Did celebrities have to be paid to endorse Kamala?

“Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.” —Ronald Reagan Even those of us who were appalled by Kamala Harris’s campaign, the ever more embarrassing interviews during which she could not answer the simplest of questions unless they were what she ate for breakfast, did not realize that employing celebrity endorsers cost millions of dollars. Most of us probably assumed that those who graced her rally stages or interviewed her for television or podcasts did so because they actually supported her.

Since it cost Harris 1 Million dollars for Oprah to put on that FAKE townhall is horrible! Equally, both of them are as fake as a 3 dollar bill. I think Oprah sold her "fame and dignaty" and didn't do it for free (due to conviction of her beliefs) is unreal and tells me who doesn't have intregity.

I'd say "yes". Oprah was paid $1million to interview her and we know what those "interviews" were all about. The "endorsing" celebrities were paid to perform to hopefully draw crowds. $1billion went into lots of pockets to prop her up.

I get it that they need to be paid, it's what they do for a living. I just wish they were required to disclose it. Some are famous for being famous. This includes those on the Republican side. I would like to know who was paid an appearance fee.

When you think about it, the dems threated the Presidential campaign like they were making a movie. They wrote a script and hired actors. Their "critics" were the propaganda media who rated it 5 stars. The problem is, it was all fake. The American People might like a movie as a diversion but that's not their life. Their life is real, warts and all. In the end, the Media critics gave the Kamala movie 5 stars but the Audience rating was a 2, at best. Unfortunately, a significant number of dems think the movie setting is real. They kind of live their lives that way and when it all collapsed, they were left traumatized. Get over yourselves kiddies, the Kamala show was never real to begin with. Didn't you have a clue when Brat and Joy were the memes of her campaign. That's not a REAL thing. It's an entertainment. I feel a bit sorry for them because the coddled world they lived in is collapsing. You can blame the dems for that as well.

Since the election, we’ve witnessed countless videos of average leftists shrieking and crying because their preferred candidate lost. At the upper echelons of the leftist class, multimillionaire talking heads accuse voters (including blacks and Hispanics) of being racist and misogynistic haters. Whoopi Goldberg, one of the solons on The View, called America’s grocers “pigs.” Joe Scarborough had no idea how much butter cost—or at least the cost of the butter on which the elites dine. Looking at this level of venom and delusion, it’s clear that the Democrats have morphed into the Hapsburgs, for they are ideologically inbred and deeply out of touch.

Kamalish (kah-MOLL-ish) verb, to politically self-destruct from within. Rhymes with demolish. Earliest use, c. 2024. Democrats didn’t just lose an election, they lost a political party, the world’s oldest. Founded in 1828, Democrats will sow chaos no more. The Civil War’s perpetrators have finally come undone. Two factors will contribute to the party’s rapid disappearance on the national level. Without control of the presidency and Congress, many Democrats will retire when their terms end, a process already underway. Once in the minority, their ability to demand kickbacks vanishes.

“Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan," said President Kennedy following the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Obviously, JFK didn't know his own party. Democrats don't bother with mundane means of execution like circular firing squads. Following a defeat that the entire party believed couldn't happen, Democrats created a mass extinction event — a dinosaur-killing asteroid — that hit prominent party luminaries from every direction all at once. There's already blood on the floor, and there won't be much left to "autopsy" if any Democrats actually wanted to examine the reasons why they lost.

Left-wing late night television host Jimmy Kimmel had a full-blown meltdown over the fact that former President Donald Trump won his reelection campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris. In his opening monologue, Kimmel claimed, “It was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard working immigrants who make this country great, for health care, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech” on Tuesday. He then went on to say that we let down our “allies” in Ukraine and NATO, as well as “democracy and decency.” Kimmel’s eyes teared up as he was speaking.

Maybe former President Obama got the message when he spoke to African Americans in Philadelphia. The thrill is gone. The racialist policies just don't work anymore. People are tired of hearing sermons from former presidents with mansions and First Ladies who sent their kids to expensive private schools. We saw on Election Day the end of Obama as a candidate. His "emerging majority" did not emerge, as David Weigel pointed out: Republicans ended election night confident that they would win the presidency, flip the Senate, and perhaps narrowly hold the House of Representatives.

The key factors to evaluate anyone running for political office are the record, the current pledges, claims by adversaries, the motivation for running, the campaign, and above all the individual. We first begin with President Trump. The economic boom under Trump led to historic growth and record-low unemployment across demographics. America gained seven million new jobs causing the unemployment rate to be 3.5%, the lowest in a half-century. Inflation and the price of fuel were under control. For the first time in nearly 70 years, America become a net energy exporter. The industrial and farming heartland was revived. 1.2 million manufacturing and construction jobs were created.

In the late 1940s, Supreme Court Justice Hugo L. Black, in the case of Everson v. United States, took a quote from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson out of context and insisted that the wall of separation between church and state “should be high and impregnable.” Despite some variability, this position became the basis for the Court’s interpretation of the separation of church and state which led to the banning of prayer and Bible reading in the public schools at the beginning of the 1960s. Separation of church and state means (1) that taxes should not be used to support an official national church (denomination) of Christianity,
