A New Yorker who was kidnapped by Hamas on Oct. 7 was confirmed dead on Monday, according to the Israeli military.
Omer Neutra, 21, had long been assumed to be alive, but was actually killed during the terrorist attack, with his body taken to the Gaza Strip by Hamas, the Israel Defense Forces said.
Neutra, of Plainview, Long Island, had been serving as an IDF tank commander. “Omer was a man of values, blessed with talents and a Zionist in every sense of the word,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement. “He immigrated to Israel to enlist in the IDF,

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed Monday that President Biden pardoned his son Hunter Biden of tax and gun crimes because “war politics” prompted Hunter’s prosecution — while insisting the Justice Department is not broadly politically biased, as President-elect Donald Trump claims.
Jean-Pierre used the term “war politics” three times as she fielded fiery questions aboard Air Force One from journalists as Biden, 82, flew to Angola for an official visit hours after the pardon, which Biden said was necessary because his son was being “selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

The bromance between George Clooney and Barack Obama is reportedly on the rocks, with the Hollywood star said to be “furious” with Obama for setting him up as the “patsy” to end President Joe Biden’s career and then absorb the blowback following Kamala Harris’ election defeat. Another unnamed source said: “George feels duped and vows he’s not going to be anyone’s political water boy anymore.” George Clooney emerged as a major player in the 2024 presidential election cycle when he wrote a New York Times op-ed calling for President Joe Biden to give up his re-election bid following his disastrous debate performance in June.

Last night, Donald Trump announced that he was nominating Kash Patel to serve as FBI director. Every person in America who believes in liberty and honest government should be celebrating that announcement.
The Obama and Biden administrations were responsible for so many pernicious policies that it’s a bit hard to keep track. However, one can easily argue that the worst thing that happened during their two presidencies was that they transformed the FBI from a law enforcement agency into the police arm of the Democrat party, which they then weaponized against ordinary Americans who hadn’t broken the law but who had opposed Democrats.

It happened. It was almost as predictable as Saquon Barkley having a monster year for the Philadelphia Eagles: Outgoing President Joe Biden decided to pardon his son, Hunter. The crack-cocaine-addicted influence peddler was given a massive blanket pardon—he is now forgiven of any crime he committed between 2014 and 2024. Two things happened with this pardon: Democrats can’t talk about gun control anymore, and this is a classic example of what happens when one side tries to seize on and monopolize a moral superiority. No American voter expects their leaders or elected officials to be ethical leaders.

One of my favorite verses of Scripture is Isaiah 54:17:
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” This verse perfectly depicts Trump’s Election 2024 victory.
The Democratic Party, the bureaucratic Deep State of Washington DC (and the liberal enclaves in the Red States), the Trump Derangement Syndrome symptomatic Media, the Iconoclastic Academia, the Fatalistic Department of Justice plus Wall Street, Thug Street, and Fleet Street wanted Trump to fail.

Americans overall have a very favorable response to President-elect Donald Trump’s picks to staff his new administration, but they still appear to be in wait-and-see mode when it comes to some of Trump’s selections to help lead his White House. And it’s very much a political thing, the latest I&I/TIPP shows.
In the latest online national I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from Nov. 27 -29, 1,411 adult registered voters were asked the following short question: “Do you approve or disapprove of Donald Trump’s handling of his presidential transition?”
Despite the the irregular and at times bitter 2024 presidential election, a solid majority of 54% said they either “approve strongly” (30%) or “approve somewhat”

Romanians vote in a parliamentary election on Sunday in which the far right is expected to gain from uncertainty over whether the shock result in a presidential election will stand.
Days after far-right politician Calin Georgescu won most votes in the presidential election first round, an opinion poll this week showed the hard-right Alliance for Uniting Romanians (AUR) had a narrow lead over the governing Social Democrats.
Gains by far-right groupings in Sunday's parliamentary vote after a campaign dominated by voters' concerns over budget problems and the cost of living could upend Romania's pro-Western orientation and undermine support for Ukraine, political analysts said.

[T]he International Criminal Court (ICC)... should be defunded, dismantled, or both.
[By] law, the ICC is precluded from prosecuting any country that already has a valid judiciary system. This stipulation is the based on the treaty upon which the ICC was founded.
Another option that should be considered is for the incoming Trump administration's new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), to establish whether maintaining US funding for bodies such as the United Nations and its affiliates, the ICC and ICJ, all of which display a strong anti-Israeli bias, is in Washington's best interests. Certainly, without the lavish funding these bodies receive from Western governments,

Retiring President Biden hit the shops on Black Friday and surprised onlookers by picking up a copy of a book describing the establishment of Israel as “colonialism” that’s been met with Palestinian “resistance” — an acquisition its author bemoaned was “4 years too late.”
Biden, 82, left Nantucket Bookworks holding in full view of the press a copy of “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonial Conquest and Resistance, 1917-2017” by Columbia University professor emeritus Rashid Khalidi.
The book argues that “the modern history of Palestine can best be understood in these terms: as a colonial war waged against the indigenous population, by a variety of parties,

I wore body armor during my police career. In those days of yore, it was heavier and more expensive than armor is now, but armor threat protection levels really haven’t changed. The armor police officers wear on duty protects against handgun and shotgun cartridges, but absent ceramic or metal insert plates, not against rifle fire. That kind of tactical armor is thicker, heavier and much more expensive. However, in recent years, armor has become more affordable and ubiquitous. It’s available in several levels from level II, which will stop 9mm and .357 magnum rounds, to Level V, which will stop up to 30.06—true high-powered rifle—rounds.

President-elect Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau covered a long menu of topics from tariffs to China during their roughly three hour dinner at Mar-a-Lago, it emerged Saturday
Trudeau called the surprise meeting at Trump’s Palm Beach golf club an “excellent conversation” but didn’t elaborate as he left a hotel, according to CNN.
The face-to-face came days after Trump threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Canadian and Mexican exports to the United States, if the neighboring countries don’t act to curb the flows of illegal fentanyl and migrants entering the United States.
The pair discussed the tariffs, as well as NATO, Ukraine,
