Trump: ‘Maybe’ Biden Should Preemptively
Pardon Cheney, Kinzinger, Pelosi

Original Article

President-elect Donald Trump suggested Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that President Joe Biden should pardon Democrats and members on the partisan January 6 Committee, such as Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Bennie Thompson (D-MS), and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Democrats and media allies urged Biden in previous weeks to pardon a number of his allies including those who sat on the partisan January 6 committee. Members of the committee stand accused of deleting over 100 files before Republicans took control of the House in 2022, an act Trump says is illegal.

So some of you actually think that pardoning these criminals will mean that Trump--and us--will be left alone in four years? REALLY? Let me assure you that is is EXACTLY what will NOT happen. Lawless people do not suddenly straighten up and fly right just because they were let off the hook. No, they get about 10 times worse. Trump's administration needs to convict them and let them suffer the consequences of breaking the law. If we don't uphold the law for everyone NOW when we have the opportunity, then don't complain about what will happen later.

Such is an irreversible Presidential power and there will be nothing we can do if he pardons all of DC. Except to never vote for a DimoTwit ever again. So go for it, Mr. president (lower case) - make our day. And you'd better pardon everyone including yourself while you are at it.

I came back to ask #3 this question: Indict Trump for WHAT, pray tell? ALL the charges against him have been bogus, so according to you, we need to let them off the hook so they can continue their lawfare tactics?

Trump is trying to manipulate these people into pressuring Biden for pardons. Cute. He's trying to drive them into a panic. Will Trump push to prosecute or not? They don't know and it's driving them nuts.

I have not heard any legal analysis of whether a "preemptive" pardon is even possible. I believe a review of the pardon language shows that it would be unconstitutional.

A bankruptcy judge on Tuesday rejected a bid by The Onion’s parent company to buy Alex Jones’ far-right media empire, including the website Infowars, ruling that the auction process was unfair. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez said after a two-day hearing that The Onion’s parent company, Global Tetrahedron, had not submitted the best bid and was wrongly named the winner of an auction last month by a court-appointed trustee. “I don’t think it’s enough money,” Lopez said in a late-night ruling from the bench in a Houston court. “I’m going to not approve the sale.” It was not immediately clear whether there would be a new auction

On Monday, a jury found Marine Corps veteran Daniel Penny not guilty of negligent homicide in the Jordan Neely case. Penny, as RedState readers will recall, put Neely, a mentally ill homeless man with a lengthy criminal history, in a submission hold during a May 2023 subway incident in New York City after Neely reportedly acted aggressively and threateningly towards other passengers. Neely, who was also restrained by other passengers, was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. It's an understatement to say that Penny's life has been turned upside down since that day, especially after being charged by woke District Attorney Alvin Bragg

The Israeli Navy carried out a significant operation on Monday night, targeting and destroying much of the Syrian regime’s naval fleet. Missile ships struck numerous vessels armed with anti-ship missiles at the Al-Baida and Latakia ports, aiming to prevent these weapons from falling into the hands of hostile entities such as the salafist rebels who have taken over Syria. At the same time, reports from Reuters and Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese network Al-Mayadeen indicated that IDF units crossed the buffer zone and advanced deep into Syrian territory, a claim the IDF denied. According to regional and Syrian security sources, Israeli forces are now positioned approximately 15.5 miles from Damascus

The Israeli Air Force carried out over 300 strikes in Syria in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to Israeli security sources. Some 70%-80% of the capabilities of former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad's military have been destroyed. Most of the strikes were in southern Syria and around the city of Damascus, targeting Syrian army bases, with an emphasis on air defense systems and stores of surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles. Israeli security sources indicate that these actions have significantly expanded the air force's operational freedom. Additionally, there have been attempts by Hezbollah to seize Syrian weaponry. On Monday evening, two Syrian security sources told Reuters that IAF jets

Making fun of Pravda media "fact checks" is, perhaps, a little too easy at times. But doing so is a good reminder of just how distorted their worldview is. Without being reminded, we might fall into the bad habit of taking these people more seriously than they deserve. The Politifact "fact check" on conservative complaints (I'm pretty sure that the complaints are more "common sense" than conservative) that aid to Africa has nothing to do with aid to North Carolina is a perfect example of how the government hypnotized think.
