Stricter Controls for Citizenship

The Government has today decided to assign the Migration Agency the task of "swiftly taking further and powerful measures" to ensure that the requirements in citizenship cases are upheld. "It is currently in practice impossible to revoke a citizenship, says Migration Minister Johan Forssell (M)." "It underlines the importance of never granting Swedish citizenship to individuals who may pose a threat to Swedish security." The Migration Agency already tightened controls in 2024 to detect potential security threats. The additional measures the Government now wants to see are motivated by the serious security situation and the increased risk of security-threatening individuals coming to Sweden.

Great comments. The Free World must find a way to deal with the many issues surrounding the destruction of Societies from Immigrants. Not all immigrants, but some Immigrants. If they were not naturally born by one or two generations and cannot cooperate, maybe revoking citizenship should be considered. 'Send back them!' - Felipe Calderone (former Pres of Mexico)

Finnish President Alexander Stubb said on Tuesday that his country had stopped the crew of a Russia-linked oil tanker just minutes before it caused catastrophic damage to undersea cables in the Baltic Sea."Had it continued for another 12 minutes, the carnage would have been much worse than the four basic cables that were there," Stubb told reporters at this week's Baltic-focused NATO summit in Helsinki. The tanker, the Eagle S, was seized in late December as Finland probed recent damage to its Estlink-2 power line, one of two vital cables carrying electricity in the Baltic Sea.

Tucker Carlson has made a shocking claim about the mysterious drones that plagued New Jersey for over a month, saying they were controlled by Chinese mothership satellite. The first sightings appeared over the Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway and President-elect Donald Trump's golf course in Bedminster in November, followed by thousands more in the skies. While the US government was quick to dismiss claims they were foreign adversaries, Carlson claimed he was told otherwise. He said 'an intel person' told him that the drones 'were in fact Chinese,' explaining the US government took down a Chinese satellite 'that was a command and control satellite for these drones.'

Embattled Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley has been accused of harassment and retaliation by a former top city official who claims she was fired for calling out her alleged misconduct and 'failures of leadership.' [SNIP] Among her complaints were Crowley allegedly not promoting people on merit, failing to consistently enforce rules and regulations impartially, badgering and neglecting civilian staff, and violating city contract procedures and ethics rules. Park claims Crowley and Saunders then began 'retaliating' against her by trying to embarrass her in front of command staff to 'intimidate her into silence', ordering her colleagues not to engage with her.

As the Los Angeles Fire Department faced extraordinary warnings of life-threatening winds, top commanders decided not to assign for emergency deployment roughly 1,000 available firefighters and dozens of water-carrying engines in advance of the fire that destroyed much of the Pacific Palisades and continues to burn. [SNIP] Fire officials chose not to order the firefighters to remain on duty for a second shift last Tuesday as the winds were building — which would have doubled the personnel on hand — and staffed just five of more than 40 engines that are available to aid in battling wildfires, according to the records obtained by The Times.

I remember the bumper stickers of “Vietnam veterans are sleeping on the street while a draft dodger sleeps in the White House” from the Clinton era. Like so many things that people used to be outraged about, that sort of thing became normalized as Republicans gave way and accepted that as the new moral order of things. Biden then helped normalize it further by naming an aircraft carrier after Bill Clinton. Since there’s a vessel named after Harvey Milk, a pedophile, naming Navy vessels after sex predators has been covered. As a basic matter of course, nothing should be named after living people. There should be no Obama streets.

Donald Trump announced the creation of a powerful new government agency that will collect billions of dollars in taxes and tariffs from foreign countries. The brand new agency - cleverly titled the External Revenue Service - does the exact opposite of the already established Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which taxes Americans. It's the second department that Trump has unilaterally created after tapping billionaire Elon Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to lead DOGE. ‘I am today announcing that I will create the EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE to collect our Tariffs, Duties, and all Revenue that come from Foreign sources,’ Trump wrote on social media.

Nearly 1,000 people have signed an online petition calling on a cinema in Brooklyn to stop screening a film about the Munich massacre during the 1972 Summer Olympics. September 5, directed by Tim Fehlbaum, follows the terrorist attack carried out by the Palestinian militant organisation Black September. [SNIP] A petition organised by a group of New York cinema workers is calling on the cinema to stop platforming the film and has amassed more than 1,000 signatures. The workers describe the film as “Zionist propaganda”, which misrepresents the militants who carried out the massacre as “antisemitic terrorists”.

McDonald's is being sued over a program that grants scholarships to Latino students, a move that came days after the fast-food giant ditched some of its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies. The American Alliance for Equal Rights, which challenges race-based preference and discrimination, alleges the McDonald's HACER program discriminates against certain high school students. Last week, McDonald's said it would adjust some of its DEI policies, which critics have deemed "woke."

