Republicans Introduce Bill to Defund ‘Liberal
Propaganda’ National Public Radio

Original Article

Conservatives have wanted to yank taxpayer funding for National Public Radio for years. Could it finally happen? Two Republicans, one in the Senate and one in the House, have introduced a new bill that would accomplish this task, and in our current environment of cutting waste, fraud, and abuse, the time is right to strike. Even liberal law professor Jonathan Turley recently said it was time to end NPR’s taxpayer funded gravy train. The GOP needs to get this done.

The problem with NPR is not so much about the Public Funding but the fact that NPR is not apolitical. NPR has a specific political slant on its coverage. NPR is slanted to the left of left of center. NPR is anti MAGA for sure. Can NPR guarantee apolitical coverage? No. Thus Public Funding must be yanked. NPR must stand on its own and be funded on its own. Any funding must also be shown on any of its programming.

Pubs have to do better, get creative. If this defunding (PBS, NPR) doesn't succeed we know they're trying to fake us out. If PDT is motivating them to get stuff done, okay, but they should have done this decades ago. Not enough critters have focused on what the American people want; most have been too busy building careers and playing games.

Occasionally you may run across an interesting program and sometimes they don't even mention Climate Change. The complete package is not worth public tax dollars. Henry Louis Gates might have to find something else to do.

To me, the only part worth saving is the classical music programming that is sometimes found on the 'second audio channel' of the digital broadcasting. As far as the TV programming and the main NPR (National Propaganda Radio) broadcasting.... CUT IT!

I'd like to have 1990s NPR back. Sure, it leaned left, but is was a sort of bearded, goofy, "old hippie who runs the Pottery Barn next door to the vegan pita-wrap sandwich cafe" kind of left. It was something to listen to on the weekends when Rush's show was off and AM talk radio turned into divorce and retirement shows. It is impossible to listen to now. Since I can't have it the old way, send it off into oblivion.

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is expanding beyond the federal government. According to Newsmax, Republican governors and lawmakers in Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin are following the lead of the federal government and set up their own efficiency taskforces aimed at cutting government waste. Among those is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has set up a “DOGE task force” to audit spending, reduce bureaucracy, and eliminate any remaining diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

As we reported, failed political hacks—both “former,” because nobody would consider voting for them any longer—Reps. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the White House was a total disaster, where the European leader tried to use the same playbook, he masterfully used to max out aid with Biden, on President Trump. What occurred was a smackdown of epic proportions. Zelensky was there to sign a minerals deal which was never signed supposedly. Donald Trump and Elon Musk prove that the whole is greater than the sum of its two parts. There have been many famous pairs in history. Rodgers and Hammerstein. The Wright Brothers. Oppenheimer and Groves. Laurel and Hardy. The list could go on. One new addition will be Donald Trump and Elon Musk. The two make an interesting pair. Both were liberal in the past and supported Democrats. Both are businessmen who have seen their fair shares of ups and downs in their respective fields. But the two of them came to the realization that together they could do things that previous presidents either never tried or could not get done.

Trust for mass media among the American people is at its lowest point in 50 years, according to new polling from Gallup. It’s very easy to see how this happened. The vast majority of people in media act like they are nothing more than Democrat activists. They pushed anti-Trump lies like Russia collusion and the ‘fine people on both sides’ hoax for years and have never apologized. People like CNN’s Jake Tapper covered up Biden’s obviously declining mental state for years and is now putting out a book on the topic, as if he had nothing to do with it.

Democrats have learned nothing from the backlash to their constant lies about then-President Joe Biden’s mental decline. In an interview with Puck, onetime top Biden aide Michael LaRosa admitted the obvious: The staff knew that the ex-prez’s “age was an issue” from “Day 1” and opted for “gaslighting” the public when his behavior raised alarms. Yet in the same breath, he pushed back against calling this a “coverup” as “a little harsh.” Not remotely harsh enough, in fact: That the Bidenites, Dems in general and most of the press kept up the deception so long has earned them a lasting distrust — and owning up to the wrong is the necessary first step

About 38 percent of respondents said they supported the Liberal Party, compared to 36 percent for the Conservatives. Support for the New Democratic Party (NDPs), a far-left rival to the Liberals, almost entirely collapsed to 12 percent. The poll’s margin of error is 3.8 percent.
