What Do I See In a Republican Victory

The Republican Party reveals itself as a national middle-class party. A party that is friendly to earned success and those in need looking for a hand up. A party where the middle, bottom, and top are not divided and play a zero-sum game but are instead united in the pursuit and possession of the ever-optimistic American Dream. A patriotic party. A party that loves America — warts and all. A party with America First self-confidence and swagger on a global stage. Not chauvinism, but swagger. Which just happens to be good for everyone. A party for men and women alike — from Elon and Tulsi to the forgotten women and men

I see RCP stepping from researchers to politics. No matter how good the article for Republicans I am not comfortable with this.

I’d like to see a sharp rise in Feb-March unemployment figures as several bloated government agencies have the axe taken to them. Education and EPA at the top of the list.

In Pennsylvania, the handwringing and recriminations started almost as soon as the essential 2024 battleground state was called for Donald Trump. How did Philadelphia, the Democratic bulwark, deliver such an anemic margin for Kamala Harris? What explains the bellwether counties that Donald Trump wrested back after Joe Biden flipped them to the Democratic Party? And what happened in rural Pennsylvania, where the Harris campaign made an effort to show the flag and yet still lost 30 of the state’s 67 counties by more than 40 points?

The people have spoken and delivered a thumping victory to Donald Trump, repudiating all the lawfare, sabotage and demonization he’s endured over the past eight years. A comfortable majority of voters saw through the lies to the essence of the man: a courageous fighter who loves the American people. We saw it in a way that can’t be faked, that was captured in one iconic image when he was almost assassinated at his rally in Butler, Pa., in June. He stood up with blood streaming down his face, raised his fist and said: “Fight! Fight! Fight!”

Sorry, Chuck Schumer: You’re set to become Senate minority leader as Republicans recapture the Senate. That’s darn cheery news for the nation, especially with Donald Trump winning the White House. The GOP went into the race holding 49 seats to the Democrats’ 51 (including independents caucusing with them), with a near-lock to pick up more at least two seats. Sure enough, in West Virginia, Republican Jim Justice flipped the Democratic seat Sen. Joe Manchin left open — and did so in what seemed to be the making of a landslide. In Ohio, Republican Bernie Moreno beat incumbent Dem Sherrod Brown, with Tim Sheehy overwhelmingly expected to oust Sen. Jon Tester in Montana,

President Donald Trump is not the first president to return to the White House after losing a previous reelection bid, but he is the first to do it after being impeached twice and facing mass resignations of Cabinet secretaries at the close of his first term. The depths from which Trump has risen to regain the most powerful office in the world is a testament to his determination and skill as a communicator. But it is also a searing indictment of a political establishment that has ignored and condemned voters’ legitimate concerns about the direction of the country.

If Democrats had their way, Donald Trump wouldn’t be anywhere near the presidency again. So wrote MSNBC’s Hayes Brown on the eve of the 2024 election’s final day. But Trump is near the presidency — perhaps by decisive margins — and Democrats are apoplectic. The “biggest contributor to the unease that millions of Americans have felt as Election Day approaches,” Brown wrote, is “that there is any tension about the outcome at all. The 2024 election should not be anywhere near as close as it appears, not with Trump’s name on the ballot for the third straight election.”

Voters across the pond are quickly realizing what a massive mistake they made by electing Sir Keir Starmer’s far-left, Labour government in the United Kingdom. America, you cannot afford to follow suit. It’s only been three months since the left-wing Labour government took over from the corrupted ‘Conservative’ party and already taxes are soaring, crime – especially in major cities – is rampant, and mass migration continues to climb ever upward. The sleaze in the heart of government is part of our daily conversation, and I can’t help but look over at America and think to myself, “Gosh, I hope they aren’t going to go the same way.”
Will Kamala Harris lose the popular vote? 6 replies

Kamala Harris isn’t just on track to lose the election; she could lose the popular vote too. Two self-reinforcing voter trends are conspiring against Harris. One is that Republican mail-in ballots could further strengthen the Trump surge that has closed the last two presidential elections, allowing him to outperform his polling. The other is that, as it becomes increasingly clear Harris can’t win, her untested supporters don’t turn out to vote. Together, these trends could make reality what seemed unthinkable just weeks ago. No Republican presidential candidate has won the popular vote since 2004.

