One of the DOJ’s top dogs was on the ground in Chicago during deportation raids this weekend to look for possible interference by officials in the sanctuary city, a DOJ official tells The Post.
Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove traveled to the Windy City over the weekend after threatening to investigate and potentially prosecute sanctuary leaders who “obstruct” ICE operations.
ICE, alongside other federal agencies including the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), arrested illegal migrant criminals in pre-dawn raids Sunday, which were also observed by border czar Tom Homan.
The operation yielded 100 arrests. The feds only notified local cops of the general areas of their raids,

President Donald Trump settled with Meta Platforms for $25 million after the social media giant suspended his accounts following the January 6, 2021, protests at the US Capitol.
$22 million from the settlement will go to President Trump’s presidential library. The rest will go to legal fees and to fellow plaintiffs who signed on to the case.
Meta did not admit to any wrongdoing in the settlement.
The Wall Street Journal reported that activity on the case after Mark Zuckerberg flew to Mar-a-Lago to dine with President Trump in November after his 2024 election victory.

“Grasping at straws” doesn’t even begin to properly define The Washington Post’s latest barking mad line of attack against X owner Elon Musk: Virtue-signaling on his video game ethics. The seriousness of Post technology reporter Drew Harwell’s insane 1,694-word agitprop against Musk to rile up the gamers across the cyberverse could be summed up by his headline: “Does Elon Musk cheat at video games? An investigation.” Yes, he actually called this an “investigation.” The piece just went downhill from there: “The world’s richest man has admitted to paying to boost his online warriors into global leaderboards, raising questions about his gaming prowess — and his need for digital praise.”

As we've been covering, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been weighing in an awful lot about Elon Musk's salute to the crowd last Monday during a rally for President Donald Trump's inauguration. The congresswoman, other Democrats, and their allies in the mainstream media insisted Musk did a Nazi salute. Failed vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) also chimed in during Tuesday's episode of "The Rachel Maddow Show" on MSNBC. He may find himself in trouble for it too, especially if Musk sues.

Reports of the pro-life movement’s death have been greatly exaggerated.
JD Vance spoke in person at the March for Life last week, becoming only the second sitting vice president to do so.
President Trump recorded a video for the occasion, in which he vowed to “stop the radical Democrat push for a federal right to unlimited abortion on demand up to the moment of birth and even after birth.”He also pardoned 23 protesters convicted of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances, or FACE, Act during Joe Biden’s presidency — including Paula Harlow, a 75-year-old woman sentenced to two years in federal prison for blocking access to an abortion clinic.

President Donald Trump, who made the deportation of migrants a central part of his campaign and presidency, said Wednesday that the U.S. will use a detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to hold tens of thousands of people who can’t be sent back to their home countries.
“We’re going to send them out to Guantanamo,” Trump said at at the signing of the Laken Riley Act.
Here’s a look at the U.S. naval base and its history:
How does the U.S. government use the base at Guantanamo Bay?
While the U.S. naval base in Cuba is best-known for the suspects brought in after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, it also has

So this is what passes for a 'profile in courage' among Kennedys these days: sanctimoniously calling out an inconvenient cousin while ignoring all the sins of your lecherous father — plus your grandfather who lobotomized his own daughter.
And that's just for starters.
The day before her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s confirmation hearing to be our Health and Human Services Secretary, Camelot's would-be princess Caroline Kennedy did something generations of Kennedys have been raised not to do: she turned on one of her own.

President Trump has directed that the US military prison complex at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, be used to detain criminal aliens pending repatriation to their home nation or some other destination. Using the occasion of the official signing of the Laken Riley Act (Wednesday Morning Minute: May the MAHA Be With You – RedState), President Trump directed the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to work together to refurbish a 30,000-bed migrant detention center at Guantanamo for use.

Coldspring, Texas — A court in East Texas sentenced a four-time deported illegal alien to life in prison without the possibility of parole after he pleaded guilty to the murders of five Honduran migrants near Cleveland, Texas, in April 2023. The Mexican national pleaded guilty to Capital Murder in exchange for the sentence.
San Jacinto County District Attorney Todd Dillon said the plea resolves all of the cases that came out of an incident on the night of April 28, 2023, when Francisco Torres Oropeza murdered five of his neighbors. Dillon said the plea will ensure that Oropeza will remain in the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice

Democrats really don't know what to do at this point.
President Donald Trump has come in with what's like a "shock and awe" campaign, hitting so many things at the same time to change all the bad that Joe Biden and the Democrats did that the Democrats can't even keep up. Trump had four years to think about it and organize, so he's hit the ground running.
So far, the Democrats haven't been able to do much, with the Trump team on fire. The new administration has made major changes already in securing the border, for example, with the numbers dropping to incredibly low numbers,

As Democrat senators continued their interrogation of President Trump’s choice for Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Bernie Sanders (Socialist-VT) came absolutely unglued.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, RFK Jr. appeared this morning to testify before the Senate Finance Committee to make his case as Trump’s pick for Secretary of Health and Human Services. RFK Jr., Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard will sit for hearings this week.
Earlier, Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) set out from the beginning to conduct a massive character assassination on RFK Jr..
