No One Wants A Biden Presidential Library

Original Article

During the California leg of a year-long journey across America, I devoted a day to visiting two presidential libraries within a short distance of each other. I started that morning at the Richard Nixon Presidential Museum and Library and a few hours later proceeded to that of Ronald Reagan. Some months earlier I had also stopped at the Harry Truman Library and Museum in Missouri. Every president is actively encouraged to plan and construct an official repository of his documents from his time in office. The resulting library is more than the collection of the paperwork generated during his tenure, however.

A Biden Presidential Library would turn into a sinecure for Biden’s family in which they would ensconce themselves in long term, well paying no-show jobs just like they are already doing with the scam Beau Biden Foundation. Not one adult in the Biden Crime Family has a real job.

I love Presidential Libraries, and Presidential history as well. Last year I visited the FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Carter, and Reagan Libraries. But I have little interest in a potential Biden Library. If past is prologue, if he does get one, it will be a cardboard box in his garage next to his Corvette. Or else it could just be one of those Little Libraries planted on his front lawn stocked with vacation brochures.

The Trump Library should be in a big open place so a city can be built around it. Kinda like what Orlando was like 50 years ago. Everything was built after Disneyland.

Many of the illegally held documents Smith and the FBI found at two of his offices, two of his homes, and at his Lawyers office were sent to the Biden Library, the rest were sent to the Obama Library....rather than to the "Secret Records Prosecution Team".

The article encapsulates how I perceive Joe Biden's career. He is offensively mediocre. I'd argue that it actually takes a certain level of skill and charisma to attain the title of "The Worst". He's a big nothing. And the article reminded me of when Senator Ted Kennedy died. It was meant to be a big deal, but nobody was lining the streets as his casket passed by. And the media had to keep the camera tight on it to hide the fact nobody was there and nobody cared.

Isn't that comical. You need donors to fund the library and doubtful anyone will be "backing" 'Ol Joe any time soon. I've visited the Nixon, Reagan and Carter libraries and they are all informative and enlightening. Hope to go to more and don't care if it's a D or an R either. Suggest you go if you can. The funny part of Joe packing up his papers and stuff right now is the Archives will hold them, and he better have ALL of them returned too.

Independence Day, observed annually on July 4, is a national holiday that honors the ratification of the Declaration of Independence. This pivotal document marked the founding of the United States of America and its liberation from British tyranny and oppression. In the mid-1990s, a song with the same title was awarded Country Music Song of the Year. Performed by Martina McBride, it celebrates a woman’s liberation from her abusive husband. What are the commonalities? Oppression and abuse. Is anyone else sensing a strong stench of these in America, what used to be a shining city on a hill?

Pete Hegseth, President-elect Trump’s choice for Defense secretary, on Tuesday emerged largely unscathed from an at times blistering confirmation hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Democratic lawmakers on the panel took aim at Hegseth’s lack of experience leading an agency as large and complex as the Pentagon, claims related to his treatment of women and excessive drinking, and his past comments on the role of women in the military. Multiple Democrats also expressed concerns that an FBI background check on Hegseth, an Army veteran, left out crucial details about major allegations levied against him. The report was viewed by the panel’s top two members on Friday.

Envy is an ugly thing -- one of the seven deadly sins. One reason for this success: The United States innovates while Europe regulates. Instead of fixing their economies, the European Union bureaucrats want to kneecap America's tech success stories with lawsuits and regulatory barbed wire fences to keep American firms from competing on a level playing field. Europeans have long been dripping with jealousy that American firms dominate the tech sector -- cellphones, search engines, social media platforms, artificial intelligence and robotics. Our "magnificent seven" tech companies -- including Google, Nvidia, Apple and Amazon -- saw massive stocks market gains in 2024. Meanwhile, Europe has flatlined.

Jack Reed (R.I.), the ranking Democrat on the panel, have been able to review the report thus far, which hasn’t yet caused any serious political reverberations. Sen. Pete Hegseth, President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, is facing a relentless smear campaign that ranges from the petty to the absurd. Chief among these efforts are allegations from a disgruntled former employee of Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), where Hegseth served as CEO—claims that lack credibility and have resurfaced years after her brief tenure. Meanwhile, critics have seized on other manufactured controversies, including Hegseth’s Christian tattoo, which has been assailed as extremist. This attack on his faith—and on traditional Christian imagery—reveals a deep hypocrisy, as such scrutiny would never be applied to other religious traditions. But these efforts to discredit Hegseth obscure the larger issue:

First, Biden is destined to be remembered as one of the least consequential presidents in American history. His tenure was a speed bump -- a thin slice of bologna that’s sandwiched between the two Trump terms. For a guy like Biden, who so clearly covets adulation, recognition, and public praise, that’s gotta sting. Two, it’s now apparent that Biden’s presidency coincided with a national realignment.
