In a surprising move, just minutes before President Donald Trump was officially sworn in for his second term, FBI Director Paul Abbate announced his retirement. The timing of his departure, coinciding with the beginning of a new administration, raised eyebrows, particularly given the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the FBI’s actions during the last eight years. Abbate, who had served as deputy director before taking the helm, left behind a bureau at the center of political controversy, leaving many to wonder about the potential implications for the agency under the incoming administration.

President Trump entered the Commander-in-Chief ball with first lady Melania Trump to a thunderous ovation as the inaugural events continued late into the night on Monday.
The 54-year-old first lady dazzled the crowd as she walked out in a striking black-and-white strapless gown, white high-heeled shoes and black choker with an elegant broach resembling a floral bouquet affixed to it. (Photo) The dress was reportedly designed by Hervé Pierre, the same couturier behind Melania’s 2017 Inauguration ball dress.
Trump, wearing a black tuxedo and bow tie, promptly began dancing with his wife at the event aimed at military service members.

Demonstrators rally outside the Central Detention Facility, also known as the D.C. Jail, after President Donald Trump pardoned and commuted thousands sentences of of participants in the January 6 Capitol riot.
Trump pardoned or commuted the sentences of around 1,500 protesters involved in the January 6 riot after referring to them as “hostages” and “political prisoners” at times on Inauguration Day. Former President Joe Biden announced preemptive pardons for Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley, and members of the January 6 committee on Monday as one of his last acts, as well as blanket pardons for multiple members of his own family.

As the Gateway Pundit reported earlier today, Joe Biden issued a number of questionable preemptive pardons on his way out the door to members of his family as well as Tony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and the entire J6 Select Committee.
The stench of corruption on display here is so obvious that even some major Democrat figures are speaking out.
Mark Penn is a former Clinton pollster and he published a lengthy screed on Twitter/X, absolutely slamming Joe Biden for doing this.
Penn’s tweet reads: The last straw
Last minute pardons for Biden’s political accomplices were the plan all along.

What a day it has been, fellow patriots.
Donald Trump is the 47th president of the United States. (X) He issued a slew of executive orders to undo the damage done by Joe Biden over the last four years, declaring the southern border situation a national emergency, nuked wasteful federal DEI programs, and withdrew again from the Paris Climate Treaty. (X Video) It’s just the beginning of how this administration will set us back on track, back to greatness and national revival. Yet, after the ceremonies, Trump attended the various balls last evening,

John F. Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, questioned whether Vice President JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, was “hotter” than his grandmother Jackie Kennedy.
“True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O?” the political correspondent asked his followers via X during President Trump’s inauguration ceremony Monday.
One user responded to Schlossberg, arguing that Usha was “a little hotter than Jackie,” writing, “I think we can both agree that they are two *very* foxy ladies, am I right Jack, my man???”

President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, was tough to miss in the Capitol Rotunda for his father’s inauguration ceremony, but it was where he was standing that drew particular attention.
A video circulating online shows the 6-foot, 7-inch Trump scion positioned nearly perfectly behind the podium bearing the presidential seal, appearing stoic and poised in a dark tailored suit complete with an American flag lapel pin.
The clip shows the 18-year-old surveying the crowd, and offering a polite smile and wave to an unseen audience member like a politician in waiting, a marble statue of Ulysses S. Grant in the background adding gravitas to the imagery.

January 6th political prisoners have been languishing in prisons across America for the past four years, many without a trial. Many of them never had a criminal record, many never committed a single act of violence, including on January 6, 2021, and most of them have had their lives destroyed by the Democrat Party machine’s punishing injustice system. (Photo) In addition to shining a bright light on Joe Biden’s dirty system of “justice” by giving them a voice on their popular website, The Gateway Pundit has exposed the truth behind the brutal and avoidable murders

Billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was a special guest of President Trump’s inauguration today. Along with other billionaire tech giants, Bezos surprisingly followed the lead of the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, and embraced President Trump in the final months of his campaign. Bezos attended President Trump’s inauguration with his fiancé Lauren Sanchez, who forgot her blouse before heading out the door.
The cameras followed Sanchez and Bezos as they entered the room and found their seats behind President Trump’s family.

A Presidential Pardon does not take effect unless the suspect accepts it. That according to a little known, 1915 ruling from the Supreme Court, once accepted, the pardon serves as an “imputation of guilt,” or what’s more commonly known as an admission. Because accepting the pardon is “essential to it’s validity,” I am demanding the Biden family, Dr. Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley, the members of the J6 Committee and everyone else Biden unsurprisingly pardoned declare their acceptance of the pardon publicly. Because, according to the Supreme Court, it would also serve as a declaration of guilt.

Minutes after President Donald Trump's inaugural address ended, the CBP One app used by the Biden administration to allow nearly a million illegal aliens to enter the United States was heavily changed. As of now, folks can do things like check border crossing wait times, request an inspection of agricultural or biological products, or submit a manifest for bus travelers, but illegal aliens cannot use it essentially receive blanket humanitarian parole. Fox News' Bill Melugin, who's spent a good portion of the last four years along the southern border, made the discovery. (X)

Several leftist nonprofit organizations have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration just hours after President Donald Trump was sworn in on Monday. The complaint centers on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a non-government advisory group headed by X owner Elon Musk to slash government spending. A group of nonprofit organizations, including the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), the American Public Health Association (APHA), and several others,
