Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has been rather hysterical lately about Elon Musk, who has been tasked to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with Vivek Ramaswamy. On Monday, Warren sent a strongly worded letter to President-elect Donald Trump to request conflict of interest rules about Musk. As The Washington Post noted about her letter and Trump addressing concerns about Trump: "The letter sent by email from the Democrat’s Senate office to Trump’s transition team notes that regular members of the Trump Vance 2025 Transition Team operate under an ethics policy that requires them to “avoid both actual and apparent conflicts of interest.”

The Wall Street Journal has an article delving into the efforts to cover up Biden’s mental state. But the article raises as many questions as it answers. I won’t dwell on the umpteenth revelations that Biden had bad days, that he had trouble remembering lines or figuring out where he was supposed to go.

Hur, the special counsel who investigated Biden’s handling of classified documents, the president couldn’t recall lines that his team discussed with him. At events, aides often repeated instructions to him, such as where to enter or exit a stage, that would be obvious to the average person…
Former Cook County Prosecutor Kim Foxx is no longer authorized to practice law in Illinois after she failed to keep her license current.
According to the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (ARCD), Foxx is "unauthorized to practice law as [the] attorney has not demonstrated required MCLE [Minimum Continuing Legal Education] compliance."
Her license to practice law was suspended on Dec. 1. The liberal prosecutor told WGN-TV that the suspension was a "clerical error," saying that she had "more than enough credits."
The date of the suspension came after Foxx's successor, Eileen O'Neill Burke, began her role as Cook County's top cop.

There have been numerous predictions of a looming Second American Civil War. It should be noted, however, that regardless of the ideological chasm dividing America, modernity (economics, goods, services, and infrastructure) binds the factions tightly together. In 2023, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the United States was worth 27,360, 94 million U.S. dollars, according to data from the World Bank.
The factions are accustomed to nearly on-demand access to goods and services. Both factions utilize a thoroughly integrated, embedded delivery infrastructure for both. Just how integrated? Freight, facts and figures from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics puts it in context.

Like a lot of guys my age (63) I'm carrying a little extra, shall we say, baggage. My old Army uniforms have mysteriously shrunk to the point where I can't get into them anymore. But I do keep an eye on that, and my weight has been trending downwards, gradually; I'm active, but as I get older, I find my appetite isn't what it once was, and despite the few extra pounds I still manage to maintain a rural Alaska homestead with all the rigors that entails - not to mention spending the odd fall day hiking into the spruce woods looking for grouse and hares.

Do people on the radical left demonstrate a mental disorder? Most people on the right roll their eyes at the hysteria and fears of the left, but what’s to be done?
Given that there were major shifts on the left in the 2024 election, is it possible that somehow sanity is breaking through? With the ongoing polarization that has burdened this country, it’s worthwhile to examine the psychological framework of leftists; both how they see themselves and how they see others. The results may also indicate whether the changes in voting behavior might continue, or whether they were situational.