Sweden has the highest sexual assault rates in the EU. When researchers tried to unravel the cause of the sexual assault epidemic in the country they discovered that “first- and second-generation immigrants constituted the majority of the rape offenders”. Over half of immigrant sex offenders came from the Middle East and Africa. In Malmo, the largest ‘Muslim city’ in Sweden and Europe, where a quarter of the population is Muslim, the study found that 71% of the convicted rapists were immigrants. Swedish authorities tried to prosecute the female lead researcher for releasing those numbers. [SNIP] Muslims have been responsible for some 40,000 sexual assaults in a country of only 10 million.

Former first lady Michelle Obama is set to snub President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration next Monday after skipping former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral last week — where she would have sat next to the one and future commander-in-chief. “Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former first lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration,” the Office of Barack and Michelle Obama said in a statement to the Associated Press. The former first lady’s team did not provide a reason for skipping the inauguration, but Michelle Obama, 60, has been an impassioned critic of Trump, 78, over the past eight years.

During the California leg of a year-long journey across America, I devoted a day to visiting two presidential libraries within a short distance of each other. I started that morning at the Richard Nixon Presidential Museum and Library and a few hours later proceeded to that of Ronald Reagan. Some months earlier I had also stopped at the Harry Truman Library and Museum in Missouri. Every president is actively encouraged to plan and construct an official repository of his documents from his time in office. The resulting library is more than the collection of the paperwork generated during his tenure, however.

It looks like Kamala Harris's classy streak is over. For awhile there, we thought something had changed in her when she graciously certified the 2024 election in the Senate and put on a decent appearance at Jimmy Carter's funeral. It seemed like a politically smart way of distinguishing herself from bitter Joe Biden and preserving her political viability. But now the old Kamala is back, classless as ever, refusing to give the incoming vice president, J.D. Vance and his young family, a courtesy tour of the Naval Observatory, which serves as the vice presidential residence. She even could have proudly shown him all the renovations she had done.

Michelle Obama is skipping Donald Trump’s inauguration because she’s “no phony,” we’re told. While her husband appears to be playing nice with the president-elect, Michelle won’t do the same. Former President Barack Obama and Trump appeared chummy at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral, but Michelle was nowhere in sight because she was reportedly on an “extended holiday vacation” in Hawaii. (Photo) She isn’t even giving an excuse for Jan. 20. The Office of Barack and Michelle Obama simply announced that Michelle “will not attend the upcoming inauguration,” in a statement to the Associated Press on Tuesday. And a source familiar with the Obamas’ circle told Page Six it’s “deliberate.”

WASHINGTON - U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith concluded that Donald Trump engaged in an "unprecedented criminal effort" to hold on to power after losing the 2020 election, but was thwarted in bringing the case to trial by the president-elect's November election victory, according to a report published on Tuesday. The report details Smith's decision to bring a four-count indictment against Trump, accusing him of plotting to obstruct the collection and certification of votes following his 2020 defeat by Democratic President Joe Biden. It concludes that the evidence would have been enough to convict Trump at trial, but his imminent return to the presidency, set for Jan. 20, made that impossible.

WASHINGTON — Retiring President Biden lifted Cuba’s designation as a state sponsor of terrorism Tuesday, less than a week before leaving office — outraging Republican members of Congress who believe more stringent sanctions should remain in effect. Biden, 82, made the decision in deference to the Catholic Church’s talks with the island’s Communist authorities on releasing political prisoners, the White House said. “We view this as an opportune moment to do so, given the important dialogue that is taking place between Cuba and the Catholic Church with respect to political prisoners,” a Biden administration official told reporters.

Mediators from the United States and Qatar said Israel and the Palestinian militant group were at the closest point yet to sealing a deal to bring them a step closer to ending 15 months of war. The Associated Press obtained a copy of the proposed agreement, and an Egyptian official and a Hamas official confirmed its authenticity. Officials have expressed cautious optimism that a deal could soon be announced to halt 15 months of fighting that has destabilized the Middle East and devastated Gaza, allow for more aid into the besieged Palestinian enclave, and ensure the return of dozens of hostages held by Hamas since its attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Is there a connection between Castro, Inc. and the fires that are ravaging Los Angeles? Yes, definitely. Karen Bass, the city’s mayor, has not only visited Cuba numerous times while serving in public office here in the U.S., but also volunteered to harvest sugarcane with the Venceremos Brigade organized by Fidel Castro in 1969, which served as a training program for leftist American agitators, spies, and terrorists. And when Fidel Castro died in 2016, she whined loudly about what “a great loss to the Cuban people” the passing of their “commander in chief” was.
