President Trump responded to a reporter pressuring him on new gun laws in the wake of the deadly shooting at Florida State University by reaffirming his commitment to the Second Amendment. In the process, the President pointed out that guns are not scary inanimate objects that fire on their own accord.
“Mr. President, there are now two deceased following that shooting at Florida State University,” a reporter confronted. “Is there any changes you want to see to gun legislation? Anything you see broken with gun laws in our country?”
Trump did not waver on his staunch support of Second Amendment rights in America.

The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has agreed to hear oral arguments in May on a case that centers on President Donald Trump’s historic executive order to end birthright citizenship for the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens.
On Thursday, the court issued a notice that oral arguments on the executive order will be heard on May 15. Immediately after Trump signed the executive order in January, the pro-mass migration groups CASA Inc. and Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project sued to block the order. The order seeks to eliminate the nation’s so-called anchor baby policy where about 250,000 “anchor babies” are born in the U.S. annually to illegal alien parents.

I don't know who thinks it's a good idea that Joe Biden wants to come " back" and get more involved again. You would think his handlers would have sense and just say "Enough" and time for retirement. We're already seeing how badly the "coming back" is working out: making weird remarks about "colored kids," confusing Ukraine and Iraq, and even dropping his ice cream on the ground. But if you thought that was already nuts, you ain't heard nothing yet. Guess how much Joe Biden (or his handlers) wants you to pay him if you book him to make a speech and stumble through a few remarks?

Despite leftist U.S. District Judge James Boasberg finding probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt of court on Wednesday for violating his previous order, Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz believes Boasberg should be the one held in contempt instead “for issuing such a vague order.”
Boasberg attempted to block the administration from using the Alien Enemies Act for deporting Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members, but Boasberg never issued a binding order, Dershowitz explained.
“He issues an order first orally, in which he talks about bringing the planes back. You can't just bring planes back. That's not easy. That might not be safe.

President Trump on Wednesday found a way around an effort by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who tried to block one of his nominees for a federal prosecutor role in New York.
Trump announced his appointment of Jay Clayton as interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, which would circumvent the Senate confirmation process that Schumer intended to block.
“I am pleased to announce that Jay Clayton will serve as the Interim United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. During my First Term, Jay served with great distinction as the Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and earned the respect of everyone," Trump said.

You might have thought that Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) would be back by now after he got rejected from seeing or talking with El Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador.
That would have been smart. But he appears to still be there and still grandstanding. After being told bluntly by the Central American nation's vice president that the senator wasn't going to be able to get in to see Garcia at CECOT, it looks like Van Hollen decided to go there anyway to try to get in.
It didn't go well. He says he was stopped by soldiers.

It’s not just Biden family artwork that’s struggling to sell these days.
Former President Joe Biden’s attempt to bill $300,000 per speaking appearance is finding few takers, The Post has learned — as some of his own former aides say it’s time for the 82-year-old to leave the spotlight for good after reminiscing about “colored kids” Tuesday in his first public address since leaving office.
A source familiar with Biden’s faltering speaking career said that the 46th president’s standard pitch is $300,000 — 25% below Barack Obama’s $400,000 asking price upon leaving office in 2017.
It’s unclear how negotiable Biden’s rate is.

It also called for measures to curb in-prison radicalization and study extremism within the military.

Most Americans are fully on board with Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) slashing millions of their hard-earned taxpayer dollars from the federal government. Even when we think we have heard the most outrageous expenditure found by the DOGE team, another one comes along. Many have suggested that they look into how members of Congress have become millionaires during their time on Capitol Hill. It's a great idea, but maybe an even better idea would be to ask how those lawmakers spend your tax dollars in their official capacities. Prime example: Who paid for Democrat Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen's trip to El Salvador?

Several lawmakers who voted against the legislation either refused to tell the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) why they seemingly support non-citizens voting in elections or claimed that the idea is a myth.

HBO has announced plans to cast a Black actor as Severus Snape in its upcoming Harry Potter series adaptation, in yet another brazen move by the radical left to rewrite and ruin beloved classics.
The iconic character, immortalized by the late Alan Rickman in the original films, is described in J.K. Rowling’s books in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as “a thin man with sallow skin, a large hooked nose, and greasy, shoulder-length black hair.”
“Sallow” is an old-fashioned term that describes a pale, yellowish, or sickly complexion. It often implies someone looks unwell, gaunt, or drawn, rather than naturally dark-skinned.

The terms “woman” and “sex” in British law refer to biological women and biological sex and do not include men who identify as transgender, the UK’s Supreme Court has ruled in a landmark judgment.
The ruling makes clear that transgender people with a gender recognition certificate can be excluded from single-sex spaces if “proportionate.”
Women’s rights groups, including For Women Scotland (FWS), which brought the case against Scottish ministers to the UK’s highest court, celebrated the judgment, handed down to a packed courtroom in London on Wednesday.

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has called on “Americans of conscience” to stand against the deportation of MS-13 gang member and illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Abrego Garcia, of El Salvador, was deported on March 15, 2025, to his home country’s Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT). He had been illegally living in Maryland for nearly 15 years.
In May 2021, Abrego Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, was granted a temporary protective order against him after she alleged he was subjecting her to domestic violence — including beating, scratching, and punching her.

