On Sept. 17, after Israel and the terrorist organization Hezbollah had been in an escalating war for nearly a year, the Israeli spy agency Mossad launched one of the most daring and sophisticated deceptions in the history of counterintelligence: the pager plot, a modern take on the Trojan horse. Mossad created a bomb in a pocket – and tricked Hezbollah fighters into unwittingly wearing these devices on their bodies.
The repercussions of the plot have been dramatic, including aiding in the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, the weakening of Iran, and the decimating of the target of the plot: Hezbollah.

Phoenix, Arizona— Steven K. Bannon, former Trump White House chief strategist and host of ‘War Room,’ told Breitbart News that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) must cede his gavel by the end of 2024 for the good of the MAGA movement.
Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, caught up with Breitbart News at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix on Saturday night and called for Johnson to step down within days. He detailed that there is a swell of opposition to Johnson within his own conference as the presidential election certification looms on January 6.Rep. Democrat Senator John Fetterman has made a stunning claim about his party's messaging on Donald Trump, as he defends the former president's voters and dismissing claims he's a 'fascist.'
The Pennsylvania Senator revealed on ABC's 'This Week' that he is well acquainted with many Trump voters in his state, and their motivations for supporting the GOP candidate are not as sinister as they are being made to seem.
'I never believed it was about fascism... it's not a word I would use,' Fetterman declared on the Sunday morning show, speaking on Vice President Kamala Harris's repeated attacks on the former president.

President-elect Trump on Sunday named Callista Gingrich, wife to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, as one of his latest U.S. ambassador nominees.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump wrote that he picked Gingrich to serve as U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, citing her previous ambassadorial experience in his first administration. Gingrich, and the other ambassador nominees, will need to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
"Happily married to the Great Newt Gingrich, Callista previously served, with distinction, as my Ambassador to the Holy See," Trump's post read. "During her tenure, Callista worked to advance and defend international religious freedom, combat human trafficking, and provide humanitarian assistance around the World."

A ski lift at a resort in Colorado cracked mid-day Saturday, leaving up to 174 skiers and snowboarders stranded for hours.
The gondola lift at Winter Park Resort came to a halt when its system detected a crack shortly after noon, resort rep Jen Miller said.
The lift passengers were each lowered down by ropes, Miller said. The process took around five hours, leaving some riders stuck in the air for the better part of their day. Pennsylvania Officials of outgoing President Joe Biden's birthplace are demanding that his name be removed from a prominent local landmark following his controversial decision to pardon a federal judge involved in a cash-for-kids program that jailed thousands of juveniles in the state. The move has sparked outrage in Scranton, where Biden has deep ties, with many arguing that the pardon tarnishes the president's legacy. The expressway, which honors Biden's contributions to the city and the country, now faces renewed scrutiny as local leaders demand that his name be stripped from the site in response to the controversial pardon.

A Guatemalan migrant has been arrested for allegedly lighting a sleeping subway rider on fire in Brooklyn on Sunday morning — then watching as his innocent victim burned to death in what the police commissioner called “one of the most depraved crimes one person could possibly commit.”

A migrant from Guatemala has been arrested on allegations he lit a sleeping woman on fire inside a Coney Island F train on Sunday morning.
Police sources say a civilian identified the suspected killer as he rode on a train at 34th Street in Manhattan. The witness waved down the cops, who later picked the suspect up and detained him.
He has not been charged with a crime yet, sources added.
The suspect entered the country and was detained by border patrol agents in Arizona in June 2018 — and so far authorities have not found a past criminal record for him in New York City, law enforcement sources said.

More footage of the Biden Regime’s sabotage of Trump’s border policy was released last week, showing how the government is still hauling away border wall materials in Arizona to be auctioned off at extremely low prices.
This comes after investigative reporter James Lalino discovered earlier this month that the Biden Regime is using its final weeks in power to auction off massive amounts of unused border wall materials that have been left sitting in the Arizona desert since Biden took office.
Every day, an amount of materials that could build up to half a mile of wall are being transported north to be sold, border patrol agents said.

Charlie, 15, was playing alongside his superstar dad in Orlando when the incredible moment occurred on the par-3 fourth hole, leading to wild celebrations.
The pair were already sitting pretty among the leaders of the tournament when the teenager stepped up to take his tee shot. Incredibly, it landed a few feet in front of the hole and then bounced straight down the cup - much to the surprise of Charlie himself.
Back on the tee, he looked around in shock, asking whether the ball had gone in.

He is still standing strong even after surviving an impeachment effort by the Texas State Legislature and constant attacks from the left.

The two publicly sparred after Paxton called out Cornyn’s America-last posture by being one of 22 Republicans to vote for a massive $95.3 billion aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan with no border funding in early 2024.

At the heart of the Christmas story, nestled in the opening verses of two Gospels, lies the birth of Jesus, the long awaited Messiah. These words speak of a King born not in the grand halls of a world capital, but in the squalor of a manger—a place of vulnerability. As the angels proclaimed peace on earth, humanity was presented with the ultimate paradox: the Prince of Peace, born unexpectedly, in the midst of ongoing war and turmoil.
For centuries, the people of Israel had awaited the Messiah. Prophecies spoke of a leader—a descendant of David—who would reign with justice, righteousness, and power, establishing peace and ending war.

