Mayor Muriel Bowser said Monday that she had a “great meeting” with President-elect Trump. “Today, President Trump and I had a great meeting to discuss our shared priorities for the President’s second term,” Bowser said in a statement on X. “President Trump and I both want Washington, DC to be the best, most beautiful city in the world and we want the capital city to reflect the strength of our nation.” It wasn’t Bowser and Trump’s first meeting. In 2016, Bowser met with Trump at Trump Tower, where they discussed his first transition into the White House, Axios reported. At the time, Bowser said the pair had a “wide-ranging conversation”

You see, humans as a species have sinned, and we must sacrifice our prosperity to prevent the end of the world. Unfortunately for the alarmists, the world stubbornly refuses to end, and even the supposed evidence they trot out as proof of impending doom doesn’t exactly mean what they think it means.

On Monday, a report was relased that a Chinese hacker gained access to the U.S. Treasury Department. According to the report, this was a state-sponsored attack, and the hacker was affiliated with the Chinese government. Although the announcement was made on Monday, Fox News said officials learned about the breach on December 8. A spokesperson for the department said:

A Virginia man, Brad Spafford, 36, was arrested earlier this month after authorities discovered what they claim is the largest stockpile of homemade explosives in FBI history.

Fox News reported a driver in a white pick-up truck intentionally plowed a car into a crowd of New Year’s gatherers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, according to authorities.
The driver exited the vehicle and fired a weapon after hitting the crowd. Two police officers were reportedly injured in the gunfight.

The suspect died during the gunfight with police. It is unclear at this point if it was suicide by cop or he took his own life.
“The 8th District is currently working a mass casualty incident involving a vehicle that drove into a large crowd on Canal and Bourbon Street. There are 30 injured patients and 10 12 fatalities,” NOLA Ready, New Orleans emergency preparedness program, said in a statement.
