The Trump administration is planning a June 14 military parade through the streets of Washington, D.C., to mark the president’s 79th birthday. It will also mark the Army’s 250th anniversary. A senior administration official confirmed the plans to NewsNation, The Hill’s sister network. Washington City Paper first reported on the parade, noting it will stretch almost 4 miles from the Pentagon in Arlington, Va., to the White House. An Army official confirmed the parade’s length to The Hill, and said that “there are plans for a parade that will involve the Army,” adding that nothing is yet solidified.

If you think TDS is bad now, this event will have the loons burning Trump in effigy on every street corner.

I don't like military parades. Probably because I've seen too many from Russia, CCP, N Kora and WWII Germany. Carry a big stick and keep them guessing

Or they COULD have said there will be a parade marking the Army's 250th anniversary that happens to coincidence with the President's birthday.

In a move that common sense Americans are hailing as a victory for personal freedom and military readiness, the U.S. Army has begun reenlisting soldiers discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine following an executive order from President Donald Trump. Signed just days after his inauguration, Trump’s directive demanded the rehiring of these troops—whom he called “patriots”—along with back pay for their time away. As of Monday, over 23 soldiers have rejoined the ranks, with three returning to active duty and more than 20 reentering the National Guard or Reserves. Yet, the fine print of the Pentagon’s implementation reveals a less generous reality than some might have hoped.
Why Are There So Many Aviation Accidents? 4 replies

While the latest aviation safety issues and accidents over the last few months scare some, to seasoned professionals the aviation tragedies and near misses do not come as a surprise. The only question is: Why did it take so long? There’s a long list of safety failures in the airline industry. United Airlines B777 plunged to the Pacific during climb in 2023, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), United, and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) didn’t investigate it for months. A 265-pound main tire fell off a B777 taking off out of Los Angeles; it fell from over 200 feet — still spinning — into an airport parking lot.

In the dumpy little borough of Millbourne, Pennsylvania, three elected Democrats cheated in the 2021 election in almost every imaginable way. Their candidate, one of the three cheaters, still lost his bid for mayor by some 30 votes. Two are still in office as of April 4, according to a phone call to the borough hall. The three pleaded guilty April 1 to a host of election fraud offenses at separate hearings before United States District Judge Harvey Bartle III. To examine their scheme is to see in play many of the red flags election integrity experts have warned about. It is a textbook for cheaters to study,

Mainstream journalists spent the last four years "speaking truth to power" by helping Democrats lie to the American people about the extent of Joe Biden's cognitive decline. The truth can finally be told now that the election is over. The first of several books about the Democratic Party's scandalous cover up, Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, came out earlier this month. Excerpts from the upcoming titles, such as Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History by Chris Whipple, have leaked to the press in an effort to juice sales.

Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis is not backing down on keeping his huge American flags flying high over his company’s locations. The RV dealer has been faced with lawsuits from municipalities in several areas due to the size of the flags, but Lemonis is not letting that deter him, Fox Business reported on Saturday. The most recent actions have come from officials in Greenville, North Carolina, and Sevierville, Tennessee. During an interview on Fox & Friends, Lemonis, who said the flags have been flying for 20 years, added, “This flag is not coming down. This is the third city in the last several years that tried to sue us to take the flag

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the Trump administration is planning to boost U.S. manufacturing employment with policies meant to steer laid-off federal workers into factories. In an interview with Tucker Carlson published Friday on the social platform X, the Treasury secretary said he believed the U.S. had enough workers to fill thousands of manufacturing jobs Trump hopes to create through steep import taxes. “On one side, the president is reordering trade,” Bessent said. “On the other side, we are shedding excess labor in the federal government, and bringing down federal borrowings.” “That will give us the labor that we need for the new manufacturing,” Bessent continued,

The National Weather Service is no longer providing language translations of its products, a change that experts say could put non-English speakers at risk of missing potentially life-saving warnings about extreme weather. The weather service has “paused” the translations because its contract with Lilt, an artificial intelligence company, has lapsed, NWS spokesman Michael Musher said. He declined further comment. Lilt, an artificial intelligence company, began providing translations in late 2023, replacing manual translations that the weather service had said were labor-intensive and not sustainable and eventually. It eventually provided them in Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, French and Samoan. The contract lapse comes

After years of running cover, they’ve now permitted themselves to report on the very corruption they actively ignored: the corruption of the Biden crime family. A bombshell letter that the New York Times obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request reveals exactly how Hunter Biden was peddling influence while his father served as Vice President. The State Department, in a completely unsurprising move, had withheld this damaging evidence until after Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed

Former President Joe Biden used a decaying New Hampshire bridge to sell his massive infrastructure package in 2021, but the bridge is still in poor condition years later despite the bill unleashing billions of dollars in spending. Biden stood in front of the rusty metal bridge carrying Route 175 over New Hampshire’s Pemigewasset River in November 2021 as he talked up the promise of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), a $1.2 trillion law meant to shore up America’s physical infrastructure. The federal judge who blocked the Trump administration's use of a 1798 wartime law to immediately deport Venezuelan nationals canceled a planned Tuesday court hearing to review the case after the Supreme Court handed a win to the president. In a minute order published Tuesday morning, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg announced that the previously scheduled Tuesday afternoon hearing would be vacated in light of the high court's ruling, which determined, among other things, that the "appropriate venue for such proceedings is the Southern District of Texas," or wherever plaintiffs that are subject to potential removal are currently being held.

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the White House to restore the Associated Press’s access to presidential events, saying that the decision to impose limitations violated the news organization’s free speech rights. U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden ruled that it was unconstitutional for the Trump administration to punish the AP because it refused to change its style guidance for the Gulf of Mexico, which President Trump renamed the Gulf of America. McFadden ordered the White House to restore the AP’s access to the Oval Office, Air Force One, “and other limited spaces when such spaces are made open to other members of the White House press pool.”

WASHINGTON — The White House warned Monday that President Trump would veto a bipartisan bill that would mandate congressional approval of all tariffs should it arrive on his desk. Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said the measure introduced last week by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) “would severely constrain the President’s ability to use authorities long recognized by Congress and upheld by the courts to respond to national emergencies and foreign threats.” The Trade Review Act also “eliminates leverage over foreign trading partners, inhibits reshoring and supply chain resilience, fosters market uncertainty, and introduces procedural micromanagement,” the OMB Statement of Administration Policy added.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem took part in early-morning deportation raids in Arizona Tuesday, almost getting kicked by an illegal alien as he was detained in the back of a police vehicle. Noem, who takes part in the raids to remind criminal aliens that there's a new sheriff in town, was speaking with a suspect who had just been cuffed and placed in the back of the SUV.