If anyone in the future cares enough to write an authentic history of the 2024 presidential campaign, they might begin by noting that American politics exists downstream of American culture, which is a deep and broad river. Like any river, American culture follows a particular path, which has been reconfigured at key moments by new technologies. In turn, these technologies, which redefine both space and time—canals and lakes, the postal system, the telegraph, railroads, radio and later television, the internet, and most recently the networking of billions of people in real time on social media platforms—set the rules by which stories are communicated, audiences are configured, and individuals define themselves.

The latest sign: She’s sent in another 250 National Guard to “help keep the subway safe” for Christmas shopping season and maybe beyond.
Yet the guardsmen legally can’t do most law enforcement, just check bags.
They’re not getting that raving madman off the platform, sorry.
But the 1,000 total Guard help provide a “sense of security,” the gov insists. Merry Christmas!
At least that’s not as insulting as her claim that she’s saving us money by imposing congestion-pricing tolls of “only” $9 instead of the $15 originally planned.

As drone sightings over New Jersey continue to raise questions, a new tool could bring answers about the source of these flying vehicles — if the government could get it off the ground.
Earlier this year, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) began requiring all unmanned aircraft systems to be equipped with Remote ID technology, which makes every equipped drone uniquely identifiable to authorities, like a license plate on a car.
The FAA announced that it would provide a database that could be accessed by local law enforcement, but nearly one year later, local authorities still can't get into it themselves.

If you've been reading political news over the last several days, you know Democrats have a new talking point. As the tale goes, far from the humble, people-led affair of the Biden administration, the federal government has now become an "oligarchy" ruled by Elon Musk. Why? Because the billionaire said Congress shouldn't pass a pork-filled 1,500-page continuing resolution. The horror, right?
Naturally, the attacks on Musk and incoming president Donald Trump, who is now being touted as a "puppet," were picked up by CNN's liberal analysts. What they forgot is that Scott Jennings exists, and for the time being, there's some actual truth being shared on the left-wing network.

When I was a kid, my parents taught me that any apology followed by the word “but” was no apology at all. In fact, they said, you might as well not even try. When I became a parent, my wife and I instilled that same point into our children - no justification, no buts - just say you’re sorry. So when I heard Senator Elizabeth Warren say in an interview on MSNBC, “Violence is never the answer but people can be pushed only so far,” I harkened back to the words of my parents. What exactly was the Senator saying?

Cultural trauma is a very real thing.
If you’re a Boomer (or older), your cultural trauma was the JFK assassination: you remember exactly where you were when it happened. (I asked my Uncle Larry where he was, and he told me he was sprinting away from the grassy knoll. Then he slow-touched his nose. We don’t talk to Uncle Larry anymore.) For Gen-Xers and millennials, the cultural trauma was 9/11. We can all recall where we were when we heard the news. And nearly a quarter-century later, it still colors our thoughts, fears, and expectations. We still think about it every single time we go to the airport.

President-elect Donald Trump took an unprecedented step by filing an amicus brief in a legal battle involving outgoing President Joe Biden’s defiant decision to sell off border wall materials initially designated to secure the U.S.-Mexico border wall. Trump, who made the construction of the border wall a cornerstone of his first presidency, sharply criticized the Biden Administration's "fire sale" of such materials, suggesting the action is "possibly criminal." Late Thursday, Trump took legal matters to a Texas court to urge a federal judge to immediately halt the ongoing sale of border-barrier materials until a thorough investigation of the Biden Administration’s conduct regarding the border wall is complete.

On Thursday evening, Democrats overwhelmingly voted against the second attempt at a continuing resolution (CR), which aimed to fund the government and avoid a shutdown. The CR, backed by President-elect Donald Trump, included a provision to suspend the debt ceiling until 2027. While the proposal had support from the majority of Republicans, a few dozen of the party, along with Democrats, opposed it. As America watches the budget battle wage on, other questions have arisen: Who is that purple-haired woman screaming about "President Elon Musk"?
Videos of an impassioned Democrat lawmaker have circulated across the internet. The woman in question is the 81-year-old Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro,

Many people, perhaps even I at times, debate the granular aspects of President Trump’s administrative agenda. However, there is one component of President Donald J Trump that can never be debated, he is the most consequential U.S President in the past century.
There is not a single intellectually honest person who would doubt the intent and focus of Donald Trump to protect and defend the vital interests of our nation. President Trump’s perspective on the biggest of big pictures can never be denied. He has our total-

Tis the season to be jolly…but I’ve never been one to give a damn about what season it is. I’ll wear shorts in winter if the mood hits me, and white after Labor Day because tradition dictates otherwise. So, when Christmas comes around, I know, I apologize to human beings for lumping Democrats in with us, but this is a family show, so the words I’d like to use will have to remain in your imagination – just take whatever the worst thing you can think of is, double, and they’re about a tenth of the way there.

