It was the summer of 2019 and President Trump was about to embark on a state visit to the tiny Nordic country of Denmark. Both parties were readying themselves for bilateral talks, but that was before President Trump floated one of his famous spontaneous trial balloons. Trump said that he had had a conversation with the Danish prime minister, stating that the U.S. might be interested in purchasing the island of Greenland. He said that the concept came up and he said that he would be interested in the purchase from a strategic point of view. This did not sit well with the Danish prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, who has been described

If Greenlanders want to become a US territory fine. If they want billions of dollars, I doubt it would be a good deal. Take a look at the national debt. The US has an abundance of minerals in the country but the Federal government has them all locked up. Biden just signed an executive order locking up more of the Powder Basin in Wyoming.

No. Isn't Greenland a welfare state of Denmark? Why would we buy Denmark's dependent? We already have Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and American Samoa as our own welfare states.

Greenland is rich in recourses low in population. It's located in a strategic area & can become a great asset. Trump can make the deal & America would benefit. Remember they called the purchase of Alaska Steward's folly.

If Trump succeeds in acquiring Greenland, he’ll have to see to it the language changes to English for the next generation. Or maybe not. After all, Puerto Ricans still speak Spanish since the island became a US territory.

only 60k people there, there IS a price where a majority would agree to sell, or rather "Be paid to Join" as a USA territory. Denmark's Prez sez..."Greenland is free people, free of Denmark, we don't own the place!" Sooo... Danes don't need to be paid at all...right? Former Presidents paid over twice as much for the tiny "Virgin Islands"(or one of them), as we paid for massive Alaska. I have been curious for a while what resources might be undiscovered there, under massive amounts of Ice, Elon now has the means to find out..safely, economically, in a clean "Environmentally Careful" way. His tunneling company doesn't get much press, but tunneling through Ice is easier than stone. There may be massive amounts of GOLD there, as well as rare earth and more common minerals.

The Biden Paradox 11 replies

If you think President Biden is the leader of a crime family and everything he says is a a lie, father pardoning son despite numerous vows he would never do so comes as something other than a surprise. When Joe pardoned Hunter yesterday, however, he prefaced it with a laughable statement. The White House has posted the text of the statement and the pardon here. Biden actually includes this proposition in the preface: “For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth.” The proposition is refuted by the pardon itself. Like the man from Crete who propounded the famous paradox, Biden may as

The trans madness continues, as biological males continue to smash glass ceilings and female faces in women's sports. This past Monday, a Marxist activist in a black robe decreed that neither civil rights nor biological science factor into his reasoning process, and that biological male Brayden Fleming has every right to continue playing for the San Jose Spartans girls volleyball team. Brayden goes by his stage name Blaire, but I'll be referring to him as Brayden. Without a hint of irony, judge Kato Crews opined that the delay caused by the filed injunction "would risk confusion." Um...I'd say there's already plenty of "confusion" afoot,

Have you noticed how, especially since the election, people on the left are trying to rewrite history and claim they knew Joe Biden was unfit for office—or at least, not well enough to seek a second term? It’s a fascinating phenomenon, and it tells us everything that is wrong with left. The most recent one that I came across came from David Hogg, who just confessed to having a private meeting with Joe Biden last year. Why is this kid getting private meetings with the sitting president of the United States? I can’t explain it. But, what I really wanted to point to is that the X post

Bill Clinton already wrote and sold his memoir, the imaginatively named, My Life, written and published back in 2005, but like his wife, one memoir is never enough and so Bill has another one, Citizen, that chronicles all the exciting stuff he’s been up to for the last two decades. Hillary Clinton is on her fourth memoir (believe it or not) and Bill needs to pull his weight here. The trouble is that while Bill’s memoir 1.0 was at least justified because he was the president of the United States, he hasn’t done anything since then, unlike Hillary, who really didn’t do much, but at least is out there

In January 1933 the Oxford Union voted 275-153 to approve the motion: “That this House refuses in any circumstances to fight for King and Country.” The proposition became known as the Oxford oath. Winston Churchill was not amused. While others counseled that it be dismissed as youthful folly, he declined to ignore the proceedings at Oxford. Rather, he declared it “a very disquieting and disgusting symptom” and proceeded to explain why it troubled him (as Martin Gilbert puts it in the fifth volume of his Churchill biography, The Prophet of Truth, 1922-1939): "My mind turns across the narrow waters of [the] Channel and the North Sea, where great nations

The International Criminal Court (ICC), as encouraged by prosecutor Karim Khan, propagated the blood libel that Israel is attacking Palestinian civilians. Khan knows or should know that Israel has not only refrained from targeting civilians, but has taken extraordinary measures to the extent of putting its own soldiers at risk to avoid harming them. We also need to ask why South Africa has asked the International Court of Justice to prosecute Israel for genocide, another blood libel from a backward Third World country with its own long litany of human rights violations including the racist murder of Amy Biehl and the necklacing of Winnie Mandela's political opponents.

America is about to go to war over whether the government has the power to deport entire families of illegal aliens. That question involves “birthright citizenship”—that is, whether a child born in the U.S. to illegal alien parents is automatically a U.S. citizen and, thus, an “anchor baby?” The answer, by any fair reading of the Constitution and history, is “No.” Our nation must have complete control of our borders. No illegal alien should be able to circumvent the laws of our nation. English common law, the basis for U.S. law, did not allow such people, the children of “hostile occupiers,” to become citizens by virtue of birth.
