Maybe Pfizer could concoct a vaccine to prevent the transmission of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). Or at least lessen its symptoms. That would actually benefit people, both here and abroad. Case in point: filmmaker, producer, and actor Rob Reiner, AKA “Meathead,” recently found himself in the grip of a particularly debilitating bout with TDS. Not long after Election Day, Reiner tweeted: “I’m finding it very hard to sleep these days. It is 3:15 am. I am laying awake dreading January 20th 2025.” He subsequently added, “I have big decisions to make. For the good of myself, my family, and my country.” Really, oh self-important one, what decisions are those?

Do you remember the Trayvon Martin hoax? Trayvon Martin, the pot smoking, thug wannabe and burglar who one rainy night in Florida ambushed and tried to kill George Zimmerman? Trayvon Martin, the holy social justice martyr? The thug whom Barack Obama deified, saying if he had a son, he’d look like Trayvon Martin?
I remember. I was one of the few comprehensively covering the case, not only for PJ Media, but for my own blog. That case archive may be found here. I watched the entire trial and corresponded with Don West, one of the defense attorneys.
Pam Bondi, Trump’s nominee for Attorney General now that Matt Gaetz has withdrawn, is an interesting choice. On the one hand, she seems like a conservative attack dog and comes out of Ron DeSantis’s Florida, which argues that she’s solid. On the other hand, a lot of RINOs are awfully pleased that she’s been named, which is always worrisome.

Yale Law Professor Samuel Moyn has authored a New York Times essay (“Liberals Bet They Could Beat Trump With the Law, Nov. 22, 2024), which seems to demonstrate that he doesn’t understand, or care to acknowledge, the law from lawfare, or right from wrong.
He abandons professional objectivity in front of his students—and before the public he writes to. He thereby violates the rules and guidelines of his own profession.
This is the same Yale Law professor who argued in the same newspaper, that we should throw out the Constitution. Ironically, that is exactly what his political party did.

The one person who knew that the Joe Biden presidency was something other than “Obama’s third term” was Barack Obama. If Obama had any illusions about his control over events, he was rudely disabused of them on July 21, 2024. This was the Sunday on which Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris.
The announcements caught Obama flatfooted. Biden had not consulted with his former boss either on his decision to drop out nor on his decision to endorse Harris. At 12:46 p.m. EDT, Biden posted on X his intention to withdraw.
The Gaetz appointment is a masterstroke

Lisa Murkowski is itching to vote against firebrand Matt Gaetz as attorney general. She may not get the chance. If the new Senate leadership recesses the Senate for three days, Gaetz can take office as a recess appointment, circumventing the confirmation process. Each of these so-called news outlets has betrayed their viewers for as long as they have been on the air. They consistently misled their viewers day after day to the point that Trump’s victory was a major shock to their systems. They misled their viewers so egregiously that those who only watched those outlets were understandably shocked by Trump’s win.
Iran International, a Persian-language international media outlet with ties to Iranian regime opponents, is reporting that Iran's Assembly of Experts, the only body empowered to appoint or dismiss a supreme leader, has named Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of current leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as his successor. The outlet also reports that Mojtaba Khamenei may assume the office of supreme leader before his father dies. It's no secret that the 85-year-old Ali Khamenei is in poor health. After President-elect Donald Trump won the election, the Biden-Harris State Department is under fire for hosting in-house therapy sessions for employees. A Free Beacon report found that outgoing Secretary of State Antony Blinken spent federal money on at least two sessions, which a source described as a "cry session” for people to deal with Vice President Kamala Harris’ loss. For a host of reasons, it became convenient for progressives to suggest that large numbers were fleeing Florida in search of a better life.
When Florida governor Ron DeSantis was a GOP presidential frontrunner, liberal Democrats dug up every scrap of information suggesting he was an ineffective governor, noting that thousands were fleeing his state as a result of his supposedly poor governance. When Trump became the GOP nominee, the attack on Trump’s adopted home state continued. Hundreds if not thousands of articles were generated implying that Trump’s adopted home state was such a disaster that there was a mass exodus. The reality is just the opposite.