We saw courage in unlikely places: a whistleblower who changed her mind; a scientist who defied groupthink and ultimately earned poetic justice; and a journalist who sounded the alarm on bias in his newsroom. Each, in their own way, became a signal fire for the rest of us.
It was also a big year for The Free Press. We wrote about debanking, the opioid crisis, and the trial of Daniel Penny. We investigated the indoctrination of our youngest Americans, the crisis at the southern border, and assisted suicide in the Netherlands. We read speeches with Douglas Murray,

"The [US State] department's annual reports on human rights and human trafficking do not mention Coptic women in their sections on Egypt.... the secretary of state should raise the issue directly with Sisi at their next meeting." — "Egypt's Disappearing Women," Washington Examiner, November 14, 2024.
"Under U.S. law, a portion of the $1.3 billion in military aid that Egypt receives each year is contingent on Cairo's efforts to improve its record on human rights. When the next review of Cairo's record begins, the safety of Coptic women should be front and center." — "Egypt's Disappearing Women," Washington Examiner, November 14, 2024.

Cenk Uygur, the main host of the far left political talk show the ‘Young Turks’ attended an event hosted by the conservative group Turning Point USA in Arizona this week and was welcomed warmly by the crowd.
In his opening remarks, Uygur praised the attendees, saying that people on the right are more welcoming than Democrats. He then suggested that this is one of the reasons why Trump and MAGA won the popular vote in November.
He also said that people need to try to work together more, especially when they find they’re in agreement on a particular issue.
Mediaite provides a partial transcript of Uygur’s remarks:

There are media bombshells and then there is The Wall Street Journal report that Joe Biden is so mentally diminished that aides have isolated him to hide his decline from the public and even key members of his administration.
Cabinet secretaries and congressional leaders find it next-to-impossible to get in-person meetings with the president, and full cabinet gatherings are rare.
As the years have passed, phone calls with Biden grew increasingly unusual, with most communications made through intermediaries.
“There were limits over who Biden spoke with, limits on what they said to him and limits around the sources of information he consumed,” a team of Journal reporters wrote.

President-elect Donald Trump will face a “big mess” once his term as president starts in the aftermath of a spending bill passed to avoid a government shutdown.
Under the spending bill, which was passed in the Senate on Saturday, the government will remain open until March 14, 2025, according to NBC News. The bill’s passage in the Senate comes after the House passed the spending bill on Friday night. NBC noted that in addition to the incoming Trump administration needing to address “another government funding deadline and a debt limit,” Trump’s cabinet picks need to be confirmed “through the Senate,” among other things.

Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President-elect Donald Trump, said she has withdrawn her name from consideration to replace outgoing Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, as she teased a “big announcement” next month.
The announcement comes more than a month after the incoming president tapped Rubio as his secretary of state designee, prompting speculation that Lara Trump could fill the vacant seat in the US Senate.
“After an incredible amount of thought, contemplation, and encouragement from so many, I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the United States Senate,” Lara Trump posted to X

A Georgia homeowner was arrested and charged with criminal trespass after attempting to move back into her home, which was being occupied by an alleged squatter.
'I spent the night on a mat on a concrete floor in deplorable conditions. While this woman, this squatter slept in my home,' Loletha Hale told WSB-TV Atlanta.
On December 9, Clayton County police and Sheriff's deputies were called to the home on Livingston Drive after Hale tried to regain access. A deputy, captured on body camera footage, advised Hale to consider the alleged squatter's perspective.
'Just think of it from this perspective, though. Everybody isn't as fortunate as you

Navy pilots flying over the red sea were shot down in an apparent 'friendly fire' incident, the US military said.
The US military was conducting airstrikes targeting Yemen's Houthi rebels and mistakenly hit two US Navy pilots.
Both were recovered alive, with one suffering minor injuries. 'The guided missile cruiser USS Gettysburg, which is part of the USS Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group mistakenly fired on and hit the F/A-18, which was flying off the USS Harry S. Truman,' Central Command said in a statement.
Central Command did not elaborate on their mission.

Less than a year ago, people were still speculating about who Donald Trump would pick to be his running mate. When he finally announced that it was JD Vance, people on the right were excited or at least enthusiastic to learn more about the Ohio senator.
Over the summer, the Kamala Harris campaign tried to brand Vance as ‘weird’ but it didn’t stick, especially as people got to know Kamala’s running mate Tim Walz, who genuinely seemed weird.
Once the VP debate happened, any questions people still had about JD Vance were answered. He came across as a smart, decent man who was worthy of the public’s trust.

Neil Cavuto was forced to leave Fox News because his show was a 'wormhole to another time' before Donald Trump took over the Republican Party.
The anchor, 66, ended his 28-year tenure at the network on Thursday afternoon.
It was rumored Cavuto declined to sign a new contract, which was described as 'a very generous opportunity' by the star on his last show. It is believed, however, that Cavuto may have been the latest cable news anchor to be asked to take less money, after similar reports of CNN and MSNBC talent getting their wages cut have emerged in recent weeks.
