On Monday, Jan. 6, Congress will convene to certify the 2024 reelection of former President Donald Trump. Jan. 6, 2025, marks the fourth anniversary of the Capitol riot that Democrats and their media still falsely portray as an “insurrection.” Hundreds of Trump supporters gathered at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, after Mr. Trump spoke to a crowd. Among other things, he said: “Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore, and that’s what this is all about. To use a favorite term that all of you people really came up with, we will ‘stop the steal.’” He urged them to protest Congress’ counting of Electoral College ballots.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a suspicious package discovered just five miles from the White House, heightening security concerns ahead of Congress’s certification of the 2024 presidential election.
Authorities confirmed that the package was found in the 5000 block of Hayes Street NE on Sunday afternoon, according to the Daily Mail.
Members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit were dispatched to the scene at 2:15 p.m. to assess the item.