The guild said in a statement that members would begin protesting outside the Times headquarters on a daily basis, beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, according to the New York Times. The planned walkout came after a vote on Sept. 10 to go on strike at a critical juncture if a deal wasn't made: Election Week.

Not a single Democrat I speak with believes that Vice President Kamala Harris will win on Tuesday. All hoped for an open convention in August to identify and select the best candidate possible, but they were denied. To that point, this past Thursday, The Hill featured a piece headlined, “Democrats start to point fingers even as they hope for Harris win.” A Democratic strategist is quoted as saying, “People are nervous, and they’re trying to cover their ass and get a little ahead of Election Day. It’s based on anxiety, stakes and the unique nature of this cycle. We didn’t have a traditional process for this election.

One could be forgiven for not noticing, but Vice President Kamala Harris did make her campaign’s closing argument speech Tuesday night in Washington, D.C. To be fair, the little notice it received is not entirely her fault, for as she was making her remarks to a big crowd, President Joe Biden was making his own remarks, calling all Trump supporters “garbage,” which drew everyone’s attention away from Harris. Harris’s speech nevertheless deserves attention. This is not because it was an exception but because it was an entirely pedestrian and unexceptional dribble of words that could have been given by any other Democrat in the last 100 years.

The Democrats have been chasing the dragon for so long even they don’t know what they stand for anymore. Shaped by identity politics and social justice, Kamala Harris sure looks the part. But peel back even the surface layer, and there’s nothing - just the failed dreams of a utopia gone wrong. No one says it better than Kenneth L. Khachigian at the Wall Street Journal: Ms. Harris was unprepared to enter the rough and tumble of national politics and at the 11th hour relies on being propped up, as she has throughout her career, by patrons—Barack Obama, his operatives and a national media that is predominantly desperate to prevent Mr. Trump

Democrats are finally doing something about migration. Donald Trump’s historic re-election to the White House led to a staggering number of Americans taking the left’s meltdown one step further by looking to relocate abroad this week. Since the president-elect’s comeback victory became official on Wednesday, the number of related Google searches jumped 1,514% percent, according to VisaGuide.World. (Photo) Between Election Day on Tuesday and Wednesday, search traffic for “immigration”-related pages on the site grew by 338% — with would-be expats zeroing in on the easiest countries to relocate to, the site said.

Anti-Trump women have taken to social media to take a vow of abstinence — swearing off sex and dating men — after the former president became the president-elect once again on Tuesday. Apparently they see it as another way to “combat the patriarchy,” as leftists like to say. Many videos uploaded to TikTok shortly after the election referenced the “4B Movement,” a Korean radical feminist movement with tenets that go against dating men, marrying men, having sex with men, and having children.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre lost her temper and abruptly fled Thursday’s White House briefing after one brave reporter reminded the American people of the Biden-Harris regime’s malevolent pre-election message regarding President Trump. As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, a happy Joe Biden addressed Trump’s victory by congratulating him and assuring him of a peaceful transition of power. Biden also called on the country to lower the temperature and unite. “You can’t love your country only when you win. Something I hope we can do is see each other as fellow Americans. Grocery store owners clapped back after Whoopi Goldberg on ABC’s “The View” called them “pigs” over food inflation — and raised concerns that the name-calling could expose store owners to further violence, The Post has learned. The comedian claimed “the folks that own the groceries are pigs” as she blamed them for rising prices at supermarkets on the Thursday show — a day after Donald Trump won the presidential election by hammering on inflation in his campaign. “Your pocketbook is bad, not because the Bidens did anything. Not because the economy is bad. Your grocery bills are what they are because the folks that own the groceries are pigs,” Goldberg said

It’s Friday, and they are still counting votes in Arizona, Nevada, and California. And the longer this inexplicable madness goes on, the less anyone should trust the results. Almost 11 million Americans cast their votes in Florida on Tuesday. The Sunshine State finished counting within a few hours. If the idiots who run Arizona’s elections ever do decide to finish counting, we’re talking at most about 3.5 million total votes. The people who ride the short bus to count votes in Nevada probably won’t hit 1.5 million total votes. Sure, California has millions more voters than Florida, but we are talking about California, progressive California, the home of Silicon Valley.
