Rain has finally returned to wildfire-scorched Los Angeles — but now officials are warning flooding and landslides could wreak more chaos on the battered city along its “burn scars.”
The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for the area from 4 p.m. Sunday to 4 p.m. Monday, with the danger focused on regions where the Palisades, Eaton and other fires previously raged.
“There is an increased risk of heavier rain rates and/or thunderstorms for many areas south of Point Conception, particularly Sun afternoon through Mon afternoon,” the National Weather Service Los Angeles said.

Deportations will continue every day and culminate in millions of illegal migrants being jettisoned from the US, as President Trump promised during the 2024 campaign, border czar Tom Homan says.
Homan, 63, declared Sunday that everyone who is in the US illegally is “on the table” for deportation and praised the Trump administration for sending a “strong signal to the world: Our border is closed.”
Homan — asked on ABC News’ “This Week,” “Is that going to be a constant commitment from the US military every single day to take deportees out?” — responded, “Yes.” (Photo)

Colombian President Gustavo Petro backed down on his declaration that he would not accept deportation flights from the United States. He now says he will send his presidential plane to personally pick up the deported migrants, a U.S. official with knowledge on the matter told Breitbart News.
The Colombian president’s backpedaling came after President Donald Trump announced he would impose numerous sanctions—including “emergency 25% tariffs”—on Colombia in response to Petro’s reversal of his promise to accept deportation flights. On Sunday, Petro — who initially said he would accept deportation flights from the U.S. but then refused to receive two flights containing a total of 160 deportable migrants — suggested

In this episode of "The Sniveling Nonsense of Adam Schiff"...
In the unlikely event that California Democrat Senator Adam Schiff has ever missed an opportunity to make a fool out of himself, I'm not aware of it. From continually promising (lying) to reveal smoking-gun evidence that Hunter Biden's infamous laptop was a Russian plot — which he never produced — to outrageous unfounded charges about the Jan. 6 Capitol ,to now beclowning himself as President Donald Trump's deportation of illegal aliens gets underway, the ever-smug Schiff is all over it.
Schiff whined on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday that deporting illegals who steal is “terrible overreach.”

Governor JB Pritzker (D-IL) Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” warned the Trump administration that his local law enforcement “will stand up for those law-abiding, undocumented people” facing deportation.
Host Dana Bash said, “How are you preparing, particularly if they do target schools, churches and small businesses as they are now allowed to do?”Pritzker said, “Well, let me start by being clear that when we’re talking about violent criminals who have been convicted and who are undocumented, we don’t want them in our state. We want them out of the country. We hope they do get deported. And if that’s who they’re picking up, we’re all for it.

Federal agents rounded dozens of members of Tren de Aragua in an overnight raid on a “makeshift nightclub” in Denver — after the vicious Venezuelan prison gang terrorized the city and the suburb of Aurora.
The DEA said agents in Colorado interrupted an “invite-only party” where dozens of the gangbangers were cutting lose in Adams County — just outside Denver city limits.
The busts netted cash, weapons, guns and drugs — including Tusi or “pink cocaine,” a powerful narcotic that the gang has played a major role in distributing across the US.
Video released by the DEA’s Rocky Mountain Division showed a white bus full of the busted gang members being escorted

FIRST ON FOX: President Donald Trump’s executive order terminating all federal diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs has already sidelined 395 government bureaucrats, a senior administration official told Fox News Digital.
Trump’s newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), headed up by Elon Musk, wrote on X Friday that approximately $420 million in current/impending contracts, mainly focused on DEI initiatives, had also been canceled.
After Trump signed the order on the day of his inauguration, the federal Office of Personnel Management (OPM) notified heads of agencies and departments that they must begin taking steps to close all DEI offices by the end of the day Wednesday, and place government workers

Vice President JD Vance appeared on Face The Nation for his first TV interview since being sworn into office and shined as one would expect despite an expectedly hostile Margaret Brennan.
Brennan and Vance discussed several issues throughout their interview including cabinet nominations, immigration, disaster relief, and the J6 pardons. One moment that is garnering significant attention is the devoutly Catholic Vance calling out the US Conference of Catholic Bishops for their ridiculous statement on immigration enforcement.
Last week, the Trump Administration rescinded a guideline issued under the Biden regime which barred ICE from conducting enforcement in or near so-called “sensitive” areas.

The CIA's decision to release a Biden-era assessment favoring the once widely-dismissed COVID-19 lab-leak origin story marks a step toward transparency with the American people, newly-confirmed CIA Director John Ratcliffe told Fox News on Sunday.
Speaking in his first interview since being confirmed as the agency's director last Thursday, Ratcliffe spelled out the insights he made public shortly after taking over the post and affirmed the importance of restoring trust in American institutions.
"I had the opportunity on my first day to make public an assessment that actually took place in the Biden administration, so it can't be accused of being political, and the CIA has assessed that the most likely cause

In a major victory for law and order, federal narcotics agents arrested approximately 50 illegal aliens during a high-stakes drug trafficking raid in Adams County, Colorado, on Sunday.
According to officials, many of those apprehended have ties to the notorious Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua.
The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Rocky Mountain Division, in collaboration with metro Denver law enforcement agencies and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Denver, executed the early morning raid at an illegal makeshift nightclub operating in the area.

A young black woman recently recorded a vulgar rant calling for the assassination of President Trump and falsely claiming that “maybe, if you shoot him, maybe the next president will give you a pardon for it, and you’ll be released out of jail.”
“We’re not doing that grazing his skin, his ear s***, okay? We’re going full-blown Lincoln, full-blown Kennedy right now,” the woman said.
“I don’t give a f*** anymore. I mean, you obviously know that because I’m posting this,” she continues. “Someone get up there. I need someone with precision that knows what they’re doing.”
It is unclear exactly when the clip was recorded, but she references the attempted assassination

This is the Trump effect, baby!
However, within hours of Trump issuing a retaliatory threat to Colombia President Gustavo Petro, his stance changed. Petro backed down from Trump and said he would offer to send a presidential plane to repatriate deportees from the U.S. to avoid Trump's sanctions threat.
Original post:
President Donald Trump is retaliating against Colombia after the country rejected U.S. deportation flights carrying illegal immigrants. In a sharp retaliation, the Trump administration has announced a series of measures to pressure Colombia to comply, including suspending certain diplomatic and trade arrangements.
