David Hogg, the new vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), has had enough of Elon Musk’s ceaseless efforts to drain the swamp in Washington, DC, and restore accountability to those who have stewardship of U.S. taxpayer dollars.
He took to social media on Friday to decry Musk and point to the man he wants to replace him. Step forward former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
The DNC elected Hogg as vice chair this past weekend, lauding the 24-year-old as “one of the most compelling voices” of his generation.

On Thursday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said President Donald Trump is not sophisticated enough in terms of the intelligence community to understand what is happening when they comply with his executive orders. Pelosi said, “We are very proud of Hakeem Jeffries, our leader; he has given us guidance on our priorities of what we’re here to fight for, but also how we counter the Trump administration with litigation in the courts, legislation on the floor of the House, as well as communication and mobilization at the grassroots level.

Former USAID Administrator Samantha Power, the architect of the “Responsibility to Protect” doctrine (R2P) traveled to CBS HQ in New York for a late-night television appearance with Stephen Colbert. The purpose of Power’s appearance was to defend the institutional interests of her former agency, as USAID comes under scrutiny for ridiculous spending and manipulation of foreign and domestic politics.
Mrs. Power does her very best Sally Stuthers impersonation as she claims the only purpose of USAID is to facilitate charity and life-saving public health in “underserved nations” around the world.

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Thursday that “billions of dollars have been stolen at USAID and other agencies.”
Trump added, “This could be the biggest scandal of them all, perhaps the biggest in history. Democrats can’t hide from this one. Too big, too dirty.”
President Trump is referring to the billions of dollars allocated by USAID that never made it to people in need. other resources from USAID made it to NGOs who were organizing the invasion of America.

Big if true, as they say.
The Trump administration is considering three potential areas for the absorption of refugee Gazans after President Donald Trump announced that the US plans to take over the Gaza Strip and relocate those currently there to rebuild the area, N12 reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the areas being considered are Morocco, Puntland, and Somaliland.
The report noted that what these three countries share in common is a strong need for US support, as Somaliland and Puntland seek international recognition, and Morocco has an ongoing territorial dispute over Western Sahara.
Somaliland has been looking for recognition as an independent country.

In a decisive move to cleanse the swamp of bureaucratic resistance, President Donald Trump has officially fired Democrat Ellen Weintraub, the long-standing Commissioner and Chair of the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC).
Yet, in a display of blatant disrespect for the President’s authority, Weintraub has dug in her heels, refusing to vacate her position, claiming her dismissal is somehow illegal.
Weintraub was elected as chair last December 2024.
FEC commissioners are appointed to six-year terms by the president and confirmed by the Senate.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) joined a mob of dozens of House Democrats in harassing a Department of Education (DOE) employee who was tasked with blocking them from storming into the building on Friday.
In response to possible cuts to the DOE, around 30 Democrat members arrived at the department’s Washington, D.C. headquarters on Friday morning to demand a meeting with acting Sec. Denise L. Carter, but were stopped by a security staffer, Fox News reported. Dramatic footage captured by Newsmax cameras shows Waters, 86, yelling at the federal employee who was just doing his job:

Two members of the House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee decided to create more political theater over the Elon Musk/DOGE audit of the Department of the Treasury payments by crashing a private meeting between House Speaker Mike Johnson, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Jason Smith (R-MO).
Three guesses which party?
You do the math.
A pair of House Democrats barged into House Speaker Mike Johnson’s office at the Capitol on Wednesday demanding answers on why Elon Musk’s government efficiency team has access to taxpayers’ data.
Reps. Judy Chu of California and Gwen Moore of Wisconsin barreled into the speaker’s office

On Saturday the U.S. Army released the name of the second pilot—reported to have been pilot in command—of the Blackhawk helicopter that collided with American Airlines flight 5342 over the Potomac River, killing 67 people. This was a marked departure from Army policy that states “Names, city, and state of deceased will be withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.” This was the standard process used to identify the other two members of the Army’s flight crew, Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Eaves, and Staff Sgt. Ryan O'Hara. It is the same process used to identify soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan—a process I followed as a military

Bishop Mariann Budde, who famously criticized Trump during an inaugural prayer service, has been found to have pocketed a staggering $53 million in taxpayer funds through her organization, Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM).
This bombshell comes as no surprise to those who see through the sanctimonious veneer of left-wing religious leaders who preach compassion while filling their coffers with public money.
Bishop Budde, during an inaugural prayer service at Washington National Cathedral, implored President Trump to show compassion towards vulnerable groups, including illegal aliens and members of the LGBTQ community.

Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) suggested the House Oversight Committee consider bringing in therapy dogs to help Democrats cope during a hearing on Wednesday. And wouldn't you know it? Thursday's hearing featured some adorable pups.
Not strictly for the reasons one might think.
Mr. Crane, during a hearing on 'Rightsizing Government,' noticed that his Democrat colleagues had become a little verklempt over the idea that Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team have been making efforts to slash government waste and fraud.
In fact, earlier in the hearing, the resistance party tried to catch GOP lawmakers off guard by calling for a vote to subpoena Musk.
