneak across the southern border in December.

For decades, federal law has required U.S. universities to disclose the sources of large foreign donations to the federal government. But the Biden administration sparsely enforced the law, allowing foreign nationals from adversarial countries to funnel cash to top American schools and stay anonymous.
In some cases, it's unclear whether the schools themselves are keeping close track of the foreign money they accept. In early February, the Washington Free Beacon filed state records requests with 11 public universities for the identities of foreign donors that gave the schools more than $20,000 in the past two years.

The White House lawn has been lined with dozens of mug shot-style posters brandishing the faces of arrested illegal migrants — and lists of the despicable crimes some have committed.
The placards, emblazoned with “ARRESTED,” could be seen lined up along the White House driveway first thing Monday.
“White House lawn looks a little different this AM,” Trump administration spokesperson, Kaelan Dorr, said in an X post.

Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder criticized FBI Director Kash Patel for posting a photo of Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan in handcuffs Friday after she was arrested on federal charges for obstructing ICE efforts to arrest an illegal alien outside her courtroom April 18. Patel posted the photo of the back of Dugan with her hands in cuffs as she was being led away by FBI agents with the message, “No one is above the law.”
Holder accused Patel trying to “trying to maximize intimidation” by violating a Justice Department rule established by Holder restricting the release of photos of federal defendants.

When President Trump put forward his new envoy to combat antisemitism, Rep. Jerrold Nadler urged Senate Democrats “not to provide the Trump Administration with a single vote to confirm Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun.”
Rep. Nadler had opposed the Antisemitism Awareness Act, opposed Trump’s crackdown on campus antisemitism, opposed the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism, and opposed defunding colleges that tolerate antisemitism.
CAIR, an Islamist group whose leader celebrated the Oct 7 Hamas attacks, praised Rep. Nadler’s opposition to the Antisemitism Awareness Act meant to protect Jewish students from campus Hamas supporters like the ones that the congressman had been defending in 2025.

Donald Trump's combative communications director has issued a blistering, foul-mouthed takedown of a CNN guest after she spoke about the president's weight loss.
Steven Cheung slammed Daily Beast executive Joanna Coles as a '---------' with a 'pea-sized brain' after she speculated that Trump may have taken the weight-loss aide Ozempic during her appearance on Inside Politics.
'CNN had this blithering idiot on Inside Politics from the Daily Beast named Joanna Coles making unsubstantiated claims about President Trump’s health,' Cheung fumed via X on Sunday morning.

Anti-Israel protesters Sunday clashed with cops outside a Brooklyn synagogue where Israel’s embattled security minister was set to speak — with the speech ending up canceled and at least one arrest.
The protest outside Congregation Shaare ZIon on Ocean Parkway turned violent shortly after 9:30 a.m. as NYPD officers and some members of the crowd scuffled while the rowdy mob demonstrated against Sunday’s scheduled speech by Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The speech was nixed, and the under-fire minister is now set to return home a day early, the Israeli outlet Haaretz reported.

America’s founding documents are selling at the fastest rate since 2004, when market research firm Circana began keeping track, prompting publishers to plan new editions. The rising civic interest is being attributed, at least in part, to the tumultuous state of America’s political affairs.
The U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist Papers have sold a combined 162,000 copies this year, Circana noted—and that’s only through mid-April. This is 76% higher than the same period in 2017, President Donald Trump’s first term in office, when these documents sold 92,000 copies, more than twice as many as in 2016. Sales totaled 58,000 over the same period

Once again, the failing New York Times is running interference and burying the real story to protect their preferred narrative. An article headlined "Missteps, Equipment Problems and a Common but Risky Practice Led to a Fatal Crash," which is about January's devastating crash at Reagan National Airport, is a textbook example of mainstream media malpractice.
An honest headline would have read, "Helicopter Pilot Ignored Multiple Safety Warnings Before Fatal Crash."
The liberal paper of record spent roughly a thousand words dancing around the obvious truth: A helicopter pilot directly caused this tragedy by ignoring multiple explicit warnings. But that wouldn't fit their preferred story about "systemic failures," would it?

President Donald Trump said Sunday that his tariff policy will substantially reduce, even completely eliminate, income taxes for some American workers.
“When Tariffs cut in, many people’s Income Taxes will be substantially reduced, maybe even completely eliminated,” Trump wrote in a 6:06 a.m. post on Truth Social. “Focus will be on people making less than $200,000 a year.”
Trump continued, “Also, massive numbers of jobs are already being created, with new plants and factories currently being built or planned. It will be a BONANZA FOR AMERICA!!! THE EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE IS HAPPENING!!!
