The “thing” is the awkward skill of being very unlikeable. Today, Ron DeSantis talked openly about the goal to install his wife, Casey, as the next Florida Governor. Um, hell no. WATCH: Video.

If he has 2028 hopes, he cannot drag her along - or be dragged along by her - a la Jill Biden.

Lest anyone think this is not in the news, DeSantis's dissing of former ally Byron Daniels in favor of his wife is all over the Florida media and elsewhere. The reason? He pulled this at a press conference.nnOe report says he is already contating donors on her behalf.

It has long seemed that she is far more ambitious than he is. And not in a good way.

I couldn’t get enough of theconservativetreehouse during the Trayvon Martin debacle: what righteous yoeman’s work was done! But the glow is fading: I do not know who Sundance is, but Sundance certainly seems to have a personal vendetta against DeSantis.

She reminds me of a Jill The Second. She has visions of glory and will destroy any future DeSantis has. He made a big mistake running last time. If he pushes her to replace him, that will be his last mistake.

DeSantis can not be counted on to not be a sell out. When he had a chance he sold out to the Establishment to run against Trump. He has done many good things . However he is a fair weather friend.

Never been a fan of nepotism. I am reminded of the Bushes, Clintons, and the Kennedys. Not a fan of any of them. Isn't there anyone else?

Well, if this is the game, I'd pick Melania over her.

After she serves two terms in the House and two in the Senate, she may at that time be qualified... maybe not but most assuredly now she may be qualified to be President of the PTA and nothing more!

Well apparently she has Rush’s endorsement so why not lol. Did anyone else notice casey dressed like Jackie during Ron’s run for President? She’s off just a little bit. Liking of like Ron.

This is a huge mistake. She has no qualifications and Byron has many. JD Vance will kill off his chance at the WH anyway.

I have never been a fan of the family plan in political leadership.
I do not see what qualifies this lovely person to be Governor. It appears simply to be a way for the family to retain power. Which is creepy and not in the best interest of governance.

When desantis was running against President Trump...Greg Kelly of Newsmax...already had mrs. desantis' number...she is another Hillary Clinton.....hungry for power...and very "entitled"...in her mind....

Here's a different thought. DeSantis could continue his marvelous governorship through his wife.

I don't care if she is the most capable person in Florida, it is not a good look. Plus, the rumor mill is that he is running for Senate next so it just makes zero sense. Finally, they have small children...please focus on your family first, you will not get these years back.

I've seen nothing about this in legitimate news. This is Sundance doing his "I hate DeSantis" thing again. Pay no attention.
