Tom Wilson, CEO of Allstate, which sponsored the game, took the time to chastise Americans for our supposed “addiction to divisiveness and negativity” and directed us to “trust and accept people's imperfections and differences.” At least 15 were killed by the awful truck attack, dozens more were injured, and now some corporate dude says it’s because of “people’s imperfections?” It’s mind-boggling.