The DC Circuit Court of Appeals late Wednesday evening partially blocked Judge Chutkan’s order that barred EPA Chief Lee Zeldin from clawing back billions of dollars from Joe Biden‘s EPA slush fund.
The three-judge panel: Pillard (Obama), Katsas (Trump) and Rao (Trump) stayed Judge Chutkan’s order requiring Citibank to disburse the funds by Thursday (today).
On Wednesday, Judge Chutkan, an Obama appointee, granted an injunction against the EPA and barred Lee Zeldin from clawing back the money currently being sheltered at Citibank for 8 different ‘green’ nonprofits.

But he's there now, and as Scott Pinsker at our sister site PJ Media reported, what he's planning to do may just kill the Democratic Party.
Hogg is doing something that is unprecedented as a DNC vice chair. He's planning on spending big -- $20 million -- to take down other Dems, to primary "ineffective, asleep-at-the-wheel" Democrats with his "Leaders We Deserve" group.
It’s an unprecedented, and controversial, move from a national officer within the Democratic Party that will enrage some insiders. Democratic Party committees

Another Biden meltdown.
Former President Joe Biden was smuggled into Harvard University for a surprise appearance Wednesday — during which he clumsily dropped his ice cream bar on the floor and mistakenly referred to Ukraine as Iraq.
The 82-year-old’s discussion with roughly 50 students at the Ivy League school’s Institute of Politics was marked by embarrassing blunders similar to those that plagued his disastrous and short-lived 2024 re-election campaign, the Harvard Crimson reported.

Pam Bondi’s ability to manage the Department of Justice has come under increased scrutiny from the right. File releases are delayed or mismanaged. No apparent action is taken against subversive government officials. And J6ers and other victims of a weaponized DoJ remain unsatisfied. Many have raised the question of whether Pam Bondi was the right choice for MAGA attorney general. Many more, including President Trump, would be questioning her bona fides if they knew about Bondi’s role in the creation of Black Lives Matter.
How Trump handles the DoJ will be crucial to the success of his second term.

A majority of voters favor deporting all illegal immigrants from the United States, despite the ongoing leftist narrative suggesting otherwise — particularly when it comes to the recently deported El Salvadorian national, an alleged member of MS-13 whom Democrats are desperately seeking to return.
The latest data comes straight from CNN, which found that 56 percent support deporting an estimated 11 million illegal aliens residing in the United States. This is significantly up from 38 percent who said the same in 2016. Musk's rocket and satellite company is partnering with software maker Palantir (PLTR.O), opens new tab and drone builder Anduril on a bid to build key parts of Golden Dome, the sources said, which has drawn significant interest from the technology sector's burgeoning base of defense startups.
In his January 27 executive order, Trump cited a missile attack as "the most catastrophic threat facing the United States."

A dog who was kidnapped from Israel on Oct. 7 miraculously survived 18 months and was just rescued by Israel Defense Forces.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Billie apparently heard IDF soldiers speaking Hebrew near her hiding place in Gaza and rushed out to greet them. Tragically, the husband of Billie’s owner died in Hamas captivity, but Billie somehow survived. Billie’s rescue is a moment of light in the midst of the darkness Hamas brought on Israel with its Oct. 7 atrocities and ongoing war.
Israel War Room reported that Billie has been reunited with the Israeli family from whom she was kidnapped by Hamas.

President Donald Trump recently teased tariffs on pharmaceutical imports, and his administration began ramping up probes into the issue this week.
The administration said these tariffs are necessary to bring pharmaceutical manufacturing back to the U.S., which it classified as a matter of national security. This comes as supply chain AI company Exiger sounds the alarm over U.S. reliance on Chinese-made pharmaceuticals.
In Exiger’s report, "A Bitter Pill: America’s Dangerous Dependence on China-Made Pharmaceuticals," the company explains that American patients are at risk of getting low-quality medication — or none at all — under the current system.

The largest manufacturing association in the United States has sent 10 federal agencies a series of policy recommendations, with the goal of highlighting for the Trump administration "dozens of burdensome and outdated regulations that are driving up costs and undermining manufacturing competitiveness."

The group, which supports 13 million people who make things in America, said it was helping answer the call of President Donald Trump's Feb. 19 executive order outlining the Department of Government Efficiency's "de-regulatory initiative." Trump instructed agency heads to conduct a top-to-bottom

PBS receives roughly 15 percent of its $373 million operating budget from the federal government. In addition to its member stations and on-demand streaming shows, some of the money goes to Independent Lens, the weekly series through which PBS airs documentary films. They often have to do with racism.
The 2022 Independent Lens flick Racist Trees, for example, chronicles a black neighborhood in the overwhelmingly liberal "LGBTQ haven" of Palm Springs, Calif. The neighborhood's residents feel that a "wall of trees" that lines a nearby golf course was "intentionally planted to exclude and segregate" the neighborhood, and want the trees removed.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement sweep that took hundreds of illegal alien criminals off the streets of New York City last week sent a clear message that the Trump administration is serious about cracking down on crime.
But the reaction of neighbors sent an even clearer message about how strongly Americans support ridding the country of criminal elements that shouldn’t be here in the first place.
And that’s a message the Democratic Party simply refuses to hear.
According to the New York Post, a weeklong operation by ICE agents swept up 206 illegal aliens in the city, including members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

