It is often said that the future belongs to those who show up. And the most relevant way of showing up, is having children. Anecdotally, it has been obvious for a long time that conservatives are more likely to have children than liberals, and apt to have more children. But the data are clear, and getting clearer: I think it is totally rational for liberals to respond to President Trump’s election by not having children. I encourage them to stand firm in that decision. And never forget global warming! Who can contemplate bringing into being a new generation, when the Earth might get warmer? (Or colder, since it’s “climate change.”)

On very young USAF officer niece is currently pregnant with her second child, and I'll be urging them to have many more. And another niece has five beautiful children. Her husband is a USMC LtCol. Another has two children and her Green Beret husband is going to grad school to learn about AI for the USArmy. All are very conservative politically.

This is great to hear but I thing a more important point is that the TONE of the Country is being reset. For far too long the tone has been set by media who we have been convinced to "trust". And by extension to trust dems who the media support. We have found out that that trust has been misplaced. Further, it is being PROVEN that that trust has been misplaced. Media is collapsing and has lost power. The dems are going down with them. Trump is exposing government corruption and setting a new tone for the Country. And new "media" is starting to pick up the drum beat. But the new media is NOT in lockstep and expects results. So do the American People. Luckily, Trump is delivering and the tone is resonating with many, even Trump skeptics. And we are just getting going. This is transformative and once well under way will be continuous. The Left is going to find it impossible to reestablish a foothold. What will be left is a People's government, expressed through informed and fair voting. And best of all, the "tone" being set is not fixed. It is one of growth and accomplishment and freedom and will change to fit the times.

I remember an article in the WSJ years ago. Young couples in the red states have children. Women in the blue states do not. The Dems' brilliant solution was to open the door to illegal immigrants. Now the illegals are going home. Win-win.

Canada has won a thrilling contest in overtime 3-2 against the USA amidst a politically charged atmosphere in Boston. Conor McDavid's sudden death overtime strike gave Canada a thrilling 3-2 victory in the 4 Nations Face-Off final in what was a thrilling spectacle at a packed TD Garden, where resale tickets were going for as much as $2,300. Much of the added interest came as a result of the tense geopolitical stand-off between the two North American nations following President Donald Trump's incendiary remarks. Earlier in the day, Mr Trump reiterated that he intended to make Canada the 51st state of America,

After Hamas terrorists paraded the coffins of the Bibas children around Gaza before their Thursday release, it was hard to imagine that there was any room for the family’s tragic ordeal to get even worse. And yet, somehow it has. A short while ago, the Israel Defense Forces announced a forensics examination identified Kfir and Ariel Bibas (who were nine months old and four years old at the time of their abduction) as two of the bodies returned by Hamas, determining that they were brutally murdered in November 2023. While this tragic news was expected, another detail came as a shock: “During the identification process, it was determined

Are regular rideshare apps not thrilling enough for you? Need some excitement, or is it your fantasy to ride in a dark window-tinted SUV with an armed bodyguard like a scene out of “Succession?” Well, now you’re in luck. Protector is now available on the iOS and Mac App Store, offering rideshare services like we know with Uber and Lyft, but with a twist. Your ride comes with a personal “protector” in the form of former military and law enforcement professionals who are, of course, armed with guns. To describe the new app in simple terms, one mobile app advisor, Nikita Bier, took to X on Wednesday. “Over the last few months,

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday he had a “productive meeting” with retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who was acting as President Donald Trump’s envoy for Ukraine and Russia. The upbeat meeting seemed to scale back a growing confrontation between Zelensky and Trump over bilateral U.S. peace negotiations with Russia. “I had a productive meeting with Special Envoy Kellogg – a good discussion, many important details. I am grateful to the United States for all the assistance and bipartisan support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people,” Zelensky said on social media Thursday afternoon. “It’s important for us – and for the entire

Not too long ago, I decided to try a bold experiment. I returned to the University of Georgia to take some agriculture classes. The reason I considered it bold is that I was old enough to be many of the students' mothers (had I been an extremely young teen mom, of course). I learned a lot of lessons about this current generation of teens and twenty-somethings and how college has changed since my first go-round two decades prior, but what really threw me was when a professor asked for my pronouns. My class was given a virtual assignment to upload a video introduction of ourselves
Time to Cut Defense Spending 4 replies

In my opinion, there often is remarkably little correlation between spending and results. Our educational system is an obvious instance: the more we spend, the worse our schools get. I seriously believe that if we cut education spending by 50%, our kids would be better educated. This is a basic difference between liberals and conservatives. Conservatives measure results, while liberals measure inputs. Thus, if we want better schools–or a better military–the liberal solution is obvious: spend more money. Whether the money actually does any good is of little or no interest. When the checks are written, the liberal’s job is done. Which brings us to the Department of Defense:

During a Black History Month ceremony at the White House, Trump revealed that late NBA star Kobe Bryant, late boxing star Muhammad Ali and late civil rights icon and MLB pioneer Jackie Robinson will all be represented with statues in the garden. In addition to the legendary athletes getting statues, Trump announced multiple civil rights leaders in other fields, including Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Coretta Scott King and Frederick Douglass, will also get statues.

A second attempt by government unions to block the firing of government employees by the Trump administration has failed. A federal judge in Washington concluded that the unions did not have standing in the case. A federal judge on Thursday declined to issue a temporary restraining order pausing President Donald Trump’s moves to fire thousands of employees who are on probationary status or deemed nonessential, clearing a roadblock for the new administration as it attempts sweeping changes to downsize the federal government. U.S. District Judge Christopher R. Cooper, who was appointed by President Barack Obama, ruled against the National Treasury Employees Union and four other labor

Vice President JD Vance apparently isn’t interested in nostalgic history lessons — especially when they’re used to attack President Donald Trump’s stance on Ukraine. Early on Thursday morning, pro-Trump conservative historian Niall Ferguson provoked Vance’s anger by invoking former President George H.W. Bush’s famous condemnation of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990 to criticize the Trump administration’s current approach to Ukraine. Trump hardened his stance on Ukraine this week in a pivot that saw the country excluded from initial peace negotiations between the U.S. and Russia in Saudi Arabia. Criticism of Ukraine’s exclusion from the talks climaxed in the president branding Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Democratic Texas Rep. President Donald Trump expressed interest in handing out $5,000 dividend checks to every taxpayer with the money saved by the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) downsizing of the federal government. Crockett said she does not believe $5,000 will help out the average American and appeared to ignore the fact that the federal government has wasted billions of dollars in spending for several years.

President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday night barring illegal immigrants from receiving federally-funded benefits. “My Administration will uphold the rule of law, defend against the waste of hard-earned taxpayer resources, and protect benefits for American citizens in need, including individuals with disabilities and veterans,” read the text of Trump’s order. The president noted that the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA) ostensibly prohibits illegal immigrants from obtaining most taxpayer-funded benefits, but he argued that in the decades since its passage “numerous administrations have acted to undermine the principles and limitations directed by the Congress.”

On Tuesday, Elon Musk responded to a proposal from James Fishback, CEO of Azoria, regarding a unique idea: the “DOGE Dividend.” This initiative aims to issue a $5,000 tax refund check to approximately 79 million American families, funded by a projected total savings of $2 trillion from DOGE. Fishback emphasizes that this dividend would not only compensate taxpayers for the misuse of their dollars but also help restore trust in government accountability.Fishback’s argument is compelling: the DOGE Dividend represents a social contract between taxpayers and their government, a much-needed refund given the egregious waste uncovered. As Fishback puts it,
