On Thursday, Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced some pretty significant changes to how the Small Business Administration comports itself, including pulling all SBA regional offices out of sanctuary cities and taking steps to ensure that all SBA aid is legal and above board. In an interview on Fox Business, she laid out the plan: There are, right now, approximately 33 million small businesses in the United States. Roughly 3.7 million of those have less than 10 employees. These small businesses create 64 percent of new jobs. Small businesses are the major drivers of job growth;

The best thing to come out of President Trump’s joint address to Congress this week is, God willing, a total abandonment of the facade that “bipartisanship” is a worthy goal in itself.
For 100 minutes, Trump relentlessly, unapologetically championed and promoted his agenda, both what’s been done in just 42 days and what’s still to come. That’s fairly normal of a president, but there were three very special moments that I’ll forever hold dear in my heart when Trump aggressively confronted his political opponents on some very sensitive subjects,

The Supreme Court’s main job is to settle questions of law that arise in “cases or controversies.” But it also supervises the federal judiciary. Sometimes, that means getting outside of the Court’s comfort zone of an orderly appeals process when individual judges single-handedly provoke a separation-of-powers crisis. On Wednesday, in Department of State v. AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition, the Court fell down on that job. It issued a vague order doing little to rein in D.C. federal district Judge Amir Ali from inserting himself above the president in running the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Special Government Employee Elon Musk delivered a hefty amount of shade towards Elissa Slotkin (MI) after the Democrat senator called him out during her response to President Trump's joint address to Congress on Tuesday.Fox News senior national correspondent Aishah Hasnie briefly questioned Musk about Slotkin's remarks as he walked with Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI).
"What do you want to say to Elissa Slotkin?" Hasnie wondered. "She called you out by name."
You could see the wheels churning away inside Musk's head. This is, after all, the same man who recently said his cellphone number was "something 8008."
“Uh ... I don’t know who she is,” Musk replied.

The Department of Government Efficiency draws two extreme reactions from budget-focused observers.
On one side, you have cynics rolling their eyes and arguing that the truly consequential problem is not overpriced government boondoggles but rather entitlements like Medicare and Social Security and interest on the national debt.On the other, you have optimists who believe that if we just find and eliminate enough waste, fraud and abuse, we can balance the budget -- unless too much of the savings is handed out as "DOGE dividend" checks. They point to outrageous spending on "gambling monkeys" and luxury pickleball courts as proof that government is a bloated, reckless disaster.

At this writing, legacy and social media are filled with stories about President Donald Trump's phenomenally successful address before Congress Tuesday night, and congressional Democrats' pathetic and embarrassing display. In addition to Rep. Al Green's antics and the little protest paddles Democrat senators and representatives waved, they also refused to stand or applaud for anything, including Trump's recognition of 13-year-old DJ Daniel, who has been fighting brain cancer. Daniel hopes to become a police officer, and Trump made him an honorary member of the Secret Service during his speech,

After forces from the al-Qaeda affiliated Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terrorist group conquered Damascus and overthrew Syria's Assad regime in December 2024, they urged the residents of the Valley of the Christians to surrender any weapons they kept for self-defense, telling them that civilians would not be harmed. Since the jihadists' takeover of Syria, however, around 500,000 Christians in the country have been faced with increased persecution and abductions
On February 16, more Christians... were abducted from another village in the area. Their kidnappers, according to sources on the ground, are torturing them.

As of this writing, Pope Francis is still alive but in serious condition.
This Sunday, the Oscars telecast will air and ironically, one of the Best Picture nominees is the film “Conclave” which is about the process to elect a new pope.
During my years at the New York Sun, I was frequently asked by my editor, Seth Lipsky, to cover current events involving Pope John Paul II and the priest scandals, presumably because I am a devout Catholic and had some access to the New York archdiocese and the then-archbishop of New York,

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t know who Greg Gutfeld is?
He is the host of the highest rated late night talk show on Fox News at 10:00 p.m.
His format usually includes two guests and two regulars discussing recent current events with humor, very politically incorrect comments, and frequently blipped-out blue language.
He is way funnier than Bill Maher was when his Politically Incorrect show aired from New York but the most important thing about Gutfeld is the size of his audience and who is watching.

There was a massive train wreck in Washington, DC, this weekend, and it had nothing at all to do with locomotives and everything to do with a crowd of Never Trumpers assembling to shout into the dark void that has come to symbolize their movement. Even worse, their summit crashed and burned spectacularly when organizers falsely and quite publicly accused a Trump supporter of calling in a bomb threat. Let me explain.
As you know from RedState's extensive coverage, CPAC also took place in DC over the past few days, drawing in a dazzling array of speakers from the Trump administration—including JD Vance, Elon Musk and Tom Homan—

According to Google’s AI Overview, approximately 653,100 people, uh, “experience homelessness” on any given night in 2023, up a crazy 12% from just the year before. It’s a stunning number, but one that probably isn’t surprising to you no matter where you live, because this has gone far beyond just being a ‘big liberal city problem.’ Likely, your small town in your red state is also “experiencing homelessness” more than it ever has. Walk down your typical formerly Norman Rockwellesque main street today and you’ll likely see more than a few shopping carts, dirty tents, and drug-addled vagrants sitting or lying around.

Former, "retired" CIA Director John Brennan issued a panicked warning over the weekend on corporate state media regarding newly confirmed FBI Director Kash Patel’s agenda. Very dark,” “unprecedented” — scary terms.
Speaking of which, Brennan is the former top CIA spook who rebranded himself as a journalist and then wasted no time in appearing on MSNBC in the very first days of the Brandon Reign of Terror to declare war on anyone remotely associated with the right, including “libertarians.”