The New York Times is none too bright. I mean, I may not know a lot about Rosie O’Donnell, what having watched maybe one movie she’s in (“A League of Their Own,” which surprisingly wasn’t terrible for containing Rosie, Madonna, and Jon Lovitz) and maybe three episodes of “The View” while she was hosting.
However, even I know that Donald Trump’s bête noire has moved to Ireland because he’s the president again, but that didn’t stop the Times from running a Saurday story titled, “Where in the World Is Rosie O’Donnell?“
If this is a “Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?” spin-off, it’s the easiest one yet

Rep. Omar, you may recall, allegedly married a man who is, many say, her brother in order to get him to the United States legally. While some reporters have pursued the story, most of the media has been content to stay away, safe in the knowledge that going after the Minnesota Democrat, no matter how accurate the charges may be, cannot end well for them.
In the case of James, the attorney general of New York, it’s going to be a bit more difficult to look away.

This week, in a karmic corkscrew so tight it could pop the lid off a can of virtue-signaling pea and lentil soup, the Federal Housing Finance Agency referred New York Attorney General Letitia James to the Department of Justice for possible mortgage fraud.
Yes, that Letitia James—the one who sued Donald Trump for allegedly overvaluing buildings, counting too many bathrooms, and violating New York’s unspoken law against being a Republican with real estate holdings.

The four lonely liberals who voted for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, aka the Save Act, are at least smart enough to know that their constituents — constituents everywhere — believe only U.S. citizens should vote in U.S. elections. That knowledge just might save the bacon of the more politically vulnerable of this gang of four in next year’s election.
Not all heroes wear capes.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced the likely noncitizen voters earlier this month, and The Federalist asked her office for “the cities, and university campuses where applicable, where the 15 possible noncitizens allegedly voted.” After all, as The Federalist previously reported, a Chinese national allegedly voted at the University of Michigan last fall after being pressured by a left-wing group.

In February, a bunch of centrist Democratic officials gathered in ritzy Potomac, Maryland, to complain that the party had become too radicalized and needed to “get out of elite circles and into real communities (e.g., tailgates, gun shows, local restaurants, churches).”
The response of rank-and-file Democrats? “Go left, young gender-fluid person!!”
This week, RealClearPolitics reported on a poll from Survey USA that found 74% of Democrats either want the party to be even more “progressive” (50%) or like it just the way it is (24%). Fewer than one in five wants the party to move toward the center.

By her own admission, Stacey Abrams has made a number of "personal financial missteps” in her career. Despite a history marked by bill collectors, tax liens, and ethics investigations, the Georgia politician and Democratic Party activist has managed to amass a small fortune – while working most of her career in the not-for-profit sector.
Financial records show that when she first entered statewide politics in 2018, she reported a net worth of less than $109,000. By 2022, the last year she had to publicly file a financial report, it had grown to more than $3.2 million. Abrams is probably even better off than that, thanks to her latest venture:

Liberal pundits and anti-Trump Republicans got taken to the woodshed by CNN’s Harry Enten yesterday. There’s this myth that Trump voters are regretting their vote. There has been a deluge of stories based on shoddy polling from overtly anti-Trump clown operations who claim there’s a lot of buyer’s remorse out there. The fact is that’s a lie. I don’t know who is running these polls, but it once again shows how this industry, like the media writ large, has lost its credibility in the Trump era. Too many push polls, oversampling, and internal tweaks to get results that make liberals happy.

Conservatives have been calling for the defunding of both outlets for years, correctly suggesting that these outlets take tax dollars yet provide incredibly biased coverage which always takes the leftist position on issues, frequently criticizing anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders.
Now that it looks like Republicans might finally pull taxpayer funding for both outlets, Stelter is running to their rescue, laughably trying to paint them as honest news sources.

A pair of earthshattering, history-altering, Chris Christie-sized stories broke this week, but they’ve (mostly) skated beneath the political periphery. That’s because you can’t grasp the sheer enormity of the consequences until you connect them together.
On their own, they’re inconsequential, back-of-the-page news stories — scarcely soliciting a shoulder shrug from political wonks. But together, as a one-two punch, it will change American politics forever.
And it will murder the modern Democratic Party. There’s been a slow-moving coup… but nobody’s noticed!
It’s tied to the larger political realignment nationally:

A distant ocean-covered world, teeming with life.
That's the most likely explanation for a new discovery made by scientists, who say they have detected the most promising signs yet of life outside our solar system.
Using data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the astronomers, led by the University of Cambridge, have identified the chemical fingerprints dimethyl sulfide (DMS) and dimethyl disulfide (DMDS) – molecules that indicate life.
Here on Earth, these molecules are only produced by living organisms – primarily microbial life such as marine phytoplankton.
The molecules have been detected in the atmosphere of exoplanet K2-18b, which is located around 124 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Leo.
