Yesterday, a madman on a stabbing spree mortally wounded three New Yorkers, who succumbed to their injuries. According to the New York Post and New York Daily News, the alleged perpetrator is a 51-year-old New York City shelter resident with a troubling criminal history that includes at least eight prior arrests—many for felonies—and at least one open case. Once again, New Yorkers find themselves asking the same dismal question suggested by Mayor Eric Adams, who spoke at a press conference after the attacks: What the hell was this guy doing on the street?

The question suggested by Mayor Eric Adams? This isn’t the first time…”Hey, look at me, I’m all concerned and I’ve got your back”!

Stop putting unqualified DEI candidates into office. Pay attention to what they say on the campaign trail. Not their color or gender. Plus if you identify a problem person and take action (Daniel Penny) you just might end up on the end of a trial instead of the perpetrator. Stop voting for these idiots.

Liberals are going to be very upset that he didn't use a gun since they can't very well promote knife control.

The voters in New York City and the state of Washington would rather have these monsters running loose than ever vote for a Republican.
The best way to destroy a country is first to destroy law and order. Think about it.

It isn't just the liberal DAs that are the problem. Advocates for the homeless and mentally ill will fight for these people's "right" to live on the streets and not be on their medications or be hospitalized if they don't want to be. Like abortion advocates, it is "their choice" to live as they choose. Sure, they might be stark raving lunatics but who are we to say how they choose to live according to the advocates. Sometimes the advocates, like many "rights" groups take things a little too far and ignore the health and safety of everyone in favor of the reedon to live delusional and psychopathic of the mentally ill.

The justice system in NYC is letting hardened criminals run around terrorizing the community They need a Republican governor to clean that city up. but Giuliani and Trump are being politically persecuted. And they wonder why the country voted as they just did.

Sadly, there were no good Samaritans willing to step in and stop this guy. Hopefully, the Daniel Penny jury will open their eyes and absolve him.

Just another reason to avoid New York...if there were a few regular citizens in the area carrying concealed, this would have had a different ending...but no, the only protection is to stay the hell out of the state...I'd love to do a vacation up East, but I absolutely refuse to go to or through NY for any reason..the last time I was there I was about 15 or 16...

In much of Free America he could have been stopped by a legally armed citizen.
Essentially impossible to find a legally armed citizen in NYC.

Just curious...
-Why is the name of the Perp being withheld?
(If a conservative is arrested for defending himself, his name is front-page news.)
-Why are the changes to the laws, which resulted in so much crime, referred to -even in
this article- as 'reforms'?
(A reform is a change to something bad, to make it better.)
-Why are hard-left politicians referred to as 'progressive' ?
(The only thing they make 'progress' on is the destruction of civil society.
-Why do the people of New York City continue to elect politicians who are bent on
destroying the city?
(I visited New York City, once. The people there did not SEEM to be stupid.)
-Why are so many large cities, home to so many highly educated people, such crime-ridden social disaster areas?
(It seems like the fewer 'highly educated' people there are in an area, the less crime is committed, tolerated, and encouraged.)
