President Donald Trump, as expected, has signed an executive order revoking the security clearances of 51 intelligence officers who signed a letter portraying Hunter Biden’s laptop as ‘Russian disinformation’ before the 2020 presidential election. The order also authorizes further investigation into those involved in the publication of the infamous letter. It requires the "Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency" to "revoke any current or active clearances" of the listed 51 individuals. Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Directors Mike Hayden, John Brennan, and Leon Panetta, and former National Security Advisor John Bolton are on the list.

I’m sure that all of you remember how ABC and George Stephanopoulos entered into a $15 million settlement with Donald Trump, plus providing an apology, after George S repeatedly called Donald Trump a “rapist.” Trump was never tried or found guilty of rape, and calling him a “rapist” was and is pure defamation. (And that’s entirely separate from the peculiarities in E. Jean Carroll’s narrative.) It seems, though, that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (“AOC”) missed out on that whole $15 million dollars thing. On Sunday, in one of a series of anti-Trump rants, AOC explicitly called Trump a rapist.

As we all knew would happen, Biden’s last act was to pardon every bad actor in his administration. This is hypocritical, to say the least, given his government’s vindictive pursuit of everyone in the Trump administration, including Trump himself. However, even worse than that, it sets a dangerous precedent that can destroy the American Constitution—and no, I’m not exaggerating. So, here’s the top line from Fox News: "President Biden pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley, and others who some speculated may have faced investigations under the incoming Trump administration on Monday. Biden's pardons come just hours before he is set to depart

When Donald Trump takes the oath of office today, he will do something no president has managed in modern times. He’s getting a second chance to make a first impression. Normally, when a president enters his second term, the country is already tired of him. He’s a lame duck. He struggles with whether to keep certain people on or find fresh blood, which usually results in the B-team taking over. Everyone immediately starts talking about the next presidential race. Scandals tend to surface. Today, Trump'ss like a breath of fresh air after a long, dark, and dreary winter. The team

Anybody who wants to explain how bad the Biden administration is has to start with COVID. As such, we knew a few things early on in the pandemic, and they were as follows: The average age of death from the virus was in the 80s. It had almost zero effect on young people and children. Most people who died from it had three or more co-morbidities — that is, they were old as hell, fat as a hog, and really liked smoking, or drinking, or cancer. It was in the same class of virus as the common cold. Once we knew these things, especially the last one, the obvious thing to do

In his last address, Joe Biden offered a Parthian shot at “oligarchs” and the dangers these “billionaires” pose to the republic. (Snip) Third, quite unlike Biden, Trump is leveraging support from “billionaires,” many of whom have not donated to his campaign and were not previously his political supporters. His appeal to them is not, as alleged, to further the Trump one-term presidency in political terms. Rather, Trump, in his brief four years, has enlisted “billionaires” like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, David Sachs, and Mark Andresen in the way that Franklin Roosevelt, in 1941-1942, reached out to his other party’s millionaire captains of industry to fuel a Depression-era-recovering economy

Among the first, most urgent, orders of business for President Donald J. Trump should be to create a Maganomics "Manhattan Project" to develop a nuclear fusion reactor superior to China's tokamak. Communist China, which has a head-start, has just helped place a tokamak in Thailand. This century's great clean-energy revolution is science's newest frontier: producing inexpensive, unlimited energy through nuclear fusion. It is done in containers, called tokamaks, giant nuclear reactors to make and store it. Smaller reactors "barely 3 feet across" are already being developed in the US, including one in Idaho and two in northern Nevada.

You’re going to see executive orders that are going to make you extremely happy, lots of them,” Trump told the crowd at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Among the most notable still to come are Kash Patel (FBI), RFK Jr. (Health Human Services), and Tulsi Gabbard (National Intelligence). I have listened to longish bits of several of the hearings. I think there are two main takeaways from the festivities. One is the coordinated, ideologically fired attack-dog tactics of the Democrats.
