Longtime Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd has announced he is leaving NBC News before his contract is reportedly set to expire. 'There's never a perfect time to leave a place that's been a professional home for so long, but I'm pretty excited about a few new projects,' Todd wrote in a memo sent to fellow staffers on Friday. 'So, I'm grateful for the chance to get a jump start on my next chapter during this important moment,' he went on.

FTA: 'The media has a lot of work to do to win back the trust of viewers/listeners/readers and I'm convinced the best place to start is from the bottom up." That's right Chuckie and your resignation is a good start to bringing back trust. Now, your replacement, that chick Kristin Welker or whatever her name is, she should be next. The broad's performance in the debates was unprofessional and her bias against Trump was sickening. This babe should just wear a "I hate Trump" sign around her neck. These frauds cannot leave fast enough. And I hope as each one leaves, the MSM will continue to collapse.

WASHINGTON — Tennessee Valley Authority CEO Jeff Lyash — the highest-paid federal employee with a compensation package of $10.5 million per year — abruptly announced Friday that he was retiring 11 days after the return to office of President Trump, who during his first term slammed Lyash’s “ridiculous” pay and vowed to fire him. “Sounds like Lyash got DOGE’d,” a senior administration official told The Post, referring to Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency initiative to rein in allegedly wasteful federal spending. A TVA rep denied that Lyash was departing either in response to or to get ahead of pressure from Trump’s team after six years in the job.

It was one of Donald Trump’s most controversial nominations. Pete Hegseth being selected to run the Pentagon as our next secretary of defense caused liberal America to melt down, leading to a prolonged media assault on his character based on zero evidence. Even then, the allegations were weak sauce, which was mainly grounded in unfounded rumors that he was wasted on the job and committed a sexual assault in 2017. All of which are inaccurate.

But Bannon took his criticism even further last week, telling an Italian newspaper that he will take the billionaire down before Trump's Inauguration day this month. The comments were basically a declaration of war against the Tesla, SpaceX and X boss who has strategically placed himself within the innermost circle of the incoming president and the latest in Bannon's attacks on him. His few indictments so far have been directed against peripheral players, feeding a fear among Donald Trump’s supporters that elites higher up the stack are going to get away with their chicanery.

It happens a lot: You’ll hear about a new movie or TV show with a really cool, totally original premise, but alas, the writers and actors fumbled the football in the execution. The first few minutes are promising, but you quickly realize that the script’s premise far exceeded the participants’ talents. It’s frustrating and annoying. An example of this is the 1995 supernatural thriller “The Prophecy,” starring Christopher Walken and Viggo Mortensen, where humans discover a “lost” chapter in the Book of Revelation: Joseph: What is it? Thomas Daggett: Twenty-third chapter of Saint John's Revelations. Joseph: And? Thomas Daggett: There is no twenty-third chapter. Joseph: Well, maybe this is the Teacher's Edition.
